05/01/2025: I had chosen to have my birthday lunch in this restaurant as it had excellent reviews and now I can confirm that it is truly a top-notch restaurant! The dishes offered are excellent: particular, tasty, surprising The environment is small, welcoming and very well looked after and there is also an open kitchen The owner is particularly courteous and friendly. In short, we didn't find a single flaw.

02/02/2025: Sunday lunch with family. Let's start with the food, very fresh fish, certainly cooked on the spot. The ravioli filled with sea bass with amberjack ragù are excellent, the calamarata with seafood is among the first courses; The second courses are also excellent: sea bass with artichokes and potatoes and mixed frying. Everything truly delicious. Really friendly and helpful staff. The environment is small but well-kept and welcoming. For a restaurant on the Ligurian Riviera, the price/quality is also very good.

19/02/2025: Last night my husband and I had dinner at Pier 56. With us our 4-legged friend. A delightful, welcoming, warm, clean environment. The owners were polite and kind and the pizza was delicious with excellent quality ingredients. A very pleasant discovery. Highly recommended!

17/03/2025: Siamo stati al DOC tre volte in vent’anni. La prima volta eravamo fidanzati, nel 2004. Era per noi un “ristorante da occasioni”, con una stella Michelin. All’epoca in Italia non c’era ancora la moda del cibo e i nostri coetanei ventenni non sapevano nemmeno di cosa si trattasse. Venire in un ristorante come questo era davvero un’esperienza sconosciuta ai più. Ricordo l’atmosfera ovattata di una fredda serata di San Valentino… poi siamo tornati nella primavera del 2020, nella prima domenica di apertura dopo il lock down. Sì poteva mangiare solo fuori e, nonostante il freddo, avevamo assaporato la libertà (oltre all’ottima cucine) e per la prima volta avevamo discusso con lo chef e la sua signora. Ed infine siamo tornati ieri con la famiglia, che nel frattempo si è allargata. Nulla è cambiato: la cucina sempre deliziosa nella sua elegante semplicità, la casa sempre ricercata, dove il tempo aggiunge charme e un filo di nostalgia ed infine lo chef…passano gli anni ma l’energia e l’entusiasmo sono sempre al top. Speriamo di tornare presto!

26/01/2025: The Doc restaurant in Borgio Verezzi was a pleasant discovery. I had dinner here and was impressed by the quality of the dishes: fresh ingredients and preparations with attention to detail. The atmosphere is really beautiful, welcoming and intimate, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to advise with a smile. The location, immersed in a charming village, adds a special touch to the experience. A place to eat well and feel at ease, ideal for those looking for a mix of taste and serenity. I will happily return!

14/02/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant on the way to San Remo, where we were very welcome by a young but very knowledgeable girl with a reassuring and very kind smile, if I may add one of the few waitresses who uses a bottle opener with great dexterity; the dishes: very simple but excellently presented with balanced and very very tasty flavours. Applause to the chef but a big compliment to the waitress. Definitely and highly recommended.

11/03/2025: The pizza and the mixed fried food by Diego are really good, in fact the best in the area... The only flaw is the slow service, an hour without even receiving a drink seems a bit too much to me, it's already good that it's not summer 😜... anyway I recommend this location... Diego 🔝

09/03/2025: Ate throughout the holiday and tried many dishes. Very fresh fish, very good, prepared with care. Mixed fried food and TOP pizza. x health problems, made special requests, they were attentive and thoughtful, respecting my every request with extreme courtesy. We will definitely be back.

05/03/2025: Amazing place, big and very welcoming!! The staff is fast and kind. We only tried the small pizzas with high crust, which I must say were very good, fresh and quality ingredients. Digestible dough. But there is much more to try, we will definitely be back!! Better to book.

18/02/2025: Ogni volta che passo da Savona ed è ora di pranzo o cena vado sempre nello stesso posto...Da Nicola...una certezza....almeno....sino a domenica scorsa. Dunque...io ordino pizza mia moglie e mia figlia un primo ed un secondo da dividersi. Dopo una quindicina di minuti ci portano primi e secondo INSIEME...mah....Pizza niente....mah...Mia moglie e mia figlia mangiano tranquillamente il primo, poi il secondo e terminano il pasto.....pizza niente....mah....passano altri 15 minuti ed allora oso chiedere cosa succede....al che una signora con fare stizzito ed altezzoso mi dice che la cucina è una cosa, mentre la pizza è un altra. In poche parole statte buono e aspetta. Ora...se mi avessero detto....che so...ci scusi,,,c'è stato un problema, arriviamo subito....ok capisco succede....invece no, avevano ragione loro. Me ne sono così andato senza pranzare. Mi spiace, ma a mai più rivederci

11/01/2025: We stayed today and last year in this SPA and now I can say that it is truly a very nice, welcoming and comfortable place to relax, but above all we had the pleasure both in booking and then afterwards on site of having met 2 girls (sisters ) who truly stood out for their professionalism, kindness, hospitality, courtesy and friendliness. 13/12/2024: We went for lunch on 7/08 after taking a bath. We had a truly excellent mixed fried dish to share. Fried and crunchy just right, plentiful and tasty. As a first course I had some excellent trofie with pesto (that is to say with extra potatoes and green beans, but you can also order without). My partner instead had a simple burger with chips. We spent 50 euros between us, in my opinion we are good value for money, considering that you are near the sea and with generous portions. The waiters are kind and always smiling, good! We will be back again when we are in the area!
