A refined and elegant experience, excellent food and service...we savored the Lunch time menu with 3 truly delicious courses...the place is also really beautiful, I live not far away but I had never been there...super recommended!!

Sublime. Historic haute cuisine restaurant. Returned in January on one of those gloomy days in Lombardy. On a weekday during the lunch break. I ordered the 30 euro Lunch Time menu available from Tuesday to Friday, with three courses chosen by chef Maurizio Gerola. What can I say... An absolute sensory experience. Starting from the appetizer: an egg cooked at low temperature with Jerusalem artichoke cream and raw ham powder: exquisite. The main dish offered that day was Sardinian fregola risottata (cooked like a risotto) with anchovy mayonnaise: 10 and praise. Finally, the 30 euro menu of the day offered a dessert of a soft pumpkin cream with vanilla sauce and a sheet of bitter chocolate, very good. We paid little more than in a restaurant and ate like a king, like a starred restaurant

Location molto suggestiva, ristorante storico, molto curato. Cucina raffinata e innovativa con molti prodotti del territorio. Servizio eccellente. Abbiamo provato il menù degustazione che ci ha decisamente soddisfatto Torneremo sicuramente

Il posto, con la piazzetta alberata, l'antica statua, il ponte sul Naviglio, continua a mantenere il suo grande fascino: se poi venite in una sera d'inverno con una leggera nebbiolina il quadro pittoresco è perfetto. L'interno del locale non è da meno: piccole salette, soffitto in legno, grande camino, atmosfera del passato, sobria eleganza. Il servizio è cordiale e inappuntabile. A questo punto il cibo potrebbe anche essere solo un corollario. In realtà la cucina, che si ispira alla tradizione con moderata creatività, è buona. Ho assaggiato il menù degustazione (6 portate a 75€): era molto apprezzabile e con sapori sapientemente equilibrati (anche se un po' più di grinta gustativa non sarebbe guastata). Interessante la lista dei vini. In definitiva questo è un locale che mi rimarrà nel cuore e penso possa essere molto adatto per portarci chi, straniero, sia curioso di conoscere il sottile fascino di certa campagna lombarda.

30/03/2024: We went last night with a couple of friends and we were amazed by the great quality of the food, the attention to details, and the outstanding customer service experience provided by Fabrizio, the host. The seafood is fresh and tasty. And the seafood carbonara lived up the expectations and beyond... Moreover one of us is celiac and here he has found many great options and a super handmade focaccia instead of regular bread. Highly recommended it. We will be back for sure. Thank you Fabrizio and team.

24/02/2024: In the Lambrate area, the best fish restaurant, high quality crudités and second courses, elegant and relaxed intimate environment, perfect for special occasions but also for a midweek dinner where you want to pamper yourself a little. Very kind and welcoming staff. Perfect for a romantic dinner with your partner. Places like this are difficult to find and once found it is natural to return and want to feel at home.
21/02/2024: Tried it a while ago. The restaurant is located in a small and very picturesque street in the Cimiano district. The place is very nice and also has a nice outdoor terrace where I had dinner. This garden can be reached by taking a few steps on a nice glass pane that gives a glimpse of a well-stocked cellar. The dinner was exclusively based on fish, which is the specialty of the restaurant. Among the dishes tried, I would like to point out some good seafood and octopus salads, an excellent scallop au gratin, a fantastic dish of Venere rice creamed with cream, balsamic vinegar, sea asparagus and prawns, a good salmon fillet and a fantastic cod tartare of the Atlantic (or Pacific?...I don't remember correctly!) served with capers. The first, which we split, was an exceptional dish! Fantastic spaghetti alla guitar with bottarga. Finally we shared a good baked San Pietro with asparagus. Very good. I consider the bill slightly salty, but the quality of the fish and the preparations makes it absolutely acceptable.
