26/08/2025: We celebrated a birthday with ten of us. The service was prompt and friendly. The quality is always top-notch, and we were all satisfied. Excellent value. It's always our go-to place for any event or when we don't feel like cooking.

14/08/2025: We tried the appetizer and first course. The shrimp tartare appetizer on a bed of Bronte pistachios and sun-dried tomatoes was simply fabulous. The spaghetti with clams and bottarga was also very good. Honestly, the wine list is a bit pricey, with barely two or three white wines under €30.

07/07/2025: Nice atmosphere, very friendly owner, excellent service and excellent cuisine. We ate quality fish. Two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts, water and a bottle of wine at a fair price. Excellent value for money. I will definitely return. Recommended place.

The wine list is excellent. Laura and the staff are top-notch. The location is enchanting. Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant.

14/08/2025: Well, it's no longer the mermaid it once was—extensive service, accommodating waiters, quick cleanup—but why, on top of the hefty bill, do they have to make up for the stomach ache, to say the least? It used to be more spartan, less well-stocked, with the feel of an old-fashioned trattoria, and in fact, you'd gladly return.

05/09/2025: I visited this place three days in a row during my stay in Milan. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the waiters are wonderful. The chef works wonders. Fantastic pizza and seafood! I recommend it to everyone and I'm sad I have to go home already. I'll definitely be back! 👏

04/09/2025: A wonderful place for family dinners. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly and polite. We had a lovely evening. The foreign waiter and the guy making the pizzas were super kind. The pizza was top-notch.

03/07/2025: The fish is not bad, but a bit crafty ... in the sense that the menu does not correspond completely, let me explain: taken appetizer fan ok it says minimum for 2 price € 28, you have to specify it to me then that it is each when paying I find myself € 56 (more than a second course, come on too excessive), also because for € 28 I do not want to find scallop shell with other fish inside, poor tuna tartare and mussels so-so. And also fried imperial there should have been prawns, one prawn arrived ... like this it is not nice, I do not like these games, I did not complain because I will not return anyway

15/07/2025: Great, warm atmosphere. The food is just amazing. The waiter recommended the wine and it was perfect for the dishes that we chose from the menu. If we are back in Milano one day, we will definitely go to the restaurant again.

27/07/2025: Strolling through the streets of the town...we found ourselves in front of this beautiful place that seems stuck in the past...full of objects reminiscent of years gone by...we were greeted by a very kind, smiling lady who showed us inside...the menu was written on a hand-written blackboard...and many dishes were carefully prepared, right from the description...we had fillet cooked in port reduction...and tuna steak with soy sauce and avocado reduction...accompanied by lemongrass... ...so much, so much!!!! Highly recommended...especially the herb liqueur. Congratulations to all the staff... See you soon

23/07/2025: Vado in questo ristorante da quando sono piccola e negli anni si, ma molti, visto che io ne ho 44, la gestione è cambiata, ma è migliorata, lo staff è professionale, gentile, cordiale, ti fidelizzano, si mangia molto bene, qualità eccellente, e visto che errare è umano se anche loro come tutti prendono un granchio con educazione, umiltà e celerità rimediano. Mi duole davvero leggere recensioni gratuitamente cattive e palesemente non veritiere, poichè il loro contenuto non rispecchia la realtà. Qui si mangia non bene, ma benissimo e lo staff, GIANLUCA sopratutto merita un grande plauso.

12/08/2025: I tried this Belgian-inspired restaurant when it opened way back in 2006. Apart from a few waiters, everything has remained the same... the mussels, beer, and of course the fries are excellent.

04/08/2025: This time I'll start from the end, because I gave 4 stars and not 5 to the food. The dessert is definitely questionable, I'm referring to the Gouffre, almost inedible and (personally I took the Nutella one) poor, indeed very poor, of chocolate. As for the rest, i.e. the shank and mussels, nothing to say, overall good. The place is very nice and well-kept and the staff is kind and prepared.
