18/05/2026: We went to the restaurant on a Sunday and ordered three pizzas to go. The restaurant was packed, both in the backyard, inside in the wine cellar, and on the veranda. The pizza dough was paper-thin with a wonderfully seasoned sauce. We'll definitely be back.

15/05/2026: The welcome and staff were extremely unfriendly. I stood in front of the owner for 5 minutes, even though I said hello twice and I speak Italian very well... she completely ignored me... I left, so I have no further comment.

05/08/2026: A lovely evening on the terrace of this restaurant. The squid and smashed potatoes were excellent! As was the octopus with burrata and fried onions. A very warm welcome. We'll be back.

01/06/2026: Unexpected restaurant: on a street where you might have concerns about safety when walking at night, this restaurant (which actually has a locked door; you have to ring the bell and they'll come and open it for you) is a pleasant surprise. It's really very nice, and the staff is friendly. It's a Moroccan restaurant. The food isn't exceptional: both my guest and I had stomach problems that night. Too bad...

06/08/2026: Dinner for four after visiting the Royal Palace, tired and hot, but the experience at Bergamotto completely revitalized us! Excellent mixed fried fish, light and fragrant pizza, tagliatelle with zucchini, and excellent red shrimp tartare. All "topped off" by the professionalism and friendliness of Enzo, the dining room manager. We will definitely return in cooler weather to enjoy other local specialties. 14/06/2026: Good pizza, wood oven. Many different flavours to choose from and all reasonably priced. Possibly one of the best pizzeria in Carmagnola. Atmosphere is a bit bland and sometime the music from the speakers is too loud.

20/04/2026: I've lived in Carmagnola for almost four years and hadn't yet had the chance to try your pizza. From now on, I don't think I'll ever need to try any more. Congratulations!

31/05/2026: What an amazing experience, we came from quite far to try the food and check the location and we were not disappointed! It was a fantastic experience, from the beginning to the end, with the food of course being the cornerstone of it all. The dishes were tasteful, imaginative and so well constructed. Plus the veranda on the lake shore topped the whole experience off. Thank you so much to Chef Agostino for the experience.

21/07/2026: A great rediscovery. I knew the place when it was run by a Tuscan family years ago. Now they're Chinese. The farinata is truly excellent, as are the pan pizzas: tasty, soft, with a delicious crust. The surprise was the spaghetti alle vongole, made with real clams, and better than many more pretentious restaurants. Affordable prices.

21/07/2026: We booked a large table well in advance to celebrate an important family occasion. Despite the long notice and the significance of the event, we were seated on the scorching outdoor terrace instead of the air-conditioned dining room. Unfortunately, the worst was yet to come with the service. The elderly gentleman taking our orders was keen to ask us to be precise when dividing the dishes to avoid confusion. Unfortunately, he was the one who caused the confusion, blatantly swapping the orders and stapling the tickets backwards. The result? Total anarchy at the table: dishes never arrived, main courses served before the main courses, and unbearable wait times. The situation was made worse by the staff's general attitude: the waiters, clearly struggling, began systematically ignoring our table, even avoiding approaching when we called them to ask for explanations or make basic requests. The only bright spot of the evening was a member of staff who, alone and with great professionalism, did everything she could to manage our table and save the dinner, demonstrating a care and kindness that was sadly lacking throughout the rest of the establishment. If it weren't for her, the event would have been a complete disaster. This kind of overall service is unacceptable for a venue that accepts reservations for events. It was a forgettable experience that unfortunately ruined the party. Highly discouraged for ceremonies and important occasions.

19/07/2026: I'm now a regular. You can never go wrong at Don Camillo. Excellent seafood and meat cuisine. Qualified, helpful, and friendly staff. Clean and well-maintained location.
