03/06/2025: Hotel Silvio is above all a hotel with a wonderful view and wonderful service. Mrs. Marta incredibly open and helpful in every matter. Practical advice on sightseeing in the area and not only. Clean rooms, cleaned every day. The restaurant served delicious breakfasts, the service helpful, open and unobtrusive. We will definitely come back here with the whole family.

11/05/2025: Ieri sera passeggiando per le vie di Como , avendo una necessità fisica urgente sono entrato in questo bellissimo ristorante che non conoscevo. Oggi quando ti succede di chiedere subito dei servizi igienici , in troppi ristoranti ti fanno sentire in difetto . Addirittura ci sono quelli che ti dicono che non è la stazione e che prima bisogna consumare ! Bene qui invece hanno ben chiaro la loro missione . Pertanto ho ordinato 2 calici di Franciacorta , servizio impeccabile , ottima temperatura del Franciacorta , bicchiere perfetto il tutto accompagnato da stuzzichi . In seguito visto che eravamo a nostro agio , decidiamo di fermarci anche a cena , anche se i troppi aperitivi l'avevano già compromessa . Consulto allora il Menù ... e quante sorprese Decido per una Catalana e chiedo se è possibile condividerla in quanto il nostro appetito era compromesso. Assolutamente sì mi dicono ... ecco questo è quello che le persone si aspettano !!! Non usciamo di casa per sopraffate , ma con la speranza di vivere un'esperienza! La Catalana la definisco " Catalana modera " qui qualche consiglio sarebbe necessario anche se devo ammettere che la cottura dei crostacei era perfetta . In conclusione ringrazio tutto lo Staff .. avanti così ragazzi. E voi ... cosa aspettate ad andare a provare ?

23/03/2025: Posto molto bello e alcuni ambienti anche intimi. Servizio buono. Cucina molto buona. Specialmente il polpo in antipasto. Tartare al tartufo un po' meno, in effetti non è piú stagione di tartufo. Peccato veramente il prezzo del calice di Sauvignon bianco, inaspettato e fuori testa. Siam rimasti male

25/04/2025: Die bestellten Speisen waren von einer sehr schlechten Qualität und äußerst lieblos angerichtet. Als Gast hat man das Gefühl man stört obwohl das Restaurant kaum besucht war. Toiletten sehr schmutzig.Restaurant lebt wohl von seiner schönen Lage am See.

08/03/2025: Am 7. März durch Zufall diese nette, etwas versteckt am See liegende Restaurant gefunden. Die direkt am See, in der Sonne liegende Terrasse mit traumhafter Aussicht, läd zum verweilen ein. Eine ausgewogene Speisekarte mit, trotz der nahen Schweiz, normalen Preisen. Die von uns bestellten Gerichte waren alle von sehr guter Qualität. Ein super freundliches Personal rundete den Aufenthalt ab. Einzigster Kritikpunkt; die sanitären Einrichtung könnte besser sein. 02/10/2024: Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Breakfast is good enough. It costs a lot, but you pay mostly for the view.

06/05/2025: This was a very disappointing experience. The service was poor, as the waiter never checked in with us about anything. The food was just okay; the pasta was fine but the fish was very dry. It’s a quaint place with potential but they need to improve their food and service.

29/06/2025: It combines sophistication and relaxation with modern decor and spectacular views of Lake Como. The terrace is a highlight, very welcoming. The raw meats here are delicious. And the tiramisu is a star. Variety of cocktails. It's not cheap.

