19/08/2024: I often go to eat at this small restaurant because it is excellent value for money. The staff is always very kind and attentive and you can choose between fish, meat and pizza. The mixed starter is excellent, where an octopus is served on a chickpea cream and many other various delicacies. The menu is not extensive but this means that everything is cooked on the spot and the products are fresh.

31/08/2024: On the occasion of the August holiday... price increase... when I booked they didn't tell me that the menu was not à la carte... starter expensive and very poor

30/08/2024: Bad experience, I called a week in advance to book a table for 18 people to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. Two days before I went with her and a waitress welcomed us to whom we asked for a table for two and she replied that everything was booked. I explain to her that I wanted to speak to the owner to discuss the menu but she replies to my eighty-year-old mother in a formal and annoyed tone that there are set times to speak to the manager. I called him on the restaurant phone explaining that I came from Rome and was there and he replied to come tomorrow at 6pm. Zero welcome and friendliness, calling them rude is paying them a compliment, never again!!!!

15/08/2024: Good food, friendly staff but it must have been 120 degrees in that room, given the not so low prices, get a new air conditioning system because the existing one isn't really working, as a customer I pay and I want to eat without suffering from that heat there 👎

04/08/2024: Very high level of general professionalism. Really beautiful and welcoming place. Not banal and extremely original. Warm and familiar. The dining room staff is decidedly expert and manages to conduct in an excellent manner. The kitchen staff is top notch. Silent and never disorganized and masterfully conducted. He works the raw materials, very fresh, naturally. The flavors are clear and well defined...never suppressed or altered. Kindness, courtesy, elegance and style paint the fantastic owner of the place. 03/07/2024: Location favolosa, servizio impeccabile, cibo preparazione e presentazione dei piatti eccellenti. Sono stato a cena in questo posto perché conoscevo innanzitutto la villa con la sua storia. Devo dire che il ristorante è stata una piacevole sorpresa. La sala si apre in fondo al corridoio d'ingresso della villa che già di per sé dà l'idea dell'eleganza di questa location. Il servizio è eccellente e il personale gentilissimo e aperto a fornire informazioni su pietanze e vini. Menù con una discreta offerta e ampia scelta sui vini. Il prezzo è nella media dei ristoranti di pari livello. Vista mozzafiato dal giardino. Lo consiglio vivamente.

04/05/2024: È stato come fare un tuffo nel passato, Serena ed il suo staff sono accoglienti e professionali, la Villa è una perla nei castelli Romani, la sua vista non ha rivali. La ristorazione ci ha colpiti, un esperienza da consigliare, per tutti!!!

27/05/2024: Best seafood and one of the best meals overall we had in Italy. Nice atmosphere and good service in the small restaurant. Good selection of wines. About 65 Euros per person with tip.

15/08/2024: An excellent lunch! Very attentive, fast service and friendly waiters. initially I noticed the package of breadsticks already open, I pointed this out to the waiter, who kindly changed it immediately. Even with just the appetizers we were full (first photo). Excellent frying. Not to mention the tiramisu. There were 3 of us, they gave us a discount and in the end we paid for two people. What can I say, given the super honest price it was an excellent mid-August lunch. I will definitely come back again for other occasions.

06/07/2024: After years we decide to try this historic restaurant and I still don't understand the positive reviews. We have seen dishes served with dishes all prepared in advance which are heated or brought cold to the table from the food rack in the corridor. Lots of people who take various fried and fried fish ready in 2 minutes of rather dubious quality. We decide to have 2 simple first courses, lemon linguine and prawns and they take 25 minutes to prepare... 2 large plates of linguine arrive (fortunately the well cooked ones) and the prawns?!? yes and no it must have been 20g... of prawns and NOT prawns as written on the menu. I point this out to the waiter who, with unpleasant turns of phrase, makes us understand that they serve that "type" of prawns in their pasta. As well as other phrases that he would have made a better impression not to say. Furthermore, the prawns had also been cut into pieces to make them look bigger, but do you think that's normal?!? We are not foreigners, we are not customers, we live in Ostia and we have received the message. See you never again, thank you.
