01/11/2025: It's not the first time I've been there, but unlike other times I was disappointed, waiting over an hour and a half for the first course, even though it's Sunday, is not acceptable, the portions are generous, but the quality is definitely improvable, I will definitely return because the location deserves it and I hope to be able to give a better rating

12/10/2025: A place with a slightly unconventional personality, yet welcoming and clean. Generous portions, excellent food, and very friendly owners, who are also careful to conserve resources with doggy bags.

15/10/2025: First experience at this place... grilled prawns, tempting presentation, but the prawns were still raw and not cleaned, and tasted like frozen fish water... service, we asked for the dessert menu three times, half an hour to get them... on the prawn plate, when the waiter cleared it, he noticed brown, sandy water on the plate, so I say... as you can see, they were neither cooked nor cleaned... response, I see!!! But no apology, much less a courtesy... never mind!! And no, it's not like that... the price from the menu was 20.00... not exactly cheap, which in any case doesn't justify it... first time I've eaten such awful prawns, but I felt sorry to leave you on the plate... my courtesy in a place where rudeness is the norm!!! Then don't complain about my review...

12/11/2025: Excellent first courses, even for celiacs. Their homemade white pizza for celiacs was truly top-notch, but it didn't seem gluten-free. The staff were very kind and courteous, and the service was fast and accurate. We also stayed here overnight and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. If we're ever in Saronno again, it'll be a must-try! Thanks

06/11/2025: Besides the lovely location and the kindness of the hostess, we ate truly well! Excellent panzanella, delicious Livorno-style red mullet, a delightfully warm apple pie, and a fantastic nocino liqueur! We'll be back often.

19/09/2025: Dinner for two with a shared appetizer, a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and a coffee for €120. Good, but decidedly and unjustifiably expensive. Sorry, but I won't be back.

22/09/2025: We visited Antica Hosteria Cavallino and had a truly enjoyable experience. We tried high-quality seafood dishes, with a distinct Sardinian flavour. Fregua Sarda Senatore Capelli creamed with shellfish (lobster and red shrimp): creamy, balanced, and rich in flavour. Gran Trionfo di Crustacei del Mediterraneo alla Catalana: a spectacular and generous dish, perfect for those who love the authentic flavours of the sea. A delicious Sardinian Vermentino paired the meal, fresh and aromatic, which perfectly complemented the dishes. To conclude, a delicious warm ravioli filled with citrus custard and basil ice cream: an original and well-executed dessert. The location is private and welcoming, the atmosphere intimate and refined. The staff was courteous and friendly, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. The dishes are of a high standard, and the quality is evident, even if the prices are a bit above average. Overall, however, it's worth it for those seeking refined seafood cuisine with a strong Sardinian identity. The house myrtle liqueur is offered at the end. Always appreciated.

26/08/2025: The food is excellent, and you can taste the top-quality ingredients. The location is quiet despite being in the center of Desenzano.

29/10/2025: Renovated room. Varied and complete breakfast. Lake view and close to the lakeside promenade. Easy parking at the hotel. Charming staff.

19/10/2025: Ideal location. Room with a balcony overlooking the lake, with no road in between. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is small but excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Friendly, attentive staff without being intrusive.

12/06/2025: Location molto gradevole, a differenza dei piatti assaggiati. Salmone sul menu indicato come marinato in realtà molto affumicato. Paccheri esageratamente salati, io non sono riuscita a mangiarli. Non tornerò più.

30/11/2025: Simply excellent: generous portions, delicious food, quick and friendly service, and fair prices. As a celiac, I asked for gluten-free bread, but unfortunately it was out of stock, so the owner thought it best to offer me a whole gluten-free focaccia. Such generosity is rare these days, well done!

16/11/2025: Very informal atmosphere. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is truly good and the drinks are even better 😉. Jokes aside, the place definitely deserves more visits to try the entire menu. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: Dinner with my husband in a quiet, elegant, and refined setting. Amazing seafood dishes. Definitely superior quality. Mr. Giancarlo greeted us with great kindness and warmth. An experience we'll definitely repeat.

19/11/2025: I usually don’t write reviews , but this restaurant deserves 5 stars , I've gone to a lot of similar eateries, but this one really sticks out. The attention to detail and devotion to guest service distinguishes it from the competition . ( I forgot to ask the waiter’s name at the end , grazie mille .)

18/11/2025: Very nice place, we were received well in the street by the manager/owner (not sure), he looked like business man, very smart the way he approaches, they were very flexible when we asked something outside of the menu. They were very attentive getting us a spot in between heaters and moved them even closer when we looked cold. Then Mauricio took over, a real authentic veteran waiter who just knows what he is doing. He gives you this italian feeing of calmth, professional but very playfull kind of service. Maincourses were good. The service is what will make us come back, thank you very much!
