I've been frequenting this temple of haute cuisine for two years now, and what continues to amaze me is their almost supernatural ability to maintain an extremely high standard, night after night, season after season. The cuisine blends impeccable technique, gastronomic memory, and contemporary intuition with disarming ease. 23/11/2025: The restaurant is very well-maintained, with a small waterfall visible from the windows and the mill beneath the glass floor. There are two tasting menus and the option to order à la carte. The ingredients are of high quality, and the dishes are beautifully presented in a beautiful setting with professional service. Prices are high, but they reflect the research and hard work behind the scenes by the kitchen team. Worth a try.

The food is excellent and high-quality, the only flaw being the very small quantity... It's a shame because it was really good and I would have eaten much more. I'm not saying the dishes should have been huge like at a mountain hut, but at least there should have been a little more; after all, they're just tastings.

15/12/2025: A quiet, unpretentious, charming place. The service was fabulous---the matron checked on us just enough to make us feel we were being well taken care of, but was never overbearing or intrusive. She had perfect suggestions for food and wine, even telling us when we were ordering that we were ordering too much, and that we shouldn't get certain dishes. The food itself was delicious, everything impeccably prepared and beautifully presented. The chef even came out to ask us how we were enjoying it. The prices, especially considering the quality of the food, are eminently reasonable. I recommend this place without reservation or qualification. Even though I will be in Milan only a week, I plan to return here before I leave.

15/11/2025: I went for lunch today and had the eight-course tasting menu. The location is very pretty, probably a renovated old house in the valleys, and it really gives the feeling of an intimate moment. Before talking about the menu, I'd like to say a few words about the service: the two ladies in the dining room were wonderful, anticipating every need, punctual but never intrusive, with a smile plastered on their faces and, above all, knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to listen to them discuss both the dishes and the wine. This should be the norm in a restaurant of this caliber, but having been to several, I assure you it's not. To discuss the menu in detail: €140 + €35 for the pairing with three glasses of wine, one of the best value I've experienced. The amuse bouche are very interesting, from the sweetness of the pumpkin to the more intense flavor of the takoyaki and chicken livers, finishing with the mock macaron and the rocher, with a hint of fried herbs (what a frying!). The first two dishes were probably the ones that left me most amazed, perhaps because I had underestimated them: course 0 cream of cauliflower with trout caviar and thyme, an incredible balance, the part on the surface pushes so much with the savory that the cream then dulls (by the way, it almost seemed like a foam with its consistency) and the herb that then finishes off, enhancing all the previous flavors and preparing you for the next bite. The cavolo nero leaf with truffle doesn't seem like a dish with too many pretensions in terms of flavor, but the combination of the bitterness, the truffle on top, and what's under the leaf makes it explode in the mouth and for me deserves the award for best dish on the menu. I'm not a fan of snails as a raw ingredient, but the pairing with the formai de mut and the bitterness of the asparagus is very interesting. The sweetbreads are another dish of the highest quality, cooked and therefore obviously perfectly textured, with an enviable aroma of the grill and maillard. The two first courses were pleasant, but in my opinion, a step behind the appetizers and main courses. The black lemon in the rice was a real highlight, giving it a truly interesting twist. The eel was very smoky, but I personally enjoyed it, with the acidic grapefruit and hazelnut cream keeping it under control very well. I really appreciated the two versions of lamb, including sirloin, paired with tarragon (my opinion: the herb is better than the meat, and not because the meat isn't). On the rolled belly, the herbs tried everything they could but couldn't quite make it. The flavor was very intense, and it should be pleasant because it left the mouth feeling very full and heavy, but the kitchen knows this well, and in fact, the fir granita arrived next, which, besides being delicious, brought the palate back to a completely neutral state. A sugar-free dessert, but very balanced, with a perfect level of sweetness, and a truly remarkable little pastry, with the added punch of the cannoli with whiskey cream. In short: exceptional cuisine, perfect pairings, beautiful location, and impeccable staff. I'll definitely be back to try the other menus, especially the vegetarian one, given the magic the chefs have shown they can work!

05/10/2025: We came to Ponte S. Pietro to dine here, and it was worth every penny, every second we spent. Locally sourced ingredients were cooked to perfection. Every taste was delicate and simply fun to eat. We specifically loved the lobster (amazing flavor, a perfect match with the tomato reduction and sun-dried tomato) and deer carpaccio (with beautifully cooked turnip, apple mousse, and black truffle). All the staff, including Maurizio, were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the wines he suggested were spot-on. I would love to come back again for the fish menu. It was a wonderful place, full of dining pleasure, and worth the trip. I'd love to come again.

05/11/2025: I was intrigued by the business lunch offer and stopped in: the setting was elegant and the service impeccable, something you'd expect from a one-star establishment, but it's not always guaranteed; you'll find it here. The business lunch menu was absolutely excellent considering the value for money. The pasta with beans and mussels amazed me, with its very bold and pleasant flavors. The fish was exceptional, without too many frills: quality ingredients, sauce, and vegetables that supported the flavor and texture. The only flaw was the passion fruit dessert, a bit too acidic for my taste, but that was immediately offset by the peanut-shaped "chocolate" served with the coffee, delicious and delicate.
30/10/2025: A top-notch seafood restaurant, both for the choice of ingredients and the preparation of the dishes. Everything was absolutely perfect, needless to say. The service was also impeccable, with a young but highly trained staff. The atmosphere is very elegant but free from any excess that might make you feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend it to all seafood lovers, and I thank all the staff for making this experience possible.

03/12/2025: On our last night in Milan, my wife and I chanced upon this restaurant for a late dinner. Even though we were the last customer of the night, we were still given impeccable service and absolutely delicious food. All the seafood were fresh and cooked perfectly, and they were reasonably priced. If you're looking for a restaurant that serves great Italian seafood, friendly service with a reasonable price, then look no further. Highly recommended.

23/11/2025: Excellent osteria with high-quality products and a selection of local wines. We went specifically for the Florentine steak, and it was an excellent choice. Tender, tasty, and cooked to perfection. I'm very disappointed, however, with the lack of transparency regarding the weight and size. We opted for a piece between 1 kg and 1.2 kg at €4.80/hg, but the price on the bill didn't match. Either they increased the price per hg or the piece was heavier (about €30 more than expected). As is customary, the weighing receipt is brought to the table along with the piece of meat before cooking. This procedure is quite common in restaurants that serve Florentine steak and serves precisely to avoid any doubts or concerns about the restaurant owner's honesty. The desserts weren't up to par with the rest. I really appreciated the delivery of a glass full of sweets with the bill; it sweetened the bitterest moment of the evening.
16/11/2025: We were there on Friday, November 14th. The place was welcoming. The service was friendly, and we ate delicious traditional dishes. They welcome you with a small cup of coffee, and when they serve you coffee, they bring you sweets. They know how to pamper you. Highly recommended, and we'll be back.
