13/08/2024: Old customers of the Plinio group for many years...excellent food, clean environment but the service disappointed us...after paying a bill for 11 people, charging for 3 grappas rather than offering them seemed absurd to me, it had never happened to us anywhere occasion ..😞

19/08/2024: Frequentiamo Gravedona da 25 anni io e la mia famiglia e con la nuova gestione di questo ristorante (ormai da 3 anni) siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti! Abbinamenti particolari e perfetti, materie prime fresche, insomma nulla da dire. Personale molto cortese. La cosa più piacevole è che hanno portato i piatti tutti insieme!! Consigliatissimo

12/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questyo locale perchè consigliatoci ed è stato subito un innamoramento da prenderlo come tappa fissa. Riso al Persico sublime, antipasti spettacolari, pesce alla griglia ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

30/07/2024: Accoglienza familiare, servizio impeccabile ed educato, personale molto vicino al cliente, attento al tavolo dosando bene la discrezione. Quella presenza costante ma non invadente. Cibo molto buono e raffinato. Sapori intensi. Prezzo in linea con ciò che si è mangiato. Fantastico. Andateci. Io ci ritornerò.

07/07/2024: Un tuffo in Grecia . Piatti ottimi , sia freddi che caldi. Tutto molto buono . Personale / titolare molto gentile , educato e professionale . Spiegazione accurata dei piatti, sia al momento dell’ ordinazione e sia nel momento in cui ti portano in tavola le pietanze . Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Lo consiglio , è molto bello far sentire il cliente coccolato .

13/08/2024: Midweek lunch: very friendly and knowledgeable staff. More than decent choice of dishes. Both starters were made with fresh fish. Spaghetti without exaggerating. Phenomenal. Excellent choice of wines and prices in line with the type of dishes.

16/08/2024: Nice place in a strategic point of Porto Cesareo...mediocre pizza but one particular negative note is on the wait staff obviously not all...but for the older ones yes!!! They should learn to be more polite because rudeness reigns.

31/08/2024: I've stayed in so many hotels through Italy, and this has to be the worst. As a solo traveller, I am used to paying the same cost as others sharing a room. Firstly, Hotel Silvo put me in the only disabled access room in the hotel - when I booked a double room with a balcony - not the disabled room. Secondly, the drain in the shower was blocked, which I discovered while showering. This resulted in standing in disgusting drain water that pooled in the shower floor. Thirdly, as the room is for disabled access, the shower had a very minimal lip. With the water pooling in the base, it leaked all over the bathroom and out to the bedroom. Fourthly, the only powerpoint with the plug that fits the adapters, was on the floor outside the bathroom. With the water running into to bedroom, all my electronics which were charging got wet. Fifthly, I tried to call the hotel from the phone next to the bed, inly to discover, the phone was not working. Sixthly, I reported to reception the next morning, who was very nice and helpful. However, she couldn't give me another room as the hotel was fully booked. I requested a refund, as this was not the room I paid for and all the drama with the room. Reception asked her manager to which the answer was no, they offered me a free pass to go to the 10 euro beach next door. And lastly, there are no hangers to hang towels, so had to use the shower rail. As the drain is a health and safety issue, as well as not the room I booked, a refund should be expected. Absolutely would never stay here again.

18/08/2024: Hotel Silvio is in a good location, walkable to the town of Bellagio within 20 minutes. Room was clean with great view to Lake Como at a great value. Breakfast was decent enough, it could have used better quality pastry and bread. Service was ok, except for one reception person who called me out on refilling a bottle out of the freezer water offered at reception, she said that was only a welcome drink that were supposed to drink that water only at arrival, which is kinda weird given it’s tap water jug with some lemon and mint. Bedding and bathroom could be upgraded a bit. Note that the restaurant doesn’t offer dinner, just some small menu items. overall, we enjoyed it.

16/08/2024: It’s a very nice, tiny place. Service is nice, food too. Not sure why it’s marked as expensive. It’s not. At all. Portions are small though. Full of foreigners. The only con is that expectations are so high due to their stellar reputation that it’s basically impossible for them to live up to them 🙃.

30/08/2024: After calling to ask for some information about a reservation I was immediately convinced. I convinced myself that it was better to book elsewhere. Unfortunately I can only confirm the reviews that complain about the rudeness and discourtesy of the staff at reception. The director should perhaps check more carefully how the reception staff manages relationships with current and potential customers.

29/08/2024: Unbeatable stay with my partner at the Miralago Hotel. Excellent location and spectacular breakfast. Without a doubt, our favorite hotel on Lago di Como.

29/07/2024: Vista d’effetto su villa Erba. Esperienza complessiva non buona. Musica pesante fino al tramonto dove sarebbe stato gradito abbassare i toni permettendo di rilassarsi . Peraltro presenza fortemente imbarazzante di personaggi grotteschi e ambigui che disturbavano i presenti passando di lettino in lettino e senza telo personale. Non va bene signori! Non si arriva fino a Cernobbio vista dimore nobiliari per trascorrere ore cosi

28/07/2024: Non e' possibile mangiare una pizza margherita di pessima qualita' (probabilmente surgelata) e pagarla 18 euro. Una vergogna, bisognerebbe fare una denuncia, un furto.
