07/09/2025: Good pizza. Good dough. Unfortunately, the menu says you can choose whole wheat or kamut dough, but that wasn't the case. There was no sorbet. There was no IPA Blanche beer... The staff was unfriendly.

25/07/2025: Excellent pizza, super-fast service. It's a shame there was a huge table of screaming children, which made conversation difficult. But obviously, the customers' lack of politeness isn't the managers' fault...

03/09/2025: The place is welcoming and familiar, we had a table for two with a view of Monviso in the face (exceptional and romantic), very helpful service, good and characteristic food. To return.

17/08/2025: We had lunch at this inn, and even though we'd called in the morning to make the reservation, they took care of it without any problem. The place is reminiscent of Sunday lunch at grandma's house: cozy, welcoming, and delicious. The menu, consisting of five appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert, is very generous, all excellent quality and a fabulous value. The owners are two delightful, friendly, and approachable people, with whom it was a pleasure to chat between courses. It's one of the few places in the area that preserves its traditions, kindness, and love for their work. We'll be happy to visit you again!

29/09/2025: Family-friendly restaurant. The service was very good, fast and the head waiter gave good advice. The dishes are very tasty and plentiful, and during this period the kitchen also offers fresh mushrooms. Unfortunately, there was a lot of chaos and it was difficult to talk to the other diners. All in all a positive experience.

18/09/2025: I know I'm probably not going to say anything new, because everyone is talking about the excellence of this place. But I want to leave you with my thoughts: Fabio and Manuela aren't just "good," they are the soul of this place. Their passion is reflected in a pizza that has become a regular occurrence for me, three times a week. It's tasty, but above all, so light and digestible that I could eat it every night without thinking twice. In a world of chains and soulless restaurants, this family business is a rare gem. They deserve not just 5 stars, but all the respect and admiration possible. For me, they are impeccable.

13/10/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Varallo and have lunch at La Sfinge. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the ingredients are fresh and excellent, the place is tidy and clean. I was really satisfied with my gluten-free pizza, which was truly excellent and one of the best I've ever tried. The fried fish and desserts my parents ordered were also excellent. La Sfinge is always a reliable choice, even over time.

09/11/2025: A very nice lakefront restaurant where I always stop… when I can find a table. The only problem is finding a seat because it's always packed. The food is generally very good. There's always a wide selection of pizzas and restaurants. This time I had a pizza called Etna, which isn't a special pizza. It's a puffed piadina-like crust with culatello on top and arugula, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella inside. Fabulous. The staff is always very friendly.

08/11/2025: The food is very good, but the pasta dishes are frankly very small. I went in hungry and left almost empty after eating my four ravioli. You'd be better off getting lasagna or a pizza. Otherwise, it was quite busy and the staff were friendly.

20/07/2025: Literally the best seafood restaurant I've ever eaten at! Refined dishes, excellent quality fish, and the friendliness and warmth that are a hallmark of the place. We'll definitely be back!

27/05/2025: The first courses were excellent, the fried food was out of this world and plentiful!! That said, the service was really slow, sitting at the table for 25 minutes before finally having a glass of wine, they wouldn't even give it to us when we asked.... incredible. This was by the owner's will, who only serves him and strictly in order of arrival. The owner is still nice and welcoming, nothing to say, but.... come on... We were 4 of us and we tasted a few appetizers... 3 first courses and fried food. Special dishes, well-prepared, cacio pepe and shrimp rated 10! The portions are tastings (except for the fried food), you pay like everywhere else nowadays.... For me 3 stars... happy to have tried it but it's not one of my favorite places (personal opinion)

13/10/2025: Delicious pizzas, thanks in part to the quality ingredients, top-quality cuisine (the hand-chopped raw beef is recommended), friendly and professional service, and last but not least, fair pricing despite being in the center of Alba.
