14/03/2026: I went last night for the first time. The place is very nice; we chose the meat menu, and I must say we couldn't fault anything, from appetizer to dessert. The service is fast and attentive, and the waiters are really friendly. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: A decidedly disappointing lunch. The staff was unprepared and inattentive. A customer at the next table moved his umbrella to cover his table, leaving us completely exposed to the sun, without any staff member intervening to resolve the situation. Furthermore, we waited almost two hours for an order consisting of only two appetizers, two salads, and two bottles of water. The final bill was €120, a sum completely unjustified by the service we received and the overall experience.

30/07/2025: A terrible evening (unfortunately, in almost every way). Three friends and I booked dinner at this restaurant in Cecina, known for its renowned pinsa al metro. Before moving on to the many negatives, I can confirm that the product is high-quality, digestible, and very good. However... the "buts" are too many, too serious, and they'll make me never return. First, when booking, I made sure to ask if there was air conditioning, and to my great disappointment, I found the place rather stuffy (light air conditioning, almost nonexistent). That said, they seat us, and the waitress shows up to take our order only 15 minutes later (imagine 15 minutes in 35°C weather without even a glass of water). We order a total of 3.5 meters of pinsa, of which 1 meter is reserved exclusively for one of the lactose-intolerant diners. I make sure to ask that he arrive at the same time (or before) the first pizzas, as otherwise he wouldn't have been able to "taste" a slice of ours. Of course, his pizza arrives, not only 45 minutes after the others, but one side of it has mozzarella. That should be enough, right? And instead, the beer (14 euros for Menabrea) is presented in a very sad carafe and clearly and heavily watered down: undrinkable. Finally, when it was time for coffee, the waitress decided to bring not 4 (as requested), but only 1. The other 3 arrived only after another 10 minutes. Overall result: 2 hours of dinner in unbearably hot weather 1 diner hungry, or almost 30 euros per person, without even the courtesy of removing the portion of pizza the lactose-intolerant customer hadn't touched. Never, never, never again (despite the pinsa, alas, excellent).

13/07/2025: Serata terribile (purtroppo, sotto tutti i punti di vista o quasi) Io ed altri tre amici prenotiamo per cena in questo locale di Cecina noto per la sua rinomata pinsa al metro. Prima di passare alle molteplici note dolenti, confermo che il prodotto sia di alta qualità, digeribile e molto buono. Però... i però sono troppi, troppo gravi e mi spingono a non tornarvi più. In primo luogo, al momento della prenotazione mi sono premurato di chiedere se vi fosse l'aria condizionata e, con mia somma delusione, ho trovato un locale piuttosto afoso (aria condizionata leggera quasi inesistente). Ciò detto, ci fanno accomodare e la cameriera si presenta a prendere l'ordine solo dopo 15' (immaginate 15' con 35° senza nemmeno un bicchiere d'acqua) Ordiniamo, complessivamente 3 mt e mezzo di pinsa, di cui 1 destinato esclusivamente ad uno solo dei commensali intollerante al lattosio, alché mi premuro di chiedere che quest'ultimo giunga contemporaneamente (ovvero antecedentemente) alle prime pizze in uscita, in quanto, in difetto, egli non avrebbe potuto 'assaggiare' una fetta delle nostre. Ovviamente, la sua pizza giunge, non solo dopo 45' dall'arrivo delle altre, ma una parte della stessa presenta della mozzarella. Basterebbe questo, no? E, invece, la birra (14 euro di menabrea) viene presentata in una tristissima caraffa e palesemente e pesantemente annacquata: imbevibile. Infine, al momento del caffè, la cameriera decide apoditticamente di portarne non già 4 (come richiesto), bensì solo 1. Gli altri 3 arriveranno solo dopo ulteriori 10'. Risultato complessivo: 2 ore di cena con un'afa insopportabile 1 commensale digiuno o quasi 30 euro a persona senza nemmeno la cortesia di espungere la parte di pizza nemmeno toccata dal cliente intollerante al lattosio. Mai, mai, mai più (nonostante la pinsa, ahimè, eccellente)

07/05/2026: We booked online for April 25th, 12 of us, during one of the stages of the Via Fancigena. In the afternoon, we received a confirmation email reminding us of our reservation. At 8:30 PM, exhausted from the walk, we headed to the restaurant, which, surprisingly, was closed! It was truly absurd. 12 people without food, having to look for somewhere to eat at the last minute.

01/06/2026: There's a great place for four to eat in a side street. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. I went there because of the good reviews and we were rewarded. Highly recommended.

21/04/2026: This place had been highly recommended to me, and the reviews had convinced me. Sunday family lunch with a sea view. The location is very nice and the restaurant is well-kept, although there are some small things that could be improved, like the table settings with old knives missing screws, which give the impression of being a bit neglected. The staff is very friendly, although constantly placing orders at the wrong table isn't exactly the best, but that's certainly not the problem. We didn't like the pizza. It didn't have much flavor and wasn't even cooked well. The hot seafood appetizer was very plentiful, although lightly seasoned and flavorful... but the ingredients were good. The first courses were different, as they lacked great flavor and consistency... except for the consistency of a large hair found inside. We immediately told the serving girl, who not only didn't bat an eyelid, but also didn't replace the dish, which remained untouched and we paid for normally. A restaurant can fall for these things. Because mistakes can happen to anyone and there wouldn't be any problem, but you have to make the customer feel like you've at least listened to them. I even mentioned it at the cashier, but it was as if I hadn't said anything. The fried food, on the other hand, was very good and plentiful. The desserts weren't very good... But at the cashier they told me that, on the other hand, there might not be enough... For the price I paid, I'd say the lunch was absolutely not up to par. I must have been unlucky, given the reviews. Too bad.

17/01/2026: Nice place, but our table was under two "mushrooms," and the heat was unbearable. We asked for one to be turned off, but they wouldn't grant it. They just lowered the heat on one of them, but the temperature was still unbearable. We waited 20 minutes to pay the bill. It's a shame to waste time on things like this.

15/01/2026: A lovely little restaurant located on the Forte dei Marmi seafront. A charming, elegant location, with indoor tables in the dining room and additional tables on the outdoor terrace. The terrace is equipped with gas heaters, convenient and useful for cooler weather. As usual, the menu is predominantly seafood-based, but there are also a few meat dishes. Sushi and crudités are also available. I tried the sea bass accompanied by potatoes and vegetables. It was a good portion, perfectly cooked, and delicately flavored. The desserts are also excellent; I recommend the lemon tart or the tiramisu cannoli. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fairly quick. Paid street parking is available, just steps from the restaurant entrance.

07/05/2026: Positive experience. I didn't enjoy the appetizer, but the fried fish and fruit sorbet were delicious. The waiter was kind and professional, and the atmosphere was good.

12/05/2026: We arrived last minute when the restaurant was almost closing and were very welcomed to grab a quick lunch. With spectacular views on the sea we had a fantastic pasta vongole and a marvellous white wine. Very nice owners as well.
