12/03/2026: If you want to eat really good and fresh fish, Giorgio is certainly one of the best restaurants in Viareggio, the raw fish is also excellent.

07/05/2026: We booked online for April 25th, 12 of us, during one of the stages of the Via Fancigena. In the afternoon, we received a confirmation email reminding us of our reservation. At 8:30 PM, exhausted from the walk, we headed to the restaurant, which, surprisingly, was closed! It was truly absurd. 12 people without food, having to look for somewhere to eat at the last minute.

18/04/2026: I booked a Saturday night reservation through The Fork a few days in advance, but the day before, the reservation was cancelled by the manager. I called and no one answered, I sent an email and no one responded. I think we would have eaten well, but I'll never know because I think it's an unjustifiable attitude. It's unfortunate, but for me, these are necessary assessments rather than judging the menu.

02/06/2026: We ordered two first courses, a fried dish to share, and a water. The first courses were good, but I've heard of both better and worse. The fried dishes were good, and the vegetables were very popular! Overall, we had a good time. The only downside was that the second course took a while to arrive, especially considering the place wasn't busy.

09/04/2026: We were there on the Saturday before Easter, and it was a complete disaster. We had reserved a table, but when we approached, they told us we couldn't sit at the tables on the beach because they were all booked. After a while, we realized that one of the reserved tables was ours, and that was fine. Then we waited 50 minutes to order—I don't think it was anything special, just two courses each. Here's where the worst part begins: the first course arrived after we'd been sitting there for two and a half hours, during which time the wine and water hadn't even arrived. Among the dishes we'd ordered were spaghetti with clams, mussels, zucchini, and sun-dried tomatoes. Instead, a tagliatelle with three mussels, no clams, and a few zucchini arrived, without even an apology or warning of the improvisation. Then, after another hour of waiting without receiving a second course, they told us they were having trouble because everyone had ordered starters (weird?!), and in the end, we decided not to wait any longer, considering we'd been sitting for over three and a half, if not four, hours. The bill was discounted, although honestly, given all the things that had happened, they probably shouldn't have asked for anything. The most annoying thing is that, given the difficulties of a bad day, no one handled the matter honestly and transparently, even going so far as to laugh in our faces when we pointed out the difference between what we ordered and what was botched up. A truly enormous shame, but it makes us want to never try it again.

05/04/2026: Positive: Great pizza, also gluten-free. We've been there three times. Always great, except... Negative: The third time was absolutely incomprehensible. We were deliberately ignored, and only by actively approaching the server did we get a drink. For the rest of the 90 minutes we were there, we were deliberately ignored by all the staff. A table next to us had pizza and dessert, and they were completely unresponsive to us. Probably a cultural misunderstanding? However, the behavior can only be described as very immature. Too bad... 50 euros less revenue, but 50 more for me 🤷

05/05/2026: The restaurant is nice but a bit dated. The space isn't huge, but it's not noisy. The fish is fresh and high-quality. The menu didn't live up to expectations. The appetizers were good, but the first courses weren't very flavorful. The staff is very friendly.

26/04/2026: Comfortable and well-spaced tables, I came to this restaurant by chance, we had a fried food, it was cooked well not greasy, perfect batter unfortunately the prawns were not tasty and the portion for 2 people is not abundant I would have liked the waiter to let us know when ordering, the dessert was very good, for the fried food I will not return but the first courses that I saw being brought were beautiful, if I have the chance to come to this restaurant again I will take other courses

17/09/2025: Excellent location on the seafront. A quiet setting where you can enjoy lunch or dinner by the sea, very professional and courteous service, and very unique and elaborate dishes, but in my opinion, they don't capture the typical Elban flavors of the area.

No wonder, since the incompetent operators were only able to get in there through their connections... 2025: purtroppo ancora poco amichevole, mediocre e troppo costoso. Not that it's stupid, you see that the incompetent operators are just entering the world into contact...

Mrs. Vilma welcomed us with her usual kindness and warmth, and was available to explain the menu to us. The dishes we ordered were appreciated by everyone at the table, so a round of applause goes to the chefs, as well as to all the dining room staff. 14/05/2026: I ate on the beach, furnished with blue and white striped umbrellas and chairs, with the waves in the background and the sun reflecting on the sea. The risotto was excellent, as was the dessert, the crêpes sussette. The staff was friendly and attentive.

19/04/2026: Thanks to the blonde manager, and to Laura, whose energy made her seem festive. Seeing cheerful staff with genuine smiles in this place is truly a blessing. I recommend the harisa (spicy), which, as a connoisseur, given its Arab origins, I highly recommend. Thanks again for the little gift 😋🙏🏽
