18/07/2024: I booked a dinner last weekend for my partner's birthday and we were super satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. I suggest the tasting menu, full of many dishes with many flavours. We were the first to taste the updated version: Immediately PROMOTED!!!! Even though we were sitting outside, it was quiet all around due to the very quiet neighborhood.

25/08/2024: A real surprise 2 steps from home in a welcoming place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff where you can choose the fish personally, you can see the quality and freshness and the food is very, very good at honest prices. Highly recommended..

22/07/2024: Siamo stati per cena in questo ristorante attirati dal contesto ameno della bella piazza nel verde di san Saba. Abbiamo ordinato un supplì, alici fritte, una margherita ed un filetto di ricciola con verdure grigliate, una coca, acqua e birra alla spina. Supplì nella media, pizza anch'essa nella media con pomodoro un po' acidulo. Buoni invece i piatti di pesce, in particolare la ricciola. Apprezzabile il fatto che ci siano stati portati focaccia e grissini per iniziare. Ciò che rappresenta sicuramente il quid del locale è la posizione lontana da traffico e confusione e con facilità di parcheggio, ideale per trascorrere una piacevole serata estiva. Servizio gentile e veloce. Prezzi nella media, abbiamo speso euro 56,00. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

02/09/2024: I rarely give five stars but Il Ciocco deserves all five. We debated on a few restaurants after visiting Villa Gregoriana as there are a few in Tivoli with views of the gorge and falls. We were so pleased with not only the view at Il Ciocco on its stunning beautiful terrace but the food was melt in your mouth superb! We had mozzarella di buffalo e prosciutto, lemon sauce ravioli, gnocchi, the filet and lemon delicia from lemons from the Amalfi coast and every bite was heavenly. Best meal hands down our whole trip in Rome, Orvieto and Tivoli. The wait staff was kind and attentive and filled our drinks immediately without even us asking them to. It’s a must visit on your itinerary. Bravissimo Il Ciocco!

13/07/2024: Scelto 'il casale del gusto' per una di compleanno sia per le recensioni sia per le foto della location pubblicate sul sito. Bel locale, ampi spazi con piscina, tuttavia la serata non è stata organizzata come era stata illustrata dal proprietario. Aperitivo, mancavano gli stuzzichini e i fritti non sufficienti per tutti gli ospiti. Antipasto solo 4 fette di salumi spalmati sul piatto. I formaggi e le decantate 'fantasie dello chef' non c'erano. A mio avviso vergognoso. Primo e secondo senza una particolare presentazione dello chef. Sola la torta millefoglie molto buona, una delle migliori che abbia mai assaggiato. Bevande limitate, solo su richiesta. E dalla richiesta passava molto tempo perché il servizio era affidato ad un solo cameriere per 18 persone. In sintesi: scarsa organizzazione, presentazione delle pietanze inesistente e un servizio sicuramente migliorabile

19/08/2024: Very welcoming atmosphere. Nice spot to enjoy dinner. Much quieter than the square and lovely view of the ocean. The staff were so happy and pleasant. Food was great and good portions. Excellent value.

16/08/2024: Nice place with terrace overlooking the sea. Very friendly and polite staff. Very freshly made octopus salad and I ate one of the best spaghetti with clams of my life…and I haven't had a few before 🙃

03/09/2024: The waitress wasnt nice, the pizza was just placed on the very edge of the table not waiting for us to move 2 cups away. Then we asked for the bill to pay, kept us waiting 15 minutes, the guy running around with the machine but never arrived to us. I had to ask for the bill again from a different waiter, which arrived 5 minutes later ( the bill was very short, a pizza and a coke, I never thougt it would take 30 minutes to get in my hand), but only the bill arrived no machine to pay. So I had to get up again and ask so I can pay, which is kinda hilarius they dont want the money. Food is nothing special, 3.6 Never return

10/08/2024: We went for a pizza dinner, nice atmosphere, very kind staff. I didn't give 5 stars to the food because I didn't like the pizza and not just me. Delicious fried bruschetta seasoned to perfection but the pizza was made of rubber. Good seasoning but absolutely not the base. I don't. never left an edge of the pizza this evening instead I left that too we will be back to try other dishes

20/07/2024: Overall quite satisfied. There are some things that I would like to recommend: The service is mediocre. The waiter was very kind and attentive, but definitely needs to be trained better. I ordered the raw fish of the day and a fry, specifically asking for them to arrive together. But they didn't arrive together. The fried food arrived about ten minutes after I finished consuming the raw food. When bringing raw and fried food, it would be a good idea to bring something for your hands. The classic water and lemon or the disposable wipe. The towel arrived a long time later, when I asked to replace the now frayed napkin. Be careful with raw foods. The Scampi still had their casings. I cleaned them myself. A separate bowl for scraps (shells, shells) should be brought immediately. I asked for it. The bread? Isn't it customary to offer it in the service? I would have liked it to be brought to the table. The dirty wet towel from the raw food remained on the table until the end of the meal. I had to request another one. Overall the problem was the waiter's lack of experience in following the basic procedures of a service. But in any case I don't feel like condemning it. He was kind. Perhaps instructions should be given "from above". Raw ok. A little sparse for the price. Fried ok. The glass of sparkling, slightly sparkling white wine. But good. Price 50.50. I left 60 for kindness, more precious than professionalism. I would recommend a greater presence of owners or managers in the room. Especially with new customers, more attention would be nice. Perhaps the owner was there (white tuft?) but he was totally uninterested (even a good morning and goodbye was appreciated). Overall, I recommend. I'll be back. Greetings.

15/08/2024: Found by chance, I was amazed by the authenticity and abundance of the portions. Really fresh and good fish. Well prepared Neapolitan menu and more. The desserts are made by them. Fair prices and friendly staff. Small restaurant, but clean and basic.

09/08/2024: ...c'è il vino buono. Locale piccolo, intimo, con pochi coperti, caratteristiche che garantiscono sia la qualità del cibo che del servizio, sempre attento e presente. Abbiamo avuto modo di provare l'ottima pizza napoletana, ben cotta e condita, dall'impasto altamente digeribile, e i fritti, tutti buonissimi (abbiamo gradito particolarmente la squisita Montanara). Prezzi più che onesti: mix di fritti per tre persone come antipasto, due pizze, due montanare 4 birre e acqua per 50€. Consigliata la prenotazione.
