18/05/2025: Welcomed and helped to get along better after a MTB ride, we ate and drank with great satisfaction. The waitress with glasses was very nice and welcoming. Would I go back? Of course!

04/05/2025: The dining room staff was courteous and helpful, however the pizzas were disappointing. In particular, I find it unacceptable to have requested the addition of porcini mushrooms and instead find myself with poor quality canned mushrooms (champignons or pleurotus), cooked in a truly unpleasant way. The flavor of the porcini mushroom is unmistakable, especially for those who are used to enjoying it fresh in areas where it grows in abundance. To make the experience worse, the wait was unnerving: at one point we even thought our order had been forgotten.

27/05/2025: Company dinner, nice atmosphere, helpful and courteous staff. Dinner based on abundant fish but overcooked fish, swordfish, tuna and amberjack mistreated by overcooking. Group dinners are probably not their strong point, it deserves another chance

My wife and I ordered a bottle of the house red wine, which was very good I might say and we had some bruschetta for our antipasti. For our main course my wife ordered a type of flat steak skirt and I had the rigatoni with polpo. The steak was ok, just a little overcooked and a lot of gristle. My rigatoni had very good flavor but little polpo in it. Overall not a bad dinner choice.

30/05/2025: Consiglio vivamente questo posto, molto tranquillo, per una serata di relax e buon cibo.
Gentilissimo il personale, abbiamo avuto modo anche di chiacchierare con la cucina per fare loro i complimenti e si sono mostrati gentilissimi e super disponibili, come d’altronde tutto lo staff. Consiglio, non capitavamo in un posto così bello da tanto.

28/05/2025: Abundant dishes with quality fish, impeccable and fast service despite having gone when the Americo Vespucci was there so I can imagine the turnout considering that the ship was docked right in front of the restaurant.
The pizza was also excellent both for the quality and for the price.
Thank you very much for the beautiful experience you made us try. Highly recommended

06/04/2025: A very nice sandwich bar located in the center of Gaeta. On Saturday evenings there is always karaoke. Excellent food, staff always friendly. It is also very convenient for parking.
18/01/2025: Terrible, empty, I order a cappuccino and croissant but I'm forbidden to have breakfast at the counter "we are working at the counter, we don't have breakfast, only coffee" (???)

14/01/2025: Andato a Gaeta per vedere le luminarie e staccare un pò la spina..spinti dalla pubblicità in giro per il centro e sotto consiglio del proprietario del B&b decidiamo di andare a provare "la Cocina di Popolla" per cena.
Essendo una sera di Gennaio ci accomodiamo nella sala interna ma ha spazio anche esterno. Locale gradevole ed accogliente , servizio altrettanto cortese e attento alle richieste.
Appena entrati come benvenuto ci danno una sorta di "Bun" con scarole, per antipasto ho provato dei gamberi in tempura e una mayonese a limone fatta da loro e come primo un pacchero con polpo e olive nere.
Riassumendo il tutto era gradevole, (maggiormente i paccheri e la loro mayonese notevole) ma tutte e tre le pietanze provate avevano un unico comune denominatore : Troppo Condimento! ..
Contando che i prezzi per i primi sono anche un poco sopra la media, bisognerebbe aspettarsi anche pietanze "sopra la media" per fare un upgrade" e giustificare il tutto.
Punto di vista che ho espresso anche allo Chef il quale è presente e gira sovente tra i tavoli, cordiale e simpatico.
