12/07/2025: Reviews (for me) are usually a kind of self-celebration. But in this case, please take my word for it, because I've never had seared tuna like this. And if we're talking about first courses, my wife (who tasted my spaghetti with clams) had a reaction similar to Sally in the famous film "When Harry Met Sally": that is, she experienced a profound gastronomic pleasure that she rarely displays. So, if you're passing through Genoa Nervi, please take a moment to appreciate the pleasure of the palate. P.S. Just as my wife enjoyed my spaghetti, I did the same with her seared tuna; a true delight for the palate. P.S. I'm happy when I review places like this: they exemplify the unwavering strength of family businesses, where a sense of duty and customer satisfaction come first; everything else comes second.

11/07/2025: Day trip out of town. We're coming from Turin to celebrate our anniversary. Found it on TripAdvisor, which is often a sure thing. We come to the restaurant. Everything is 5 stars. The management and atmosphere are family-friendly. The dishes are truly delicious and fresh, as they say. When the food is excellent, I always use the term... "mouth-filling," meaning I can taste the simple, authentic flavor of every dish. For those who love quality, for example, the spaghetti with clams and bottarga are from Senatori Cappelli (made with ancient grains). What can I say? The hot seafood appetizer (it seemed freshly caught), as well as the grilled tuna, seared as it should be cooked, and what can I say about the fish ravioli with tomato sauce, mussels and shrimp, and the fried anchovies? There's nothing else to say except come and enjoy them. Finally, congratulations on the attentive, friendly, and meticulous service. Finally, I recommend the local after-dinner drinks: Amaro Camatti and Amaro 7 erbe. I don't know what else to add except to tell you... Try it and believe it. If you really want to eat at La Ruota di Nervi, you have to go. My compliments to all the staff.

01/08/2025: I went for the seafood tagliolini and the experience was truly excellent. The dish was simply delicious: well-balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The service was impeccable, with friendly, helpful waiters who were always attentive to the customer's needs. Highly recommended for those who love good food and want to spend an evening filled with flavor and courtesy. I will definitely be back!

13/07/2025: Spurred on by the good reviews, we dined here last night. The mussel marinara was really good, and the clam pasta dishes were good, but nothing special. Service was a bit chaotic, but the girls were very kind.

03/08/2025: This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the ingredients and dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and managed to find us a table even without a reservation. The portions are generous, and a special mention goes to the signature dish: paella, served with fresh, flavorful seafood. Highly recommended.

The service was impeccable, combining kindness, attention and great professionalism. As for the cuisine, it is simply exceptional: tasty, refined dishes, not to mention the more than affordable prices... Thank you for this magical moment!

05/08/2025: It's a fantastic experience here. You can eat right on the beach. The food is delicious. We ate right on the beach twice and ordered takeout once during our four-day stay. No matter what we ordered, everything was delicious. And the prices are incredibly reasonable for the food. The staff are also very nice and friendly. It's a real insider tip.

13/07/2025: A wonderful discovery in Sestri! This restaurant offers carefully crafted and truly delicious Ligurian cuisine. We ordered an appetizer and a first course: both were delicious, with well-balanced flavors and impeccable presentation. The dessert was also excellent, a perfect end to the meal. Friendly and attentive service, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. All this combined with a pleasant location that makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended. We'll be back with pleasure!

08/07/2025: Very good place, very friendly staff. 2 pizzas, 2 desserts, and 1 bottle of sparkling water for €36.... Unbeatable value for money, especially since the quality is on the plate 😊 The only downside was that we would have liked to have pasta, but it wasn't on the menu. We realized too late that all we had to do was ask. Nevertheless, the pizzas were very good, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

01/07/2025: Dinner for two: an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, coffee, water and a gin and tonic. Very nice atmosphere, very kind staff and fast service. Appetizer: Bagnun di acciughe. Very good fish, the crostini not very soaked (for my taste), excellent dish anyway. First course: Orecchiette with mussels, shrimp, friggiteli and burrata. Perfectly cooked pasta, excellent combination of flavors. The friggitelo was a bit too much but this could also be my taste. Excellent dish. Second courses: Octopus tentacles and crispy cuttlefish with potatoes, burrata and crostini. Unfortunately the only crunchiness is given by the crostini. Even the owner, at the time of payment, recognized it, octopus too soft, tastes everything, professional. Very good flavor but everything too soft and no crunchiness. "Very" mixed fried food. Abundant fried food, excellent mixed fish. Very good, fresh fish. Also in this case "very" not very crunchy. Dish to share. Coffee served in a special cup, vintage... beautiful. The bill. I would have liked to receive a small discount on the octopus, given the "not at all crunchy" recognition. Coffee and myrtle offered. Delicious, well-kept environment and well-attended customers. Tables on the pier. Suggestions/thoughts. Napkin better in cloth given the well-kept environment, removable hook for bags (so as not to ruin the tables). Spoon for sugar bowl. I repeat only suggestions/thoughts. Compliments.

28/06/2025: 5 stars for everything is not an exaggeration!!! Excellent food of great quality, romantic and particular environment. I loved the furniture, the doilies used as table covers, the lamps and the dishes all different: the common thread is the color red that reinforces the romantic environment. The eccentric and pleasant hostess who knows how to entertain guests by putting them at ease. The waitress who understands and speaks little Italian, kind and helpful, also ready with a joke! Final twist: the delivery of the catch with a beautiful 50 kg swordfish.

05/08/2025: The prices aren't cheap, but they're absolutely in line with the quality of the food, the service, and the location—far from the sea, yet immersed in nature. All in all, it's definitely top-notch.

27/06/2025: On the advice of our B&B, we had dinner at Trattoria la Loggia, during our stay in the 5 Terre area. We had such a good time that after a couple of days we went back for more! There's little to do: passion and commitment arrive on the table, with the genuine flavors of the area and a very refined traditional cuisine. 20/07/2025: For every anniversary, celebration, or occasion, we spend a couple of fantastic hours here in our favorite restaurant, where everything is perfect! Great atmosphere, excellent food, service, and attention to detail, all of which we treat as friends!

20/07/2025: Tutte le nostre feste e momenti speciali li celebriamo qui nel fantastico Doc!!!Bello in ogni stagione,ma d estate nel giardino e nel cosiddetto romantic table l atmosfera è da favola!!!La gentilezza di Cinzia squisita sommelier, chi serve in tavola,tutto fa da cornice alla sublime cucina dello chef Paolo ( adorabili i nuovi desserts … budino al cocco… morbidoso al cioccolato e menta per citarne alcuni) Io sono vegetariana e ho sempre un menù dedicato!!!Ieri sera era una nostra importante data e come nella foto allegata al momento del dolce una gradita sorpresa!!!