28/09/2024: Premetto che questa mia recensione si riferisce alla mia (ultima) esperienza in questa pizzeria datata 27/07/2024. Parlando della qualità della pizza: decisamente più bassa rispetto alle altre volte che l'avevo presa, in quanto è venuta bruciata in vari punti, troppo croccante e con poco condimento, dunque bocciata rispetto al passato (perché ERO cliente fisso, una volta ogni 7/10 gg). E già questo, basterebbe per giustificare 1 stella. Ma il motivo di questa mia recensione è un altro, perché può capitare a chiunque di sbagliare una volta una pizza. Ebbene, la 4 formaggi bianca in questa pizzeria costa 8.50€, avendola già presa più volte come detto nelle settimane e mesi precedenti. Quel fatidico 27/07/2024 arrivo alle 19 circa (apertura pizzeria, quindi ero solo io) per prendermela da asporto e mangiarla a casa. Nel frattempo pago, e fornisco in CONTANTI 15 euro (una banconota da 10 e una da 5) al proprietario Sig. Arturo (il quale, a differenza delle altre volte, non dice neanche il prezzo da pagare), per pagare la mia pizza di 8.50. Errore mio, perché se una cosa costa 8.50, perché devo dare 15 euro (10+5)? Non bastava dare la banconota da 10? Ripeto, errore mio, ero sovrappensiero e stanco perché avevo avuto una giornata lavorativa di quasi 11 ore. Detto questo, il sig. Arturo mi dà come resto 2.50 euro a moneta (quindi ho pagato la pizza 12.50). Lì per lì penso che nel giro di 10 giorni la pizza è aumentata di 4 euro (da 8.50 a 12.50), molto strano direi. Comunque, prendo la pizza (brutta e non venuta bene) e la mangio a casa. Un'oretta dopo circa, per curiosità, vado a vedere lo scontrino, e vedo che è riportato che la pizza è stata pagata 8.50, e non effettivamente 12.50 (15 da me forniti a cui vanno sottratti i 2.50 di resto che mi ha dato). Al che mi arrabbio, e molto. In un primo momento penso, per giustificare Arturo, che non ha visto la banconota da 5 che gli ho dato (comunque impossibile, perché quando era alla casa e gli ho dato le due banconote, le ha riposte entrambe ed ha esitato un attimo nello scegliere il resto da darmi, come sorpreso dalla mia mossa) e che mi ha dato il resto come se io gli avessi fornito solo 10 euro. In realtà, anche questa mia ipotesi è falsa, perché allora avrebbe dovuto darmi 1.50 euro di resto, e non 2.50, come invece ha fatto. Ciò significa che è stato tutto volontario e studiato. Ecco quindi configurata la "furbata" (per non adoperare altri termini molto più pesanti ma adatti). Ma non è finita qui. Perché in fondo allo scontrino è riportato "pagamento mediante bancomat". Ecco, come già ho detto sopra, il tutto è invece avvenuto con pagamento tramite contanti. Ancora a testimonianza della volontarietà e coscienza della furbata che il sig. Arturo ha fatto nei miei confronti. Il tutto, specifichiamo, per guadagnare 4 euro in più su una 4 formaggi bianca di un cliente. 4 euro. Una pizzeria storica e rinomata di Como. Mi sembra quantomeno assurdo ed inspiegabile, sempre per non adoperare altri termini. Io poi non sono ritornato a chiedere spiegazioni al sig. Arturo, scontrino alla mano, inerenti il pagamento della pizza, sia perche un'ora dopo, secondo me, non avrebbe avuto senso, sia perché per 4 euro non vado fallito (invece a qualcuno sembra che facciano più che comodo....). In conclusione, è ovvio che non tornerò mai più in questa pizzeria, sia per la storia assurda che ho appena raccontato, sia perché comunque al di là di tutto, la qualità pizza le ultime volte era veramente calata. Il sig. Arturo ha guadagnato 4 euro in più una volta, ma ha perso un cliente fisso (sono sicuro che non ci dormirà la notte sul fatto di aver perso un cliente come me), il quale diffonderà questa storia in giro e metterà una cattivissima parola sulla pizzeria e sulla persona.

22/03/2025: Purtroppo nonostante la cucina sia di buon livello, il servizio non è stato per nulla soddisfacente, dopo un ora la focaccia con lardo e la tagliata per mio figlio non erano stati ancora serviti, chiedendo spiegazioni ci hanno semplicemente detto che il locale era pieno e serviva tempo. Gnocchi con panna e prosciutto d'oca buoni ma del prosciutto nemmeno traccia. Nonostante il disagio manifestato con gentilezza nemmeno un euro di sconto per il disagio. Con grande rammarico posso affermare che non tornerò più.

