03/01/2026: Paid 20 euros more per person for New Year's Eve for the reason of New Year's Eve service, what services apart from the TV on, there was nothing, absurd prices 400 euros for a pizza, 2 focaccias, 2 starters, 2 first courses and 4 ice creams,
01/01/2026: I hated giving the atmosphere two stars, but it's not nice to see people crowded together inside, with staff slaloming around trays to avoid a disaster. An even worse point are the dirty bathrooms, with no soap at the sink or toilet paper (maybe I bought the wrong one).
The prices are quite high, justified by the spectacular location and the many foreign tourists who are incompetent in the kitchen and eager to leave generous tips. On a positive note, however, are the waiters and the outdoor area, which is truly spectacular. I also appreciated the heaters and blankets at the tables.
For me, being local, it's definitely a place to stop for a coffee.

04/10/2025: A small restaurant in the heart of Lenno, with good Italian cuisine at high prices. Although the food was good, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the price/performance ratio. No pasta dish was under €20, a beer was €8 (only "special"). A small appetizer, bread was not fresh. A cover was €4 per person.
The kitchen door was constantly open, which was a distraction on a quiet evening. Overall, a lot of money was wasted for a rather disappointing evening (although the food was tasty).

21/09/2025: We were guests at the hotel and were out cycling – the couple was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful! We offered a free aperitif in the restaurant and even a small breakfast. Great!!!

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.
08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

03/11/2025: A very nice place for an aperitivo near the lake. It's located right on the square, with a lovely atmosphere and fair prices. The food is also good, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment.
12/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, but nothing special. They bring you two chips and then offer you an additional platter for €6.
But I'd say with 6-7 people having an aperitivo, it's a minimum to bring something to eat... well...

31/12/2025: Passing by, we stopped for lunch at this Hostaria, where we were greeted with a warm smile and were very friendly. Parking was very convenient, the restaurant was beautiful and characteristic. We
had lunch on the veranda overlooking the
lake. The menu was excellent and the selection wide, the service excellent, with just the right interval between the first and second courses.
The price was reasonable. We will definitely stop by as soon as we have the chance. Recommended.
09/12/2025: Bad experience, terrible lamb chops (more fat than meat and raw). We ordered a mixed platter of cured meats and cheese, served very cold. What's more, when we turned over the slice of cheese, we discovered a surprise: mold, which we reported to the waitress. The red wine was cold. Total: €88, discounted to €85 due to the mix-up with the moldy cheese. Of course, it's okay to have a bad day, but serving the cheese with hidden mold, revealing the good side, seemed like a gesture of bad faith towards the customer. It would have looked better if they'd offered us a amaro.

20/01/2026: The view over the lake was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, which really made the experience feel special. The staff were generally polite, the one who received us was attentive; however, the service was unfortunately very slow, taking more than an hour. On top of that, they seem to overcharge tourists by adding service taxes, and the food itself was not tasty and quite disappointing for the price.
17/01/2026: Not sure about rooms,( maybe someone made a mistake ?) but the Risotto and Lasagna were delicious. Place in front of the ferry terminal so easy to reach and enjoy the view.

23/11/2025: I stayed in room 106 for two nights. The hotel was excellent and clean, the room was clean, and the staff, Mahmoud (Egyptian) and Suzi (Tunisian), were friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. It's conveniently located near the city center, overlooks the lake, and is next to the metro and bus stations, and opposite a Carrefour supermarket.
09/11/2025: It is hard to believe that a gorgonzola hotel exist in Italy and this one is vecchio borgo.
I stayed in 102 room and the smell of mold was terrible. I slept with the window open widly, even outside were 10 degree.
Terrible hotel, should be closed because is insanely dangerous to health.
Never again there.
