07/03/2024: Dopo aver prenotato una cena per 20 persone, fissata per il giorno 1 marzo, e concordato prezzo e menù, la sera prima (29 febbraio) mi viene inviato il messaggio "Buonasera, per domani sera come rimaniamo?" a cui rispondo di chiamarmi per farmi chiarire il significato del messaggio. Non sono stato mai richiamato e solo alle 14,46 del 1 marzo mi arriva il messaggio "Non riusciamo". Magari si mangia bene ma certo non ci torno mai più! (recatomi il giorno stesso al ristorante, è risultato chiuso e irraggiungibile sia al telefono fisso che al cellulare).

25/02/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo posto visto che negli anni passati ne parlavano molto bene, anche se abbiamo sentito dire che è un po' peggiorato ultimamente. Forti del nostro sconto del 20% con TheFork, abbiamo comunque deciso di dargli una chance. La sala è anche bellina, e il servizio è molto cordiale, ma purtroppo sul cibo non ci siamo: solo un piatto su quattro è stato gradito (l'ottimo tortino di zucca con fiori di zucca fritti). Per il resto: pane scongelato male (la mollica era ancora fredda, ma già il fatto che fosse scongelato è una nota di demerito), antipasto misto di mare tristarello, senza nessun sapore convincente e con accostamenti poco azzeccati (con il pesce metterei una polenta bianca più pregiata rispetto a quella normale gialla); tortelli di zucca mantovani completamente scotti, tanto che non avevano forma e nel piatto tantissimi erano appiccicati l'uno all'altro, con il ripieno assente; buona invece la cottura dei ravioli di branzino, peccato che la salsa al basilico fosse salatissima, creando quindi un totale squilibrio di sapori nel piatto. E di salato c'è stato anche il conto, decisamente molto più alto rispetto alla qualità di quanto mangiato. Purtroppo confermiamo le voci: questo ristorante non è più quello di una volta.

13/07/2024: Excellent bar, excellent aperitifs Splendid staff We took 2 soft drinks, they served them super colorful with a nice slice of 🍍, and some exotic fruits on the toothpick. A tray with 2 bowls of pasta, focaccias, sandwiches, pizza rolls and appetizers at will In short, don't have dinner anymore...dinner is served!! And at a reasonable price If you try it, you will definitely come back I highly recommend it..

Noi abbiamo scelto il menù senza sapere quali fossero i piatti penso che fosse il menù da €130,00 . Ottimo anche il pane ed i pre antipasti.Ottima carta dei vini . Servizio al livello del ristorante. Da consigliare

10/06/2024: I have been going there every now and then for lunch for several years, often accompanied by guests and every time I receive consensus on both the quality of the food and that of the wine. At lunch there is a simpler menu than dinner which offers salads of your choice and then a series of first and second courses that are always original and of excellent quality. Among the desserts not to be missed is the zuccotto, a calorie bomb of sponge cake and cream covered in melted chocolate: every now and then you can and it is a delight for the palate!

04/06/2024: Dovendo arrivare a Selvino, siamo arrivati verso le 13 alla partenza della funivia. L'appetito era molto ed abbiamo notato il ristorante da Balì. Siamo entrati e ci ha accolto il gentile proprietario Eugenio. L'interno del ristorante davvero bello e pulitissimo ma il meglio doveva arrivare, ovvero piatti gustosissimi dove non sono mancati i tradizionalissimi casoncelli, per noi Genovesi una squisita novità. Le porzioni abbondanti e il conto davvero onesto. Se eventualmente ripasseremo da lì, il ristorante Balì sarà una sosta inevitabile.

17/08/2024: Small Italian place ! I got lucky when I find it ! I always try to go local places not the tourists places ! And this is the one No speaks English - only 2 going staff. They even asked us ! How you find us ! The wine is great there ! Never ever try to eat there without trying their list of wine ! Not much beer ! But wine for sure ! We ordered vege pizza ! Was not so great Also whole fish ! Lobster and spaghetti! The lobster was amazing and my son loved it and the fish was good ! I rather if they have the option for grilled fish The server there her name is Aurora and she was amazing ! We liked her all as a family ! She was checking one us and see if we needed anything ! She is a gem and she speaks very good English and saved our lives ( they don't have English menu ) I recommend that they have at least one English menu To have more grilled fish options And I totally recommend it -however, it's little more pricy than the usual type of places ! For the pizza I had better than that!

20/08/2024: Today, we enjoyed an excellent lunch: a first course with well-purged clams and a second course of turkey strips with a delicious balsamic vinegar reduction. We have rediscovered the flavors of genuine cuisine.

15/07/2024: Having read the reviews, perhaps I happened upon the moment when the chef who cooked for all of you was not in the kitchen, I have worked in catering for 19 years and I can allow myself to say that the chef that evening had no experience. Terrible pizza, grossly seasoned and rubbery, the large fried fish at Nerone, absolutely poor in product and cooking. For us it's a no. Good for you if you enjoyed good food. For the rest, good atmosphere and welcome. I often give my compliments to chefs who deserve it, unfortunately not here.

22/08/2024: I stayed one night with my partner because we were returning to QC TERME (so the night was not planned). We enter and ask for the room. Yes booking I see it at 94 euros with breakfast. At reception I was offered the cheapest standard one at 100 euros with breakfast. For a few euros I'm not even going to say anything. Terrible second floor room!!! Very old! Head of the bed that seems to come off at any moment, doors that don't close completely so light comes in all night (full of cobwebs), 50's bathroom (I had never seen the knobs attached to the wall in the shower). Power socket used for the fan... It was impossible for me to close the door while my partner managed but there is still a 5 cm gap open at the bottom left. The terrible breakfast. The night before I stayed in a two star hotel nearby spending 80 euros with breakfast with much newer, cleaner rooms and a stellar breakfast. The reception is new but don't be fooled by that.

18/08/2024: We were surprised when we arrived in our room: dilapidated despite the very modern photos on various reservation sites and that of the hotel. The reception and the 1st floor have been renovated, but not the 2nd. On top of that, the bedroom door didn't close properly. Bathroom of a decent size but very impractical, no place to put your belongings and little light. The shower was very small. No air conditioning, no fan provided. Our room overlooked the street so we couldn't sleep with the windows open and got very hot. The parking lot is very small, there are only a few places to park. Positive points: - Despite its very dated style, the room was clean. - The location next to the thermal baths, very pleasant setting. - The pastry shop offers good cakes. Fine for one night, but no more.
