02/02/2026: I have nothing to complain, very modern and clean hotel, good breakfast (Croissant, Serials, eggs, bread, fruit, ... good variety) price, all at a very reasonable price. A supermarket is located just 50 meters next to it.

04/10/2025: During the work week, we can't wait for Fridays to arrive so we can dine at this excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, the food, whatever you order, is excellent, and the value is superb! Not to mention the cocktails and wine selection, which are truly delicious, always accompanied by generous appetizers! We often come here just for an aperitif...or rather, two, impossible not to order seconds! All the waiters are extremely kind and attentive, and the owners are always cheerful and cheerful, making all their customers feel at ease!

14/11/2025: Courteous waiters, modest atmosphere, but I go to a restaurant to eat, so: I give the octopus appetizer a passing grade, the paccheri with seafood ragu a failing grade. The smell was unpleasant, and you could clearly tell from the taste that it wasn't a recently prepared sauce. The chef was seriously failing. If you ask me how I ate and I say it was bad and tell you why, accept the criticism, don't tell me you make everything fresh that day. Frozen products, but that wouldn't be a problem. Frozen and frozen exist. The price was too high for the quality eaten. 40 euros for an octopus, a paccheri, and 1 water. No coffee, no wine.

12/11/2025: I often go there for lunch, so I get a business lunch menu: €12, wine not included. The food quality for a business lunch menu is always top-notch (and that's not always the case). The menu includes a choice of first course, second course, and side dish. Pictured is a roast porchetta with scamorza cheese. Delicious. Their bread is truly a work of art. Highly recommended ;)

05/08/2025: From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms—almost literally! The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as impressive. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and the menu shine this brightly. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: Business dinner with 26 people. All attendees paid as expected. At the end of the evening, only a few of us remained, and we were asked for two additional bills, which, trusting the staff, we paid. The next day, after checking with colleagues, it emerged that the bill had already been paid in full. For over 10 days, we've been asking for an audit and a refund, but have never been able to speak to a manager. Conflicting versions, no concrete answers, and no documentation provided. It's not a question of money, but of fairness and professionalism. Terrible management and a complete lack of accountability.

28/12/2025: A business dinner with 26 people, with departures staggered throughout the evening. As we were leaving, two staff members stopped the last remaining guests, saying that two portions of the bill were missing. We asked if they were sure, and, annoyed, they told us they only had 24 receipts. Trusting them, we immediately paid the missing portions. The next day, after checking with our colleagues, it emerged that all 26 of us had already paid: some people had left money with colleagues, who had therefore paid two portions on a single receipt. It was therefore clear that the receipts had been counted without verifying the amounts, thus charging us two extra portions. We contacted the restaurant immediately without arguing, knowing that mistakes like this can happen. We simply asked for a check of the receipts, confident that we could arrange a refund that same day. Ten days have passed since then: we have called numerous times without ever being able to speak to the owner or anyone who would take responsibility for what happened. The waiter always answers, saying he didn't know anything and that we'd be contacted again, which never happened. On our last call, we were told the table would seat 28 people. This information only matches the total number of guests paid (26 people plus the two additional guests requested that evening), but not the actual number of diners, which that evening was confirmed to be 26, with 24 receipts available. It's not a question of the approximately 40 euros. It's a question of fairness, professionalism, and respect for the customer. A cash register error can happen. Deliberately ignoring a clear, documented, and repeated report is not. Poor management of a very simple situation, a total lack of responsibility, and a terrible embarrassment with a table of 26 people. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Inappropriate behavior, bordering on fraud.

16/01/2026: January 2026. A pissed-off waitress who doesn't say hello or even respond, shuffling her feet from table to table as if she were headed to the gallows. We had to get up and go call her to the counter where she stood with her back to the customers to take their orders. 25 minutes for two cappuccinos, ordered with cocoa and delivered without. Bigio's service has truly deteriorated. I'll settle for their delicious cookies, but there are plenty of other great cafes in San Pellegrino for breakfast.

11/01/2026: The hotel's excellent location near the San Pellegrino spa allows for a relatively affordable stay. The rooms are truly dated, as is the entire property. This is evident from the photos, but in person, the rooms are much worse than they appear, with furniture and fixtures reminiscent of a vintage museum. There were no cotton swabs in the room, and the toilet paper roll was already half used. However, the room was very clean. The staff was excellent, kind and very helpful, from the reception and breakfast waiters to the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was good, but my partner, who is gluten and lactose intolerant, was only able to eat a package of packaged biscuits, contrary to what I had been told on the phone, which stated they had alternatives for those with intolerances.

20/12/2025: I often come here with my friends, and every time we feel right at home. Paie and freedom are the key words. The Protectorate also always surprises with its "Lemon Gigi," a bitter liqueur that rounds off the evening beautifully. Recommended!

12/08/2025: Pizzeria San Martino, a few steps from my house and somewhat hidden, is nevertheless well-known in the area. In the first two or three years after opening, it stood out for its attention to every detail: a tidy place, impeccable service, and consistently excellent pizza. After a few years, the quality of the pizza has remained extremely high—truly among the best—as has the service and the welcoming, pleasant atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the outdoor area. During nights and on days when it's closed, the terrace becomes a place of passage and rest for people who leave it in a shabby condition, significantly degrading its overall image. This unfortunately takes away from the place's charm, to the point that, even when it reopens at the end of the summer, those who pass by during these weeks are unlikely to have a good impression. My advice is to consider permanently removing the terrace and replacing it with a well-kept and striking entrance: two tall, elegant candles, or two slender, well-kept flowerpots, perhaps with a nice rug at the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the current exterior risks putting off customers. It would be a shame not to take action, given the excellent quality of the cuisine.
