01/06/2026: I ate both the pizza and the food that came out of the kitchen. The pizza dough was well made and was tasty and digestible. The toppings were excellent. The cooking was also very good: I tried the creamed cod enhanced with a pesto garnish and the caponata. The plating, the service (exquisitely kind staff), and the table setting were very carefully chosen. Congratulations!

The completely "blind" experience is original and engaging: you don't know what you'll be served, but every dish is a surprise... and above all, a delicious discovery. The entire menu is seafood-based, with meticulous attention to detail and truly perfect pairings. You can sense the careful selection of ingredients and a cuisine that surprises without ever being overbearing. The service is attentive and perfectly complements the experience, leaving room for curiosity and the pleasure of discovery. A dinner unlike any other, which I highly recommend to anyone who loves to be surprised and experience something special.

19/04/2026: A wonderful experience, a historic Genoa restaurant, an elegant location with meticulous attention to detail. Kudos to the staff for the service, truly kind and professional, yet unobtrusive. A friend of mine tried the Zeffirino cheese focaccia with pesto and was amazed, so he complimented the kitchen. A few minutes passed, and Marco Zeffirino showed up at our table and sat down with us for a chat. He then brought us another portion of pesto, so I could try it with another friend. It was delicious, all accompanied by bread and focaccia. The evening continued beautifully. We enjoyed the appetizer, then moved on to the first courses. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and for the second course, the Ligurian-style catch of the day. We finished dinner with a delicious tiramisu made fresh in front of me, coffee, and Irish whiskey, in honor of the Peaky Blinders. Special thanks to Marco Zeffirino for his availability, a truly excellent host, we will definitely see you again.

24/05/2026: We had high expectations for Ristorante Babette, especially considering its reputation and the fact that we were staying at the connected resort. Unfortunately, however, the human experience and treatment we received left much to be desired. The first episode had already left us a bit perplexed: there were eight of us, and we were inquiring about the tasting menu and the reservation process, since the restaurant prefers to know in advance who will choose the tasting menu and who will order à la carte. Within minutes, while we were trying to organize our table, it was assigned to other guests. It certainly leaves a bitter taste in our mouths, but at the same time, we fully understand that, especially on a Saturday evening, those who book early get priority. The real problem arose the next day. As guests of the resort, we use the restaurant room every morning for breakfast and have access to the pool located behind the building. Having repeatedly seen other people use the indoor bathroom near the breakfast room before the restaurant opened, I asked a waiter if I could use it too. I was told to enter from the hotel side instead of the restaurant's main entrance. I even asked several staff members for confirmation, and they all allowed me to enter. Once inside, however, as I was closing the door, I heard a kitchen staff member making disparaging and insulting comments about my presence, referring to me to his colleagues as if I weren't there (which annoyed me even more, making me wonder how often staff can make such comments without being reprimanded, given the large number of foreign guests). He also complained that I was entering without saying anything to anyone, as if I were at home; this was completely untrue, given that I had asked permission several times. When I calmly explained the situation and the fact that I was a guest of the resort, the tone remained arrogant and rude, even pointing me to the public restrooms on the public beach. Resort guests aren't clear about the difference between the restaurant and the resort itself. Therefore, dealing with guests/customers calmly and politely would be the least I could do. I completely understand that a restaurant of a certain caliber wants to maintain standards and organization, but that doesn't excuse the lack of politeness and the way people are treated. The quality of the cuisine may be excellent, but hospitality and respect for customers should come first. I can't judge the food because, in fact, we weren't given the opportunity to eat there (for those wondering why we couldn't book for another day: that's our business). In fact, I give the food three stars. I can, however, judge the staff's behavior, and unfortunately, it wasn't up to par for the context. As far as I'm concerned, it was an extremely disappointing experience and decidedly unprofessional attitude.

26/10/2025: We stayed at this B&B, where the owners' hospitality and courtesy were truly superb. The room and breakfast were excellent. We highly recommend it; I will definitely return.

03/06/2026: We really enjoyed the vegan menu (the fact that there are protein-based main courses is fantastic). All the dishes we tried were delicious, as were the mussel appetizer and the non-vegan desserts (I hope they add more vegan dessert options, too).

06/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant: we and others who had made reservations waited half an hour for our table. My family and I had come for fish, and after receiving our drinks, they told us there would be an hour's wait for the restaurant, advising us to order pizza. The waiter was friendly, but not to mention the table management. We had problems with our online reservation. The waiters were connected with earphones but didn't pay attention to the customers. Good food.

31/05/2026: Nice atmosphere in a quiet setting. Good value for money. The first courses are top-notch, especially the traditional pesto, and one of the best fried fish dishes in recent years. Everything was excellent, highly recommended.

27/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in Moneglia, recommended by the owner of the abbey where we were staying—and what an excellent recommendation it was! We spent several remarkable evenings thanks to the warm welcome of Guido Compiano and his entire team. Delicious and refined cuisine, attentive service, and an elegant yet convivial atmosphere: everything came together for a truly memorable experience. We particularly appreciated the wine recommendations and the kind recommendation of a local supplier located very close to the restaurant, which allowed us to extend our exploration of regional products. Special mention also goes to the excellent ice cream, drizzled with a delicate syrup, as indulgent as it was delicious. An address we wholeheartedly recommend.
