23/07/2026: I'm sorry, but we didn't have a good experience. The risotto my brother had was rice soaked in butter and then reheated with fish, which is frozen. Okay, they'll write that down. My tuna tartare... three pieces of frozen tuna with lots of salad and dry bread pressed by hand. Terrible. Regarding the service, I can say that the very young, inexperienced waiter poured the wine to test it out on my brother, and then, good, he disappeared. At least the women waited with empty glasses. Terrible. Would I go back? Absolutely. There are restaurants nearby that don't boast a wine cellar, but what they do boast, they make the most of. So I strongly advise against it. Best regards.

18/07/2026: Located directly on the sea, with a few umbrellas in front, it's very beautiful. It's located on the Cecina seafront and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The wait staff is very friendly, the food is excellent, with a wide selection of seafood, cooked to perfection, and a wide selection of wines. What can I say? An excellent restaurant.

30/07/2026: An unexpected encounter that was a pleasant surprise. The revisited pici all'aglione, spaghetti with clams, and fried shrimp and prawns were all delicious. The staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the wait time was reasonable. Definitely worth a try.

22/07/2026: A family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel immediately welcome. Explanations and suggestions for dishes and wines are provided. The restaurant is well-kept. Tables are spaced appropriately apart. The portions are just the right size and of excellent quality, and they're divinely cooked. The only downsides are the numerous mosquitoes (necessary but not sufficient) and the lack of fans, which on a day like yesterday (77% humidity) would have made dinner more pleasant. I highly recommend it as a culinary experience.

02/07/2026: Two seafood appetizers, two spaghetti with seafood, and two desserts, still and sparkling water. 70 euros. Lots of paintings on the walls and carnival posters; the atmosphere evokes the historic atmosphere of Viareggio, but not only that...hanging in the secondary room are many paintings, prints, and paintings that clearly evoke fascism, some of them even featuring Mussolini with a fascist salute...I was perplexed by this ostentation.

21/06/2026: I visited Stefano's in Viareggio and had a great experience. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, made even more pleasant by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. A place where you eat well and feel welcome. Definitely worth recommending and returning to.

09/04/2026: We were there on the Saturday before Easter, and it was a complete disaster. We had reserved a table, but when we approached, they told us we couldn't sit at the tables on the beach because they were all booked. After a while, we realized that one of the reserved tables was ours, and that was fine. Then we waited 50 minutes to order—I don't think it was anything special, just two courses each. Here's where the worst part begins: the first course arrived after we'd been sitting there for two and a half hours, during which time the wine and water hadn't even arrived. Among the dishes we'd ordered were spaghetti with clams, mussels, zucchini, and sun-dried tomatoes. Instead, a tagliatelle with three mussels, no clams, and a few zucchini arrived, without even an apology or warning of the improvisation. Then, after another hour of waiting without receiving a second course, they told us they were having trouble because everyone had ordered starters (weird?!), and in the end, we decided not to wait any longer, considering we'd been sitting for over three and a half, if not four, hours. The bill was discounted, although honestly, given all the things that had happened, they probably shouldn't have asked for anything. The most annoying thing is that, given the difficulties of a bad day, no one handled the matter honestly and transparently, even going so far as to laugh in our faces when we pointed out the difference between what we ordered and what was botched up. A truly enormous shame, but it makes us want to never try it again.

05/04/2026: Positive: Great pizza, also gluten-free. We've been there three times. Always great, except... Negative: The third time was absolutely incomprehensible. We were deliberately ignored, and only by actively approaching the server did we get a drink. For the rest of the 90 minutes we were there, we were deliberately ignored by all the staff. A table next to us had pizza and dessert, and they were completely unresponsive to us. Probably a cultural misunderstanding? However, the behavior can only be described as very immature. Too bad... 50 euros less revenue, but 50 more for me 🤷

01/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for an outdoor spot to hang out with friends and escape the heat. The garden setting is very familiar and welcoming, and the waiters are always very friendly and smiling. The food is very good, and the portions are generous, starting with the appetizers. I highly recommend the tagliata. Being a Saturday night, the wait was long, but it was really crowded, so it was understandable. A truly excellent experience.

12/07/2026: Alessio is now a friend. We've been coming here for years, and the value for money is unbeatable. The food is excellent, the service is pleasant, and the outdoor space is cool and breezy. All the staff are excellent.

27/02/2026: The restaurant on Piazza Bovio offers breathtaking views of the Piombino Channel and the Tuscan archipelago...from the terrace, you can occasionally glimpse Corsica. The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. Davide, the owner, has decades of experience in the restaurant business and always knows how to offer the best recommendations. The cuisine is fresh and top-quality seafood, and the wines are excellent. Well done to all the staff...highly recommended.

07/06/2026: I'm reviewing this restaurant because it's definitely worth stopping by to try their dishes. Located right on the beach, Bagno Leila offers a lovely atmosphere for a wonderful evening. Their strengths are their hospitality and attentive service. We had a full dinner with appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. The cuisine gets top marks: fast service and hot, tasty dishes.

31/05/2026: Today, May 31st, 11 a.m. I'm coming from Grosseto. Sorry, we wanted to stay two hours. Is it possible to stay half a day? Answer: no. Now I'm wondering, wouldn't it have been better to take 11 euros than nothing? Maybe we'd have gotten a taste for it and stayed for lunch. As a result, they didn't take 11 euros, and I won't be going back. Nothing to do with rude people from Grosseto. So much for tourism.
