27/04/2026: I tried Il Panson and I must say it was a delightful discovery. Delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful food, all served in the splendid central location of Piazza delle Erbe. Perfect for both a relaxed dinner or an evening with friends in the center of Genoa. Highly recommended!
11/04/2026: Make a reservation, it's the only place in the square where the pizzeria is closed on Saturday evenings at 11 p.m.
Luckily, all the other places in the square serve both local cuisine and pizza.

30/06/2026: A sea-view restaurant recommended to us by the owner of our vacation rental. As it was our first evening and we weren't familiar with the area, we went to this restaurant. At first glance, it looked very inspiring, but our expectations were higher than what we ate. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests, and the service was average. The food was good, nothing spectacular, but it's a good seafood restaurant. Recommended despite everything.
28/06/2026: I ate spaghetti with sea breeze, it would have been good, but it's a shame that I found a clam full of sand which, when I opened it, ruined the rest of the dish... ok, it can happen, but at least I would have appreciated a little discount on the bill... I don't think we'll be back.

31/05/2026: The grilled and fried fish were absolutely terrible and inedible.
When I pointed this out to the staff, they were completely indifferent.
€25 per person for nothing.
18/05/2026: Interesting little place. Even the alley it's located on is very quaint. The osteria is a very simple, rustic trattoria, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the octopus tripe, which in my opinion is the star dish. I found it indescribable 🤩🤩

27/06/2026: By 1:55 pm they weren't letting anyone else sit down. They charge €4 for the cover charge, but hey, that's what you can expect in Portofino. The pasta dishes were good.

06/07/2026: The pizza itself was good, but the service completely ruined the experience.
The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. What I really couldn’t understand was that I wanted to order a seafood risotto, but they insisted that I had to order five portions because each portion was “for two people.” Not everyone at our table wanted risotto—we simply wanted to order a few dishes to share, which is completely normal. They refused, and it made no sense at all.
After that, I completely lost the desire to order anything else. I asked for the dessert menu several times, but they never brought it.
If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience, I’d recommend avoiding this restaurant. The food may be decent, but the service is incredibly disappointing. ★☆☆☆☆

08/05/2026: We had a very good meal, the staff were particularly friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. A very good place to eat.
06/05/2026: We had lunch there and ordered two types of pasta: penne and Alfredo spaghetti. The spaghetti was incredibly rich. We also ordered a fried chicken strip, which was delicious.
The only downside is that it's charged 5 euros per person, plus there's a tax on every order. They could have just offered one of the two. And I thank Ms. Nisreen for her excellent service.

Since it changed management in April 2026, we've eaten at this restaurant several times, both at lunchtime and à la carte in the evening! The staff were extremely friendly and the chef was top-notch... Highly recommended.

23/07/2026: Was craving carbonara, which I normally have in Roma on our annual visits to Italy, but Roma was not on our agenda this time. Stumbled on this place (saw the twinkling lights!), saw they had it on the menu so gave it a go. The carbonara was traditional and as good as I have had in Roma. Generous portion of guanciale and the egg yolk/cheese balance was perfect. We also had a lovely bottle of wine as recommended by the outstanding cameriere. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable. The place has a beautiful seaside interior to suit its location plus great italian pop classics playing in the background. The menu is diverse without being complicated. Lots of seafood options and nice wine selections. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food and experience.
20/06/2026: La Paranza da Marina is an absolute gem. We have been there 4 times in a month ! The vongole with bottarga were simply outstanding, and the gambero rosso were among the best I’ve ever tasted—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
The welcome and service were exceptional throughout our meal, with a special mention for Mario. He was always smiling, incredibly welcoming, and his positive energy was truly contagious. He made us feel like part of the family.
This is a wonderfully warm, family-run restaurant where you can enjoy genuinely delicious food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. An unforgettable experience that I would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area!

28/05/2026: The only positive aspect is the location with a sea view. After that, there are a number of things that aren't quite right, especially considering the high price. The building, restaurant, and breakfast are all neglected, at €12 per person. The young man who served us is very committed and does his best, but unfortunately, the whole situation seems disastrous.
17/04/2026: Restaurant and resort nestled in the natural surroundings of Punta Chiappa in Camogli. Breathtaking views, friendly and welcoming staff. If you want to relax in a corner of paradise, you've come to the right place.

31/05/2026: We had an aperitif and it was very good. Fantastic value for money. The waiter who served us was very friendly.
31/03/2026: We were especially disappointed with the service. The things we didn't like: the restaurant was a bit cold. We ordered pasta with wild boar, and it had no smell or taste whatsoever. We thought it tasted like the muscle used to make broth. The wild boar, although purged, was clearly wild boar. The grated cheese, once stirred a bit in the bowl, showed some mold, and when we pointed this out, the lady tried to argue in vain, even saying she'd bring back some cheese, but that didn't happen—so much the better! Along with the fried potatoes, there was supposed to be a cutlet, but 15-20 minutes after the potatoes arrived and the other main course had already been finished, the lady asked us if everything was okay. At that point, we assumed the order was complete. We mentioned the cutlet, and to defuse the situation, she replied without apology, "I'm going to kill him." The positive things were a good pesto, the fresh homemade pasta, the potatoes and the cutlet which, although long to wait, was really good and also the simple tartare.
