I can highly recommend this hotel. A truly welcoming hotel in a quiet location. Excellent value for money. Bikers are welcome. A garage with direct access to the hotel is available. 17/07/2026: The restaurant is a bit hidden, but you can find it with a GPS. The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. The owner is a great guy: friendly and very kind, always ready to accommodate our requests, as is the rest of the staff. We started with a small salami platter kindly offered by the host and continued with excellent casoncelli alla bergamasca and a superb Mediterranean swordfish. The desserts were very good, and, to top it all off, a complimentary liqueur on the house. The total bill was in line with the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try.

09/07/2026: After a half-day trip from Selvino along the old mule track, we reach Albino... but the funicular is under maintenance... and the pizzeria at the funicular station is closed. Luckily, we find Ristorante Pizzeria Dal Bali'. Kindness and courtesy: we find a business lunch for €15 PRS (first course, second course, side dish, wine, water, and coffee). Finally, the owner gives us a bag of plums from his garden, ready to make jam. So come visit Ristorante Bali', eat, and then head to Selvino. Happy Holidays

Everything was fine until the bill arrived — 98 euros, which was perfectly acceptable. We left 20 euros × 6 = 120 euros, planning to leave a tip. When the change came, I was shocked to receive only 2 euros. To be sure, I checked my wallet to confirm that I had indeed put in 120 euros. I counted again and confirmed it. The real shock came when the staff returned with four 20‑euro notes, claiming that we had not paid the full amount. I should add that when the waiter took the money, he dropped it on the floor and spent a long time under the table, even though the money was not scattered around. That's where the missing 40 euros disappeared — into his pocket. Disgraceful behavior and a ruined day! I spend at least a couple of months a year in this region. 03/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The pizza was undercooked and cold. Although the waitress took it back immediately, she couldn't even manage a "sorry." She said the new pizza would be ready in 2 to 3 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes, my pizza was finished, and the new pizza still hadn't arrived. We left, and there was no apology whatsoever when paying the bill either.