02/06/2025: Nous avons vécu une expérience extrêmement décevante dans cet établissement. Après avoir réglé l’addition, nous avons constaté que le montant prélevé sur la carte bancaire était largement supérieur à celui initialement dû. L’un des employés avait ajouté, sans notre consentement, un pourboire équivalent au prix total du repas. Lorsque nous avons tenté de comprendre ce qu’il s’était passé, on a essayé de nous faire porter la responsabilité, avec de nombreuses excuses peu convaincantes. L’employé a même tenté à plusieurs reprises de m’arracher des mains le ticket de carte indiquant le montant payé. Le gérant est alors intervenu… pour finalement jeter violemment le TPE qui a explosé sous le choc. Nous avons fini par être remboursés en espèces. Il est à noter que, dès le début, le personnel insistait pour que le paiement soit effectué en liquide. Au-delà de cet incident inacceptable, la qualité des plats laissait à désirer. Les pizzas commandées étaient ridicules, loin des standards que l’on peut attendre en Italie. Le service était également très lent : nous avons attendu un long moment avant qu’un serveur ne vienne prendre notre commande. En résumé, une expérience à la fois déroutante et décevante, tant sur le plan culinaire que sur le plan éthique. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement.

01/06/2025: Nous avons été très déçus par notre expérience dans ce restaurant. La pizza était moyenne et, pour couronner le tout, le restaurateur nous a demandé de payer en espèces, ce qui n'était pas possible pour nous. Nous avons donc payé par carte bancaire et avons remarqué que le montant a été doublé sur le reçu. Le restaurateur nous a donné une explication rocambolesque, prétendant que le deuxième montant était le code de notre carte, ce qui est totalement absurde. Nous avons dû insister pour obtenir un remboursement, et il s'est énervé, allant jusqu'à exploser le terminal de paiement contre le mur. Finalement, nous avons réussi à nous faire rembourser, mais cette expérience a été limite traumatisante. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce restaurant.

06/06/2025: You can breathe and the family atmosphere, exquisite food, both the kitchen and the pizzeria. Courteous, professional and friendly staff. Rich menu both in the land and sea section, very wide choice of pizzas. Highly recommended.

03/06/2025: Informal and familiar place. The space is medium-sized, the kitchen is open and also the wood oven for gluten-free pizza made by them. Simple and convivial mise en place, excellent for a pizza with friends and family. Place suitable for celiacs, they have gluten-free chips and in fact dedicated pizza with a dedicated oven. Very appreciable the fact that the gluten-free pizza is made to perfection and also very good, as well as the offer of desserts with and without gluten. We ate very well, even the normal pizza is very nicely presented. I can only recommend this pizzeria especially for the quality price and the welcome and the service that remains informal but attentive and not invasive. We will return! Unfortunately I did not take photos of the gluten-free pizza because we ate it immediately but I assure you it is worth it.

21/06/2025: We were at this bar on Thursday night, we arrived and asked for a table which was given to us immediately. We ordered after about 10 minutes. After waiting for over an hour without even a drink arriving, a waiter (very kind and mortified) showed up to tell us that the boss had decided to suspend the service, without warning and without any consideration for those who were already seated. We pointed out that we had ordered an hour ago and that at least a bottle of water would have been the minimum, also considering the heat. Unfortunately, the waiter came back to tell us that it was not possible because the boss had decided to suspend the service and that we would not be served anything else, not even water. The situation was handled very badly and in an absolutely unprofessional way, especially considering that other tables that arrived after us (more numerous) were instead served regularly. It seems that attention was paid only to the larger groups, completely ignoring customers like us. The only positive note goes to Cameron, the waiter, who with education and respect tried to manage an absurd situation, even taking the customers' complaints for no fault of his. He should be given 5 stars, the place unfortunately only one (and even too much). Running a bar in such a beautiful and touristy place like Cernobbio should be done out of passion, which evidently isn't there considering the lack of interest and care towards the customer, but considering the answers given when we pointed out the situation I don't think it's a problem for the owner to receive reviews of this type, from locals and tourists.

13/06/2025: Great place, shame about the service that leaves a bit to be desired… (Scene that happened before my eyes: the waiter throws a piece of paper, jokingly to his colleague, and so far everything is okay Too bad it will never be picked up, remaining in the middle of the avenue. Too bad to make such a mess around…they are small things but the education and good image of the staff in such a touristic and renowned area must be there!)
