03/05/2026: The grounds are very well maintained, especially the gardens, which are magnificent. However, the modern section near the pool is a shame: it clashes sharply with the original structure and doesn't blend in. We had dinner in the three-Michelin-starred restaurant. The cuisine clearly doesn't live up to this standard: it lacks refinement, seems very commercial, and is rather ordinary. Furthermore, we were seated in a room where two tables had infants, which is unacceptable for a Saturday night in a restaurant of this caliber. We spent the night there. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained, but the bathroom is disappointing and really needs a complete renovation. Finally, the service is overly intrusive: the staff is friendly, but lacks discretion and tries to do far too much. In conclusion: it certainly doesn't deserve three stars and is therefore far too expensive for what it is!

25/04/2026: A beautiful, typical Ligurian restaurant, although not adequately cleaned (we found pieces of breadsticks and a dirty fork on the floor under the table: I've attached a photo). The service was very attentive and attentive, but our experience involved a waiter who was quite touchy with us and the tables next to us. The renowned, award-winning soup was good, but the portion was meager for €32. The other dishes were good; the traditional focaccia didn't disappoint, and the same was true for the trofie al pesto. On a personal note: we witnessed the scene where the old owner's son was rude to his father. It wasn't pleasant to see or hear.

11/07/2026: All 5 stars are well deserved. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. And the food was perfect. One of the best seafood pastas I've ever had. The polenta concia and porcini risotto were delicious.

13/07/2026: It's a splendid restaurant with a lake view. Easily accessible with parking. An antique-style atmosphere, with 19th-century furniture and furnishings. The staff is polite, courteous, and friendly. Specialties include fish, lake, and seafood, as well as meat dishes. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

13/07/2026: An unexpected stop turned out to be a remarkable experience: despite the heat, here at Da Guido restaurant on the terrace, the breeze (the Ora) was perfect for enjoying excellent spaghetti with lake sardines and grilled local whitefish. Mr. Guido explained to us that the fish caught here, between Campione and Gargnano, lives in deeper, cleaner waters, which also explains the different flavor.

Not only was the food and all staff amazing but they all took the time to explain each dish brought out to us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner in Lake Como. 22/07/2026: The food and service absolutely live up to its Michelin one-star reputation. In fact, I would even rate the service at a two-star level. It was exceptionally professional yet warm, with every interaction feeling natural, effortless, and perfectly balanced—never overdone. The staff either have extensive experience or have received outstanding training, and it truly shows. The food was equally impressive: beautifully executed, full of flavor, and, in my opinion, somewhere between the standard of one and two Michelin stars. A highly recommended dining experience.

30/07/2026: Dinner for two Very welcoming atmosphere Good service, friendly staff. An intriguing selection of entrées. The French wine (Côte du Rhône), which was recommended to us, was very good. Interesting fusion pairings in the dishes. The choice of various tasting menus is excellent, allowing you to fully enjoy the dishes expertly prepared by the Chef. The presentation of the dishes is truly meticulous. Definitely recommended for a relaxing dinner during a stay at La Perla Del Rosa.

We were served by the friendly Egyptian waiter, Mimmo, and his colleague, Ahmed. They were very helpful and assisted us in selecting the right dishes, making the experience even more enjoyable and professional. There were two of us, and we ordered shrimp salad, grilled fish with mushrooms, and a mixed seafood platter. All the dishes were delicious and expertly prepared. What impressed me most was the quality and freshness of the ingredients, which was clearly reflected in the taste. The place is somewhat small, with few tables, and wheelchairs are not permitted. I thank Mimmo and Ahmed for their hospitality and excellent service, and I will definitely visit again on my next trip. We had an excellent dining experience. We visited on Saturday evening, and the restaurant had a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made the evening even more enjoyable. In the local area, there is no need to eat, but there are many different things and there is no need to eat the food. 06/07/2026: It was a pleasant discovery. A very beautiful, elegant place with original details. The owner is a young, talented, and very kind man. I went for dinner and had the octopus, which I love! They also make it as a ragù with pasta, and it's spectacular. Very tender, even eaten on its own. The dishes are beautifully presented, with top-notch attention to detail, which is not always a given. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to combine authenticity, tradition (thanks to Milanese cuisine), and flavors. I'll be back again.

We were pleased with the choice; the cuisine was excellent, with carefully prepared dishes, generous portions of first courses, and even excellent pizza. Excellent value for money. A 20% discount for B&B guests is an added bonus.
