27/10/2025: Farenheit 451 is a well-known place in Alpignano that offers a bit of everything: a pizzeria, a restaurant, and a gelato shop. I wanted to try their aperitivo, and I was right. Along with my Spritz, they brought not only olives, chips, and peanuts—a must-have for an aperitivo—but also some delicious snacks. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'll have to come back to try their seafood dishes. I highly recommend it!

21/08/2025: In complete disregard of the law, there's no menu displayed, or worse, no printed menu! The dishes are merely listed, so prices are kept in the dark. And while this is a completely illegal practice, one could overlook it for honest prices, but this is a rip-off! Four people, one dish each, and a €16 bottle of wine: a final bill of €185! The food isn't bad, although, as the staff repeatedly stated, "not plentiful and simple," rather ordinary. Extremely limited choice: just one appetizer, three first courses, and four second courses. To be avoided.

08/09/2025: I just moved to the area, and every Saturday my family eats pizza. We've tried other good pizzerias so far, but: €25 for 2 pizzas, 1 speranza, and 1 ruche. The ruche arrived wrong, with eggplant instead of red onion, and that's already bad because I get takeout pizzas, get home, open the box, and have to eat the eggplant, but it's okay, my mistake because I trusted them. Anyway, the tomato wasn't good, and in the ruche (without mozzarella), you could taste something wrong with the tomato. Anyway, I'll leave you with a photo that speaks for itself. By the way, I woke up this morning with a stomach ache and without having digested the pizza, so probably the dough didn't rise enough or I don't know, anyway, it's heavy, and it's not normal for me to take it to the bathroom the next morning. For €25 for these two pizzas, next time I'll get two more than decent maxi kebab pizzas.

21/09/2025: Everything was delicious and freshly made, the service was very friendly and attentive.

28/08/2025: Ordered the set menu which started amazingly well with a generous portion of cut meats/sausage, followed by a great pasta dish with deer ragu. The secondi was unfortunately a very hard and chewy piece of roast, and as I have heard a microwave beep before it was served, I guess it was not fresh. The dessert mentioned in the set menu was supposed to be 'based on seasonal availability', but the super very friendly staff, who was patient with us non-italian speakers, gave us a handful of options to choose from. We had Tiramisu and profiteroles, and had bad surprise when the bill stated 2x dessert on top of the set menus. The language barrier made us not discuss, but if the set menu says there's a dessert included, I'd expect it to be so. I'd recommend the restaurant but either with a la carte choices or clear communication towards the staff :-)

26/10/2025: We've been to Da Lia several times for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is simple and informal, yet always cheerful and welcoming. The seafood is top-quality and expertly prepared. The dishes are generous and flavorful, mostly inspired by Sardinian tradition, where simplicity highlights the ingredients. The bottarga pairs well with the pasta dishes. The wine list is basic but comprehensive. Prices are reasonable. One of the best seafood restaurants in Turin: we'll be back again.

29/07/2025: The pizza is good, good service, but a coffee at the table for €3.50 and a grappa for €9.00 seems disproportionate to me. The dessert is expensive for the quality.

12/07/2025: Very good pizza, slightly expensive. The waiters are very professional and friendly. I don't like very much the spoken-only description of the daily specials and of the desserts, as the acoustics of the room isn't good and sometimes it can't be heard very well. Besides pizza, they also have good cuisine dishes, although I generally go for the pizza. Limited choice of draft beers, they also have a certain choice of (bottled) craft beers, but I find the latter to be somewhat too expensive, especially if one can't share them, as they list no single serving bottles. The location is nice, with a good atmosphere, but the place is not a large one, so it's better to book in advance.

23/06/2025: Stopped for a drink after visiting the Canischio with my 92 year old father, the place where his ancestors are from. Some Wonderful residents of the area took us around, explaining the history of the town. We ended our visit at this lovely bar! Friendly staff and patrons!

12/10/2025: Good location, overlooking the lake, on a fairly quiet street. Interesting appetizers are served outside (at tables in the square) along with generous platters of tapas. Dinner is available inside and under the loggia. Our experience with the food was disappointing: tasteless seafood appetizers, poorly cooked or low-quality fish (frozen and second-rate octopus, cuttlefish, and shrimp). The seasonings and flavors were dull, a shame. First courses: the seafood cuisine confirms its low quality... pasta with clams full of the grit typical of poorly prepared clams. The mussel soup was bland, and the mussels were not cleaned properly. The meat second course, seasoned with porcini mushrooms, was good. The menu is varied (but everything we tried was disappointing). The mandarin sorbet with Grandmarnier, recommended by the very kind waiter, was excellent. Quick service. It's a real shame considering the quality of the food. 3/5 stars overall, but the dishes are 2/5.

05/10/2025: Reservation for an aperitif at 6:00 PM 6:45 PM I stopped the waitress (the girl with the mole near her eye) and said, "Excuse me," and very rudely, without even stopping, "My colleague will come over." She replied rudely and very rudely, in a loud and annoyed tone. 7:10 PM We made a reservation (including a black mojito) 7:30 PM They brought the wrong drink (classic mojito) The waitress's response was, "We put dark rum in." (The black mojito has licorice in it) "But we don't have licorice." (Sorry, but tell me first.) 7:45 ​​PM = We're still waiting for an aperitif after almost 2 hours of waiting, the cocktails now full of melted ice. Terrible service, but above all, rudeness from the staff. Waiters completely pissed off. The place is sparsely crowded and not even a bit of music under the porch.
