02/01/2026: The food and service were both excellent! I especially recommend it to domestic tourists: firstly, the waiters speak Chinese, making communication easy, and secondly, it serves Italian cuisine, allowing you to experience its unique flavors.

17/12/2025: We booked a dinner for two through The Fork and had a great time. We really appreciated the welcome prosecco and the basket of bread and focaccia. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, paired with an exceptional Gewurztraminer. The service was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

11/01/2026: A pleasant discovery...my family (11 of us) and I were looking for a place to have lunch in Albenga. Not being local, we tried several restaurants, and the only one that seemed available was "La Dolce Vita." It's a cinema-themed restaurant, clean, and has prompt and accurate service (if you're unsure or have questions, you'll receive a detailed explanation of the dishes). A small delay with one of the entrees was promptly resolved, with customer service that I'd describe as, to say the least, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Excellent dishes (meat and fish), made with top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: The ingredients and cuisine were wonderful, and the waiters were very kind and attentive. The wait wasn't too long, but the place was packed. I asked for a little more bread to mop up the seafood carbonara. I'll definitely be back.

06/01/2026: Very dissatisfied with the unfair treatment. Before Christmas, we booked dinner for sixteen people, agreeing, since we would be arriving late, to a set menu of their choice of appetizers, a main course, and a house dessert, for €25 per person. I don't want to comment on the welcome, because "friendliness" could be subjective (although "snorting" at everything seemed objectively rude to those present). Since we were celebrating a birthday and had brought a cake, we asked (in advance) if we could have a bottle for a toast instead of the house dessert. We were told no, that they only had champagne for €70. However, when they didn't even bring us the house dessert, we were told that the kitchen was closed, and we had our own cake anyway. And of course, the price was not discounted. Very unfair behavior, in our opinion.

26/12/2025: Beautiful location, it really looks like a stone cave... but even more interesting is the attention to the customer of the staff... and what about the food... I tasted a super tagliata that melted in the mouth... nice portions... excellent presentation... we will also try the dessert which we were very tempted by... another time. well done well done

31/12/2025: Simplicity and good food. An unpretentious, simple restaurant on the main street of the village. Location (4), seating both inside (mostly) and outside. The interior is nothing special; the outside is well-designed and well-maintained. Menu (4), wide variety of dishes, fairly average. Service (4), friendly and fast (it should be noted that we arrived when the restaurant was still empty because it had just opened; but the judgment must be based on how it went). Value for money (5), absolutely fair and generous portions.

10/12/2025: We were with a tour so had a 3 course meal for €30 was weak worth it and such great food. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Such fast service too! I definitely recommend!

31/01/2026: I had the raw fish appetizer and creamed cod. Both were excellent. The spaghetti with truffle, beetroot, and anchovies was absolutely amazing...fantastic! The spaghetti with artichokes and red mullet was also truly delicious and delicate. Go for it!

03/01/2026: We ate there for two lunches in a row. The first lunch we had the set menu for both us and the kids and it was all excellent at great prices. The second lunch we had pasta with clams and scialatelli pizza and fried food, all excellent quality at a great price. We will definitely be back!

03/01/2026: We ate here twice during our vacation. Despite the long wait (New Year's Eve week) and since reservations aren't possible, I highly recommend it! The waiter, who takes care of the wait list and seats you, is very quick, attentive, lively, efficient, and professional! He keeps an eye on everything and everyone and makes sure your experience is excellent. The food is very good, both the pizza and the fish dishes! The portions are excellent and the prices are fair! The tiramisu is also very delicious! We'll definitely be back :)

07/01/2026: We recently had dinner at Mare Blu, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The restaurant immediately gives off a welcoming, local vibe — many guests were greeted personally by the owners and staff, which says a lot about how beloved this place is in the community. Our waitress, though not Italian, delivered impeccable service. She was polite, attentive, and carried a constant, sincere smile that added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. We chose the fuori menu, starting with paccheri con cape sante, followed by tonno as the main course. Every dish was flawlessly prepared. The tuna, in particular, was exceptionally tender and fresh — a real highlight. To finish, we shared a paradise cake, a layered dessert with a hint of alcohol. Despite its richness, it was absolutely delicious. Mare Blu receives my full recommendation. The food, the atmosphere, and the service all came together beautifully. Even our dog Toffee was given a comfortable and safe spot beside our table, which we truly appreciated. A lovely evening in every way. I look forward to returning.

02/01/2026: My wife and I had lunch together. We arrived at almost 2 PM, but the young lady who welcomed us was spotless. A very nice, quiet, well-maintained, and welcoming place. Truly excellent food, impeccable service, and extremely kind, smiling staff, always ready to answer our questions. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommendable and a repeat experience.

The food was outstanding, delicious, and plentiful. We enjoyed it so much that we returned two nights in a row. Highly recommended for anyone visiting La Spezia. 16/01/2026: When I stay in La Spezia, I always come to this pizzeria, which also offers many fish dishes. Their caciucco is excellent. Their first courses are delicious. The staff are very friendly. Near the station. Go there!
