27/04/2026: I tried Il Panson and I must say it was a delightful discovery. Delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful food, all served in the splendid central location of Piazza delle Erbe. Perfect for both a relaxed dinner or an evening with friends in the center of Genoa. Highly recommended!

11/04/2026: Make a reservation, it's the only place in the square where the pizzeria is closed on Saturday evenings at 11 p.m. Luckily, all the other places in the square serve both local cuisine and pizza.

24/10/2025: Excellent Italian restaurant with wonderful flavors and friendly service. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the flavors were authentic and the place was very warm and attentive. One of the best we have tried!

16/08/2026: Unfortunately, the experience at L'Altro Eden didn't meet expectations. The menu is varied and offers several seafood options, but in practice, the quality of the dishes is average, nothing memorable. The most disappointing aspect was the service: despite the staff being diverse, the customer service was minimal. Some waiters seemed completely inexperienced and improvised (for example, they poured us the wine directly without letting us taste it first). The bread basket was also disappointing: even the focaccia was completely dry. Overall, the service needs improvement and the experience was disappointing. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't return. For €150 for two people, you can definitely dine elsewhere.

05/08/2026: It used to be a very good restaurant in a beautiful setting. I've been there twice this year for dinner: once with a table of 12, and sure, a bad night can happen, but the other time with three on a not-so-busy weekend. Both times, we were seated well past our reservation time, with no excuses for the delay. The food was decidedly mediocre, with a special mention for the raw fish, which seemed frozen. The price was decidedly high: €90 per person for four appetizers, a bottle of wine, and a dessert for three. What a shame!

25/07/2026: Want to experience Portofino without ending up in the usual, overly formal restaurants? Here, the experience is simple but incredibly positive. Where do you sit? The place is basic; even the tables and the table setting are super simple, but it makes sense. Especially since you eat outside right in the alley, in a truly charming and relaxed atmosphere. What to eat We treated ourselves well, with a couple of unexpected treats that really stand out: The trio of tartare dishes not included in the menu was amazing, excellent and fresh. The mussels au gratin? Outstanding, truly top-notch. And the spaghetti with clams also got top marks, made just right. The bill Well, we're in Portofino, so the prices are typical of Portofino. But at least here, the quality is there, so the money spent is worth it. In short: A simple, no-frills place where you can eat truly excellent seafood in a gorgeous little alley. Highly recommended if you happen to be in the area.

09/08/2026: We celebrated a wonderful birthday here thanks to the wonderful welcome we received and the quality of the food. The change of management has brought new value to this historic restaurant, which is absolutely worth a try. The service and the quality of the ingredients, combined with the attention to detail in preparation and presentation, are the strengths of this place. A very positive note, and one I recommend to everyone, is the double-cooked octopus with chickpea hummus and basil-flavored datterini tomatoes!! Well done guys, keep it up, we'll definitely be back! 😊

14/08/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant. A truly wonderful place! The pizzas are delicious and generous. The best pasta carbonara I've ever had!

13/08/2026: We ordered takeout pizzas: two marinaras (€7 each), one with sausage (€9), two bottles of water (€1.50 each), and a small 33cl can of Moretti beer (€5!), for a total of €31. The pizza was good. The prices are definitely high, so next time we'll look for an alternative.

22/08/2026: Poor food, rude manager with a terrible sense of humor who complained because six of us asked for different dishes (with an indefinable taste), saying the chef would struggle. The two children at the table (a 2-year-old and a 10-month-old) ate a bit of pasta with tomato sauce and butter and had to pay the cover charge!!!! High prices for the poor quality of the food. It was definitely all frozen. The restaurant was practically empty when everyone else was full. We should have known better. I've never eaten so badly. In Liguria. I don't recommend it.

15/08/2026: If you find yourself in this restaurant, as we did, by chance, take all kinds of shrimp, these are their specialties, do not refuse a dish from the extra menu, this is something super fresh and fishy. The wine is only local White Portofino, do not thank me for this tip. Mario, if he serves you, you will want to come again. This is one of the best seafood restaurants here.

06/05/2026: We had lunch there and ordered two types of pasta: penne and Alfredo spaghetti. The spaghetti was incredibly rich. We also ordered a fried chicken strip, which was delicious. The only downside is that it's charged 5 euros per person, plus there's a tax on every order. They could have just offered one of the two. And I thank Ms. Nisreen for her excellent service.

05/08/2026: A bit expensive for the quality. Cutlery is 10 cents more if you order takeout. There are also additional costs for ingredients that would form the basis of the poke. Very poor service...

18/07/2026: Great experience, and especially the warm welcome from the staff (the girl behind the counter) was incredibly kind and, above all, knowledgeable about the ingredients and helpful with everything. It's truly a pleasure to be served by someone so kind. The music was wonderful and the food was excellent.

16/07/2026: Last night at 9:00 PM, I asked to have dinner with a friend. I was rudely "thrown out," saying they didn't have any room (many tables were empty) and that I could MAYBE have dinner in an hour and a half, but the waitress wasn't sure what was left in the kitchen!!! Such treatment was unacceptable on a summer evening in an exclusive tourist spot! I don't recommend it!!!

11/07/2026: I don't judge, but I reflect. In 2026, in a tourist destination like Arenzano, it hurts to still encounter the hesitation of those who aren't "happy" to welcome a wheelchair. My mother is an elderly woman, lucid and aware, but she's no longer able to walk. Finding doors ajar on a Saturday evening, in the summer, is a burning wound. Fortunately, there's a special place: Il Portichetto. When I mentioned that I was with my mother in a wheelchair, they didn't bat an eyelid. They embraced us with immense and natural openness, making everything easier for us. Making a vulnerable person feel even more different is a profound injustice. Not making them feel like a problem, however, is a gift that is good for the soul. What should be the norm has become a touching exception. Those who rejected us will continue to fill the tables, but we will return to Il Portichetto. For the excellent food, for their rare kindness, and because, with disarming spontaneity, they made my mom feel like just who she is: a person. And she was very happy. Thank you so much.

28/05/2026: The only positive aspect is the location with a sea view. After that, there are a number of things that aren't quite right, especially considering the high price. The building, restaurant, and breakfast are all neglected, at €12 per person. The young man who served us is very committed and does his best, but unfortunately, the whole situation seems disastrous.

07/12/2025: I visited Trattoria Barisone after the recent change of management and was thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and from the first moment you can sense the new energy and attention to detail. I started with ravioli al tocco, which released an incredibly inviting aroma: a rich, enveloping dish with a simply divine flavor. Next came a delicate swordfish carpaccio, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, perfect in its elegant simplicity. All this was accompanied by an excellent Lagrein, which perfectly rounded out the experience. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the kindness and professionalism of the service, makes the new management a true revelation. Trattoria Barisone is back, better than ever: highly recommended!
