08/11/2025: We were staying in Salò to relax after the hustle and bustle of Italy and we weren't expecting to have one of the best gastronomic experiences of our trip. We were very well attended to by the owner, Estefano, and the waitress, and the food was sensational. We ate pasta with black garlic paste that was spectacular, a fish (sea bass) with artichoke cream, and the next day we returned and had as an appetizer a rabbit stuffed with chicken and for the main course a fish lasagna with pumpkin and another with pork steak with mashed potatoes, onion and sea bass, simply unforgettable! Don't expect large portions, but they are very satisfying and the flavor is sensational. For dessert we had the pistachio tiramisu, also very good. When I return to Italy, it will be the first restaurant I want to go back to.

12/01/2026: A wonderful surprise! We were in the area and went to the restaurant on Saturday for lunch. A very beautiful and well-kept location, with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. Excellent service, truly excellent food. Fair price considering the overall quality of the experience.

The location is splendid: refined, welcoming, and perfect for those seeking a warm, family atmosphere. Our guests felt pampered from start to finish, and many complimented us on our choice. The service and catering were impeccable. Delicious dishes, meticulous presentation, and constant attention without ever being intrusive. Every moment was enhanced by a setting that conveys history and style. Villa Campari was more than just the setting for our wedding: it became part of the most precious memories we will carry with us. We recommend it to anyone seeking an elegant, intimate event, managed by people who truly put their heart and soul into their work.

12/01/2026: Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation... We ordered the fish tasting menu, but besides the fact that it wasn't a multi-course tasting menu—it was just an appetizer, a first course, and a second course—the first course, "Mixed pasta and potatoes, slightly spicy, creamed with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and clams," was a real disappointment! It had no flavor whatsoever! It was completely bland, no Parmesan, nothing spicy, and most importantly, no clams; there were only two of them! The rest of the dish, the salmon tartare and the mackerel, were passable, but nothing exceptional. Logically, given the nature of the restaurant, we weren't charged for the first courses, which speaks in their favor (we didn't eat them, after all), but I would have preferred to pay and eat... The location is very charming and moderately elegant, the staff competent and helpful. The prices are moderately high. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it, but having not tried other dishes, I can't give an overall positive review either.

07/01/2026: We spent a relaxing weekend here. The hotel is well-maintained and truly charming, and you can feel the family run atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and pleasant. The highlight of the property (in my opinion) is the varied breakfast with excellent products, and the location with a breathtaking lake view! A romantic place to indulge in some pampering and some time for yourself.

03/01/2026: We booked a room with a lake view on Booking.com, and from the photos it looked like a very respectable room. We entered the "room," and what we saw was not what we booked and saw in the photos. There wasn't even room to walk, there was no bidet, and not even room to store our suitcases... We decided to go to reception to ask for clarification, explaining that if I book a certain type of room, I expect to get that. After complaining that the photos didn't match what we were given, the receptionist replied, "It's the same room, but the photos are taken from above." Honestly, I didn't think I was being taken for a ride. The receptionist managed to find a viable solution: a room with more living space and a bidet. Another negative note was the room's soundproofing, which wasn't there; we could hear every little thing. That same evening, we used the private spa service (a jacuzzi, sauna, and a small cabin called a relaxation area) for the modest sum of €70, which I found to be very expensive. As for the breakfast, it was good but nothing special, saved by the very courteous service staff and the very romantic lake view. After breakfast, we met Mirtilla, a very affectionate dachshund. We picked her up from the road after five minutes. She was about to be hit by a van. I brought her back to reception, asking if it was theirs, and when I explained what had happened, the receptionist replied, "She's been alive for four years and has never been hit." Not even a thank you or a gesture of kindness. We will definitely never return and will not recommend the accommodation. To do this job, just having a beautiful view isn't enough.

The service was punctual and well-organized. The dishes were beautifully presented and of excellent quality, prepared with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Even the children loved the food. We spent a pleasant evening in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It's a restaurant we happily recommend to anyone looking for good food, friendly service, and an atmosphere suitable for both adults and children. We'll definitely be back.

Elegant atmosphere, high-quality cuisine with sophisticated dishes, impeccable and attentive service. After all, as the saying goes: it's the details that make the difference. Do I recommend it? Absolutely YES!!!
