28/05/2025: The food, especially the pizza, is excellent, the bread they bring you while you wait is addictive. Friendly and helpful staff, I always go back willingly.

24/05/2025: Can’t say enough good things about this place! Easily the best pizza in Milan—especially La soppressata and Margherita. My roommates and I have probably eaten here 50 times in a year (no joke)! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is always relaxed. Bonus: there’s a TV if you want to catch a football match while you eat. An absolute favorite!

01/06/2025: I ended up there by chance while returning, and since I didn't book I stopped by quickly asking if they had a free table. The staff was very kind and also friendly, and they immediately prepared one for me waiting just a couple of minutes. Since I stopped for lunch I preferred to have a first course, which was very good, but they also make an excellent pizza that I will not miss the opportunity to try next time! Fair prices, good food and very friendly staff!

05/05/2025: Classic 80s pizzeria with an environment covered in photos of footballers and famous people, the footballers' shirts hang on the walls. Pizzas with many varieties, very good. Good meat and fish dishes with generous portions, accompanied by the complimentary house focaccia (a pizza without mozzarella). Waiters always present and with great attention to the customer. Prices slightly below the average for places in that area, which is why it's always full and it's difficult to find a seat (reservations recommended on weekends). Iconic.

28/05/2025: I had already been to this restaurant and I had a great time. This evening I went back and unfortunately it was not up to par. Poor and uncommunicative service. Tuscan sliced ​​appetizer cut with the slicer and the burrata was little more than a cherry of mozzarella. The pasta was raw, the mussels were very small and without adequate hand towels, the spaghetti with clams and borage were something else compared to those served. The dessert was good. But the lack of attention to customers. I am very sorry but the rating for this dinner is not sufficient.

22/05/2025: Not because they are friends but here you feel at home because the environment is simple like the people who work there. The desserts and pasta are homemade and the desserts are absolutely my favorite part. Personally I always let myself be advised and the meat and fish are always exceptional. Also the pizza is very good otherwise the pizza chef gets offended!

19/05/2025: Lovely food from an extensive menu. Great service from Alam in particular but all the team. Good ambience. We opted for recommendations from Alam both on the food and wine front. Free prosecco and amuse boche added to the overall experience. We visited twice over a long weekend and would definitely return and recommend.

30/04/2025: Very nice restaurant, excellent service with friendly and always helpful staff. We ate spaghetti al cartoccio which was exceptional, the fish main course was also a delicacy. The hot focaccia bread is delicious instead of bread. Fair prices. We will definitely return.

The only slightly negative note concerns the way the meat is served: it is presented on a hot stone which, although spectacular, does not cook it adequately for those who prefer a more advanced cooking. The bill is a bit high, but justified by the quality. Despite the price, we would gladly return.

18/05/2025: With a friend I had dinner at this restaurant in the San Siro area. Here you can find typical Milanese cuisine, above all the saffron risotto with marrow and the ossobuco. The environment is special, all dedicated to horses with photographs and prints hanging on the walls, and a small statue of Ribot in the center of the room. The service is fast and punctual, the price is right

07/05/2025: We decided to try this restaurant because it was well rated, close to our hotel and very inexpensive. Well unfortunately this has to be the worst restaurant we ate at in Italy. The carbonara pasta was served with industrial bacon, on which there was more white fat than red meat. Even the pasta was not up to par because it was overcooked, only the sauce saved the dish. The same goes for the tiramisu which was the least good we were able to try on our two weeks of travel, and we tasted a lot of it! The only positive thing being the price, unbeatable in Milan.

I had carbonara pasta, the sauce was very liquid, the pasta was not fresh and overcooked, as for the bacon, there was more fat than meat. Probably the worst restaurant we visited during our 2 week vacation in Italy.

27/04/2025: Our meal was really incredible. We previewed the menu online, and went in with a plan. For our antipasti, we chose oysters on the half shell. They were Fine de Clare No. 2's served with a red wine and shallot mignonette. Sweet in the front with just a little salt to finish. They present the oysters at the table with dry ice for a visually appealing "smoke show." We paired the oysters with a hot Scallops au Gratin, complete with green breadcrumbs. Not a second overdone! For Primo, we went big and shared the L'Ossobuco Di Vitello in Cremolata E Il Vero Risotto Alla Milanese. This is a staple of Milan cusine, and it was excuted to perfection. We split it, and they did a cool tableside presentation. There's meat was fork tender and loaded with flavor in every bite. For Secondi, we tried two fishes: the special of the day - Salmon served with pickled/ candied red onion and almond slivers. The salmon was butter and tasted soft on the tongue. The second fish was a traditional grilled branzini with small boiled potatoes and asparagus bites. Seasoned only with a little salt and pepper, they let the nature flavor of the fish shine through. We finished with two desserts, an apple tort and a pistachio cream. Both were an excellent end to the evening. Service was flawless. Management has organized a well-oiled machine that works perfectly in synchronization. The place was busy all evening. The main menu is on their website. Check it out. 24/04/2025: Vi opholdt os i 3 dage i Milano og skulle finde os et godt sted at spise aftensmad. Via Tripadvisor fandt vi frem til Osteria Mamma Roso, som ikke lå langt fra hvor vi boede. Det var en stor flot og hyggelig restaurant. Restauranten var velbesøgt, så vi måtte ventelidt inden vi fik et bord til 2. Da vi fik vores bord serverede tjeneren en lille "vente ret" og et menukort. Vi bestilte mad - vinen kunne bestilles i halve flasker, Maden vi bestilte kom relativt hurtigt og blev serveret af en dygtig tjener. Super oplevelse på alle måder. Da vi tog derfra bestilte vi bord til næste aften også
