05/03/2025: We had dinner in this lovely tavern one evening in March. We ordered the mixed fried fish which we found fabulous. It was dry and the fish felt fresh. The owner who welcomed us was very kind and helpful in recommending dishes and wines. We had such a good time that the next evening we booked for dinner and we had confirmation that the food here is very good. Prices are in line with restaurants in the area. It's a shame that the third and last evening we were in Levanto the tavern was closed. We will definitely return and take home some nice memories.

14/03/2025: You can't get more than 5 stars, but I would give it 100! Last night I celebrated my father's birthday with the whole family and 23 super happy and delighted people like I've never seen! A spectacular welcome and food from a starred restaurant, but in quantity! So everyone is very happy with satisfied bellies, thanks Ostaietta, yesterday's magnificent evening will remain in the memories of all my family 🥰

13/03/2025: I ate very well, the grilled octopus is top notch, the fried fish was excellent and I have rarely tasted such good zabaglione. The service is a little slow but justified by the care taken with the dishes, which are also enviable in their presentation. Polite and friendly staff, I had already been once and, amazed by the quality of the dishes, tonight I brought my family, and I can say that they were all more than satisfied. I will definitely come back

19/02/2025: Last night my husband and I had dinner at Pier 56. With us our 4-legged friend. A delightful, welcoming, warm, clean environment. The owners were polite and kind and the pizza was delicious with excellent quality ingredients. A very pleasant discovery. Highly recommended!

17/03/2025: Siamo stati al DOC tre volte in vent’anni. La prima volta eravamo fidanzati, nel 2004. Era per noi un “ristorante da occasioni”, con una stella Michelin. All’epoca in Italia non c’era ancora la moda del cibo e i nostri coetanei ventenni non sapevano nemmeno di cosa si trattasse. Venire in un ristorante come questo era davvero un’esperienza sconosciuta ai più. Ricordo l’atmosfera ovattata di una fredda serata di San Valentino… poi siamo tornati nella primavera del 2020, nella prima domenica di apertura dopo il lock down. Sì poteva mangiare solo fuori e, nonostante il freddo, avevamo assaporato la libertà (oltre all’ottima cucine) e per la prima volta avevamo discusso con lo chef e la sua signora. Ed infine siamo tornati ieri con la famiglia, che nel frattempo si è allargata. Nulla è cambiato: la cucina sempre deliziosa nella sua elegante semplicità, la casa sempre ricercata, dove il tempo aggiunge charme e un filo di nostalgia ed infine lo chef…passano gli anni ma l’energia e l’entusiasmo sono sempre al top. Speriamo di tornare presto!

26/01/2025: The Doc restaurant in Borgio Verezzi was a pleasant discovery. I had dinner here and was impressed by the quality of the dishes: fresh ingredients and preparations with attention to detail. The atmosphere is really beautiful, welcoming and intimate, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to advise with a smile. The location, immersed in a charming village, adds a special touch to the experience. A place to eat well and feel at ease, ideal for those looking for a mix of taste and serenity. I will happily return!

18/03/2025: The fish is always good but it is becoming more of a gourmet restaurant than before, I have spoken to many and they think like me, the service is not fast, the dishes leave a little to be desired, they leave you hungry,... welcoming environment and super sea view, wines ok

16/03/2025: Che delusione! Sono anni che frequentiamo e siamo stati sorpresi dalla nuova gestione in negativo..spaghetti ai frutti di mare con 4 dico 4 muscoli sgusciati. Una frittura molto scarsa. Peccato...cercheremo un altro posto

21/03/2025: A trattoria that isn't a tourist trap. Great prices, super friendly waitresses, and the pizza is to die for. I 100% recommend it. I'm sad to have discovered it on my last night in La Spezia. 2 gourmet pizzas, 1/2 liter of white wine, 1L of water, and a tiramisu: €35. There were pizzas starting at €4.50!

28/02/2025: Excellent restaurant in the historic center of La Spezia, very close to the fruit and vegetable and fish market. High quality raw materials, from fish to meat. The dishes we opted for, all very good, were bucatini with prawn tartare and crispy bacon, grilled scampi, prawns and tuna and duck breast with soy sauce, orange and apples. All accompanied by an excellent white wine. Very helpful and punctual staff, warm owner.

23/02/2025: As always, coming to eat here for lunch or dinner is safe. You can't go wrong, you know you eat well.
