01/02/2026: What can I say? The owner is very personable and friendly. He doesn't serve anything he hasn't tasted or drunk and doesn't like! The food is truly excellent and impeccably cooked. I know they also do pizza, but I've never tried it. It's a shame to go there and eat pizza.

12/03/2026: They served us dry mussels, as dry as pre-cooked. We were regular customers, but after the owner's bad joke, I don't think I'll ever go back!! He charged us for two liqueurs... "After 8 kilos of mussels, you wanted them free?" But wasn't that a mussel tour?!!?!?

11/03/2026: It was the first time I went to Prima e Poi and I have to say I was completely satisfied. The staff was very kind and attentive, the menu was delicious and plentiful, the price was good and affordable.

12/02/2026: Very welcoming, both from the staff and the owners. One of them came over midway through the evening to check on us and was happy to engage in a casual conversation. The dishes are exclusively fish and shellfish. The wine list is affordable. Reservations are recommended. A table cannot be guaranteed otherwise.

01/03/2026: The pizza was average, nothing special, desserts, desserts and that's it... They don't surprise you. The service was kind but careless; one evening at a table of four, they forgot a plate, a teaspoon in a dessert, and a dessert didn't even arrive!

24/02/2026: Thanks to a last-minute decision and inspired by the excellent reviews, I discovered this restaurant in Tortona. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the ambiance: meticulously designed, with colors and music creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The welcome was kind and attentive, making us feel immediately at ease. Moving on to the food, the saffron risotto and eggplant parmigiana were impeccable, both in flavor and presentation. We finished with a classic tiramisu, also carefully presented and truly delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant in Tortona and will definitely return.

19/02/2026: They refused a reservation via WhatsApp message because, due to a dietary requirement requiring protein-free foods for special medical purposes, they wouldn't be able to earn enough money. I quote the message verbatim: "Good morning, Osteria La Corte. I tried calling you back between tables because I'm working. I'm very sorry about your dietary requirement, but we can't reserve a table for you. We don't charge a cover charge, and therefore we wouldn't earn anything if, as I said, you eat food brought from home and little else. You'll also understand that Friday nights are a busy night. Thank you so much for thinking of us. Best regards."

04/11/2025: Embarrassing for lunch, chickpea salad! Canned chickpeas and corn arrive, poured onto the plate, €1, then salmon pasta with a nice thick crust, truly awful.

13/10/2025: I think they've changed management, because unfortunately the quality has dropped, the flavor has dropped, and nothing we ordered was as good as it used to be. I'm sorry. I won't be back.

15/01/2026: I went to dinner at this restaurant today with my mother and boyfriend, and at first glance, the place is quite pleasant, beautiful, seemingly clean, and the waiters are kind and helpful. The problem was when I ordered the shrimp tempura: upon first bite, I immediately noticed that the shrimp hadn't been cleaned before frying; the animal's intestines were still completely present. I called the waitress, who apologized and promptly replaced the dish. After about 5 minutes, a new plate of shrimp tempura arrived, and once again, the shrimp were dirty. I called her again and said I didn't want it anymore. Cleaning the animal's innards before serving is the bare minimum: just because it's hidden inside the fried food doesn't make it okay; "what you can't see, you can't taste" isn't acceptable. Also, because, in the rice dumplings, the shrimp were perfectly clean. Honestly, this situation makes me a little uneasy about returning or recommending this place, even though I can't deny that the service is fast and the food is good.

14/01/2026: Second time here. The first time I was impressed by the freshness and attention to detail of the dishes (perhaps because it was dinner). The second time I went for lunch, and unfortunately, there were several things I didn't like. The presentation of the dishes was very messy. The beef steak was inedible because it smelled bad. The tempura and fried foods in general were too greasy and placed on the plate without any logic or sauce. The sushi rice was slightly sweet. And always placed on the plate without any attention to detail. On a positive note, the tartare and seared nigiri. The service was okay. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy, and perhaps it smelled of fried food. Price: €15, including cover charge.
