29/12/2025: The place was nice, but they made us wait an hour and a half for the food. Everything was terrible; the risotto with the milanesa was the worst, the meat was overcooked, like it was going to die. A bad experience.
28/12/2025: The food is average, nothing special. A humble waiter takes care of taking orders and bringing the food, he does everything himself. The price is reasonable for a restaurant in the center of Turin.

03/04/2026: The owner seems to have lost some of their sense of genuine hospitality. The focus is clearly on profit and efficiency – everything seems designed to be rushed through as quickly as possible.
The pizza was more like a tarte flambée than a classic pizza.
The mussels, however, were fine.
01/04/2026: I went to this place for dinner:
both the first course and dessert were good, and the pizza was decent.
Very fair prices (a cover charge of €1.50 is hard to find, and desserts are €6).
The dining room is a bit noisy.
Overall, I recommend it, especially if you're looking for a reasonably priced dinner on the Verbania lakefront.

05/04/2026: The restaurant was busy and quite chaotic, with several tables complaining about the service. As for the food… judge for yourself, but to me it was reminiscent of dog food, and the rest was mediocre. What a shame — the view, though, was nice.
25/02/2026: Motorcycle ride, a little spot on the shore of Lake Maggiore with a view of Isola Madre.
Excellent and plentiful food.
Highly recommended, especially for motorcyclists! 🤙

The room was behind the hotel/restaurant. Not suitable for a quiet, relaxing sleep 😅 as the road was noisy and the windows weren't soundproof. Ideal for a one-night stopover.

very kind.

03/04/2026: The good news first... we had good service, some of the most comfortable seats, and, like all restaurants right at the front, a great view of the lake. The Aperol was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
We ordered two pizzas and didn't even finish them because they were so bad. The toppings were tasteless, and the dough tasted like store-bought dough... Recommended for drinks, but we definitely wouldn't come back for pizza.
29/03/2026: Overall, the food was fantastic, with delicious appetizers like quail, squid, and mussels. Main courses included fish dishes, horse meat, and also excellent pizza.
The service was also superb. The owner, Francesco, provided excellent service and was also up for a few jokes. All in all, simply fantastic!

29/06/2025: I've only been there once, 16 years ago, with my classmates in my fifth year of high school. I still have fond memories of it. I'm sad to hear that today is the last day and that it will close forever. I have nothing to say except wish you all the best of luck for the future!

26/02/2026: Terrible! Never again! I decided to try this place with some colleagues, ordering tortellini with ragù and tonnarelli cacio e pepe (cacio e pepe), both of which I've attached a photo of. The pasta was clearly not fresh, the sauce was too dry for the tonnarelli, and the ragù was full of parmesan cheese without even asking. All the dishes were peppery enough to make you sick. One dish arrived after everyone else had already finished, the house red wine was diluted with water, and the kitchen smells were overwhelming, suggesting exhaust hoods were not working. The rest of the place is beyond reproach, it's been like this since 1948... as a true Italian, I wouldn't go back, not even for free!

I wouldn't recommend it.

25/03/2026: Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, good food, the only flaw being the customer service. My companion ordered the octopus appetizer and gnocchi alla sorrentina, both very good. I, on the other hand, ordered lamb ribs, which had a strange smell. However, they looked inviting, were perfectly cooked, and had a pleasant flavor (although with a slight bitter aftertaste), so I happily ate them all. Afterward, I asked the waitress without arguing why the meat had that smell, still clearly visible on the bones, but I got no answer. Not then, nor at the counter. I honestly hope it wasn't stale meat. I didn't want a discount, but at least an honest and open response.

02/03/2026: I had the opportunity to stop by with my family for a quick lunch.
The very friendly staff welcomed us without a reservation.
We read the menu and were intrigued by the dish of the day: polenta and wild boar stew.
Given the substantial nature of the dish, we chose only this one.
Everything was pleasantly good and the flavor was delicate.
I'll be back!
29/01/2026: A rustic and quaint place, with a fireplace that takes center stage. The food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient! I recommend it to everyone.
