28/07/2024: I have been going to this hotel for 30 years.
Cleanliness, patience, helpfulness, friendliness are the things that distinguish it. Margherita and all her staff deserve a round of applause as do Serena and Nicola who delight us every day for lunch on the beach bar.

26/08/2024: Rare que je laisse des commentaires négatifs sachant la difficulté et les contraintes de ce metier mais là impossible au vu de la qualité de ce repas. Cadre agréable avec vu sur le port mais le positif s’arrête là. Apéritif antipasti et premier repas tout arrivé en même temps, presque plus de place sur la table ? rien le temps de savourer. Afin savourer est un grand mot. Tous les plats insipides, aucun goût. Tartare de thon sans saveur avec des fruits jetés autour (aucun intérêt) et des pâtes aux fruits de mer certainement issus d’une boite à conserve ou décongelés avec encore le goût du jus salé. Afin à oublier et bien dommage dernière soirée en famille en Toscane bien gâchée. A revoir pour les prochains, pour nous c’est trop tard.
08/08/2024: Ottimo pesce, Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, terrazza fresca, animali domestici benvenuti (ovviamente segnalare prima il proprio amico a quattro zampe permette di gestire al meglio la propria anche per lui) personale competente, da visitare assolutamente

15/08/2024: This Livorno-style restaurant ten minutes from Terrazza Mascagni was a pleasant surprise. Really good value for money, homemade dishes and generous portions. Maybe the desserts could be improved. Thanks kids!

03/08/2024: On a hot Florentine summer, we wanted to transport ourselves to the sea, and this place made our fantasies come true. The location is large and very beautiful, creating a perfect atmosphere for a summer evening.
We shared appetizers and a very good first course. The only flaw was the polenta, which unfortunately was a bit dry and disappointed us. However, everything else was pleasant and satisfying.
In conclusion, a place that gave us a moment of escape and excellent food, with only a few small improvements to be made.

Very clean place, constantly cleaning - great!
30/05/2024: Marked with dog paw on camping info, but the campsite doesn't even accept dogs in the low season.
The lady at the reception was unfriendly and extremely bad-tempered.

15/08/2024: Beautiful location in front of the Gulf of Baratti with a large space for aperitifs, and a pergola where you can eat overlooking the sea. Very good food, we had excellent fish tartare, as well as fresh pasta ravioli filled with fish and finally a slice with its side dish. Everything quality!
08/08/2024: Special dishes with excellent flavour. Generous portions and kindness. We recommend it. We stopped for dinner to celebrate our birthday (7 August). We will be back.

09/07/2024: We had made a reservation through TheFork and our reservation was confirmed the day before our scheduled dinner. However, when we got there, the place was completely closed up with no sign of life. I called the number and there was no answer. This was very disappointing as our entire party was really looking forward to Sampling what we had was traditional delicious Tuscan cuisine.
Fortunately, some nice local residence directed us to Ristorante Ostello. We did not have a reservation there, of course, but they were able to squeeze us in and we had an exceptional experience.
15/05/2024: We organized our wedding dinner at Casalta. Everything was perfect! From start to finish. So I recommend this restaurant not only for high quality lunches and dinners, but also for private events and parties. A big "thank you" to Tommaso and Valeria, and to all the staff, for the fantastic work done!

Among the desserts I can highly recommend the "Portuguese milk", a refined and homemade dessert. It was like tasting distant flavors again.
I recommend to everyone.
06/08/2024: Delicious food. Wide choice and the pizzas taste very good. Not expensive. The waiter will remain at your table until you have made a choice. Great restaurant.

04/08/2024: The food is good and original, but for what you pay the bar should be much higher. There is no taste surprise whatsoever, it is rather flat, and we see many of the same ingredients being reused in different dishes. The vegetarian options are mediocre and expensive.
This is made worse by the poor service. Orders are forgotten, plates are served (thrown) over fellow diners, there is no personal attention and in a hurry the staff is curt (“dessert?”).
This was a total disappointment. And if the bill is also full of errors, you can only think: what a shame for such a restaurant, which is a bit old-fashioned, but in a beautiful place.
