11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more!
We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

04/03/2026: Prices are too high for the size of the portions and the service. The location is beautiful, in the piazza overlooking the lake. The flavors are good, but the portions are too small. €89 for lunch includes an appetizer and two main courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine.
28/02/2026: Nice location, good food, very high prices. We recommend sitting outside whenever possible.

26/11/2025: It will never change 🤦😡 I've seen so many managers pass by!!! The pizza is a disaster! Oven always off, wait 30 minutes, and there's no one there! As long as we eat if there are no customers, spicy salami and ham pizza🤦 never change😡 the mozzarella is put after the tomato!!!!!¡🤦🤦🤦😡 No!!! The gold first they add the toppings then lastly mozzarella and basil! My salami not crunchy, ham, raw.. and not cooked, as Neapolitan tradition says!!!! But it's possible!!!!! 🤦😡😡😡 Oh well, it's been 20 years since I've been back......... Another 20 will pass, .PS. then I didn't eat it all, after 4 hours I reheat it, BRICK!!!!🤦😡 change jobs? No? 🤝 Best wishes!!!! Now I wonder why it's always empty! 🤦😂

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.
08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

01/03/2026: I woke up wanting to have lunch alone, and only one place came to mind: Osteria Hellera.
It's my third time having lunch here, and it's always a discovery.
I love this little place; it's intimate and the food is excellent, especially freshwater fish.
The service was impeccable, even though the waitress was alone, but she managed everything perfectly!
I can't wait to go back.
31/12/2025: Passing by, we stopped for lunch at this Hostaria, where we were greeted with a warm smile and were very friendly. Parking was very convenient, the restaurant was beautiful and characteristic. We
had lunch on the veranda overlooking the
lake. The menu was excellent and the selection wide, the service excellent, with just the right interval between the first and second courses.
The price was reasonable. We will definitely stop by as soon as we have the chance. Recommended.

03/11/2025: A very nice place for an aperitivo near the lake. It's located right on the square, with a lovely atmosphere and fair prices. The food is also good, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment.
12/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, but nothing special. They bring you two chips and then offer you an additional platter for €6.
But I'd say with 6-7 people having an aperitivo, it's a minimum to bring something to eat... well...

21/03/2026: 3.5ish stars for this restaurant is not fair, the experience, food, and wine was top notch and came out quick. All around great experience and food.
17/03/2026: We paid 23 euros for an aperitivo for two. The price wasn't a problem, but when we asked for something vegan—chips, olives, or just bread—the answer was no! We didn't have anything vegan! Too bad there was a nice basket full of bread on the next table. So they let us drink without bringing anything! A classic tourist-ripping place! Don't sit down!

23/11/2025: I stayed in room 106 for two nights. The hotel was excellent and clean, the room was clean, and the staff, Mahmoud (Egyptian) and Suzi (Tunisian), were friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. It's conveniently located near the city center, overlooks the lake, and is next to the metro and bus stations, and opposite a Carrefour supermarket.
09/11/2025: It is hard to believe that a gorgonzola hotel exist in Italy and this one is vecchio borgo.
I stayed in 102 room and the smell of mold was terrible. I slept with the window open widly, even outside were 10 degree.
Terrible hotel, should be closed because is insanely dangerous to health.
Never again there.

Principalmente locales comiendo con sus familias un sábado por la noche.
