The Fassana veal tartare was served very sautéed. I know Piedmontese tartare is seasoned sparingly, but this was excessive; the meat was simply raw with a few arugula leaves and a few drops of olive oil (tarragon, perhaps?). The tripe was similarly sparingly seasoned (or rather, unseasoned). The tagliatelle with lamb ragout and Parmesan was absolutely the only dish I couldn't fault: very tasty, well-seasoned, and everything was just right. The lamb shank was a huge disappointment. I love lamb, but here its flavor was lost; it was served cold, and again, the dish was unseasoned. The chef has a serious problem with the use of salt. The restaurant uses high-quality ingredients, but in my opinion, they don't know how to use them properly. The wait time for order fulfillment was long. The management was chaotic. The staff made no eye contact with the customer.

Good food, friendly and helpful staff, and the woman who looked after us was friendly and professional. We had lunch outside. The price was fair.

Everything was satisfactory, except for the lack of empathy from the only waitress taking orders.

Authentic Italian dinner at l'Osto del Borgh Vej. I was with some American friends to immerse in the fantastic identity of Torino's cuisine. We started with vitello tonnato, and then we ordered two risottos with Barolo wine (the star of the night), one agnolotti del plin, and one veal cheek braised in Barolo wine (delicious). We concluded with one dessert each, 1 bonet, 1 cuore caldo, 1 panna cotta, 1 tiramisù, all extremely good. Dinner was accompanied by 1L of Barbera red wine.
We managed to share all plates. Total price 144 €, all included.

Slow service. The food wasn't exceptional and the prices were excessive, especially the €3 cover charge. The agnolotti portions were too small.

Pleasant location, especially if you take advantage of the outdoor tables in the square (even if they are noisy). Excellent service, good food, tourist menu (in fact, it is mostly frequented by tourists, foreigners, and people passing through). Suitable for families, medium-sized groups of 4-6-8 people. Good portions, slightly high prices (but considering the attendance, they do well!). I recommend the excellent fillet steak with Green Pepper.

Lovely, cozy little osteria.
A great place to try traditional Piedmont cuisine, just the way I like it.
The food quality was very good. The desserts were beautifully presented and delicious (although the tiramisu was a bit too creamy for my taste).
The location is fantastic — that part of the city is lively and surrounded by many other restaurants.
However, the service was disappointing. The waiter didn’t seem to enjoy his job, and other staff were in the kitchen and not responsive.
Regardles of the unacceptable service, I really enjoyed my night and would still recommend visiting.

Slow and disorganized. I spent about 2 hours at the table, arriving around 12:30, so the place was still empty, and I didn't get a coffee because the wait was too long and I had to leave. The food was nothing special. The setting was nice on the square.
