02/09/2024: Poco da dire, tutto impeccabile. Più che una cena è una vera e propria esperienza. Credo vivamente che sia da provare almeno una volta nella vita. Davvero difficile ordinare un piatto non gradito! Complimenti, stelle veramente meritate!
27/08/2024: quando si entra in un locale del genere i commenti diventano quasi superflui. A mio parere un percorso in un ristorante del genere è un'esperienza che va fatta una volta nella vita. Fantastico.

Quiet environment where peace and views of the plain reign.
Quality dishes (SUPREMA eel, without fat).

Dinner with his wife, after being welcomed by the owner, on his advice we opt for a local tasting menu; while we wait, the appetizer offers Codevilla prosecco and sliced, crunchy eggs.
As an appetizer the wife receives "a door to the garden", with carrot mayonnaise, pasta alla norma.
For me, the meeting of waters, in which they place a salmon tartare on a whitefish and raspberry pâté, covered with a crouton made with whitefish skin.
First course Venere risotto with missoltino fondue and courgettes, well cooked and balanced.
For second mountain: hay ice cream, venison morsels in blueberry sauce, pine drops, grappa brittle.
Delicate flavors, cooked correctly.
Another second course is the porcini mushrooms and nectarine peaches, ok
For dessert we choose hidden with aromas, hazelnut, chocolate and salt (intriguing).
The wife opts for berries in four consistencies.
Before dessert they bring us a black foam mousse on lime, which is good.
With coffee tasting biscuits produced by them.
Of note is the bread, also self-produced, with peanuts, milk, tomatoes and capers, black flour, breadsticks, focaccia.
All good.
Elegant environment.
Waiters who rightly explained each dish.
Adequate price without excesses.

A heartfelt thank you to Mario and his wife for the always warm welcome. Every time we come here, we feel truly pampered and at home. A big round of applause and praise to the dining room staff for their impeccable service, kindness and attention to detail. You are always ready to make us feel at ease with a smile and you made our lunch even more pleasant. Finally, a special and heartfelt thanks to the chef and kitchen staff who worked hard despite the crazy temperatures, giving us delicious dishes with fresh and genuine ingredients directly from their garden, the quality of which was evident in every bite. Thank you for making our August holiday so special. We can't wait to come back, you are always a guarantee.

18/08/2024: Location: nel centro di Gargnano è possibile stare nel grazioso e tranquillo vicolo in pietra al coperto, con squarcio di vista sul lago, o nello spazioso e carino spazio interno climatizzato con finestre sul lago. Ambienti puliti e curati. Mise en place minimale.
Menu: ottimi piatti di qualità e gusto. Il pesce di lago la fa da padrona x gusto e creatività. Menù con una buona scelta che garantisce la freschezza delle portate.
Servizio: cordiale, disponibile ed attento. da parte di tutto lo staff.
Prezzo: leggermente superiore alla media, ma consono alla qualità di quanto offerto.
Soddisfatti da tornare.

The pool was very nice and very comfortable.
Everything in the hotel is very modern and clean, we felt very comfortable. The hosts are very nice and accommodating.
You have a very nice view from the roof terrace.
The attached restaurant is also good.
The breakfast was also okay, you order from a menu with not much choice, but enough.
The only thing that wasn't great was that our room was very, very small and there was hardly any space.
All in all, it was definitely worth it and it's great in terms of price-performance ratio!
Happy to come back!

02/08/2024: The pasta was a bit salty for Korean tastes. When ordering
I think it would be better to ask for it to be less salty. The taste was pretty great. I didn't know the name of the black pasta, so I ordered it by showing a picture. The two waiters were really friendly and I felt like I was treated well!
The dessert tramisu was super delicious. I think it came to a total of 41 euros?
25/07/2024: Really pleasantly surprised with the food! Great price, good atmosphere, friendly and warm staff. Very convenient stop if you’re in the area.
The baby lobster salad was the star. So simple but you can really taste the quality of the seafood; super soft, sweet, and tender. Pairs great with the juicy cherry tomatoes.
I generally found the pasta to be better than the main. The veal chop and sea bass fillet were executed well, but lacked complexity and diversity in the dish; it doesn’t come with any sauce or side dish, which is probably traditional but for me is a little lacking. The pennette (?) and the pasta Neri both had great pasta cooked perfect with a nice but not overly exhausting chew. There was zucchini in both which I worried would be duplicative but turned out quite different. I would have preferred more seafood in both, though.

I was with you for lunch on Friday, July 9, 2024.
I'm writing this review for two reasons:
1) the food was 1/3 fantastic, 1/3 very good,
1/3 not good, or very room for improvement. If you would like more detailed information about my review - please contact me.
2) the main reason for my review is YOU!
I drove 650km by car that day to eat at your place. I was at your place at 11:45 a.m., the gate to the parking lot was open, I parked and waited until it was 12:30 p.m.
At 12:00 a man came (as it turned out later: YOU!!)
and said several times: “I have to clean here, this my job, please go”!!!!!!!
I didn't want to argue with the naughty gardener...
YOU have me and my wife:
- as a booked guest who just waited quietly
KICKED OUT!!
- stupidly lied
- and the lowest level of hospitality
undercut. That would be: A guest
Waiting quietly in the midday sun, a place
and offer a glass of water!
You are a decorated chef and I respect you for that. When it comes to manners and hospitality, you should definitely learn a few things.
BECAUSE:
It's not you who pays your bills, it's your customers and guests who pay them - and that day you lost at least two.

The dishes all have a true, authentic flavour, the flavors are harmonious and perfect in all their facets. The attention to detail and the competent and welcoming staff, a beautiful, elegant location that makes you feel at ease, in short, if you want to taste something that can transport you beyond the standards, but at the same time make you feel at home, this is the right place. For me Absolutely perfect.

Siamo stati coccolati e consigliati in maniera egregia dal titolare Matteo. Tanta passione e attenzione nella ricerca delle materie prime e tutto questo viene trasmesso al cliente. I went with two friends and tasted excellent quality fish. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the service is truly impeccable.
