14/08/2025: The younger staff were polite, the older ones were too friendly. For exchanging a bottle of water for a can of Coke, I think the manager of the place was insinuating that I was creating a queue behind them. Impolite attitude towards those who bring money to the business.

17/11/2025: It was my first time dining here, despite having been in the area for a while... we made a quick reservation and managed to get a table just in time. The restaurant has two spaces, one inside and one outside, and a few tables, making it intimate. The menu is primarily seafood-based; we ordered classic spaghetti with clams, swordfish, and the classic "vodapiatto." Everything was prepared with care and attention; I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good. I recommend it to anyone spending a pleasant evening in Gaeta.

10/10/2025: We had pizza (excellent), rice with scampi cream (delicious), and spaghetti with clams, also delicious. The portions aren't huge, but they were perfect for my taste. We arrived at 8:00 PM and were able to have a conversation easily. When the place filled up, it became impossible. We'll definitely be back.

21/08/2025: We stumbled upon this fantastic place several years ago by chance. We couldn't do without it anymore. The apartments on the sea are comfortable, clean, large, well-furnished, and above all, immaculately kept. The breakfasts, with delicious homemade desserts, are a special mention for the donut and the banana and chocolate chip cookies, truly addictive. The staff is always available. The restaurant serves fresh, well-cooked fish with carefully prepared and abundant dishes. We return every year for a few weekends. This year we had the pleasure of staying longer, and there are no words to describe the family feeling we found. Thank you so much, Maria and all your fantastic staff.

30/10/2025: For your information, I'm on the island a few months a year and I've seen this restaurant's prices keep increasing. It's very shameful to see the article that just came out in the newspaper; it advertised €230 per kilo of lobster 🦞 in their restaurant, which is false because on the island we're more like €60 per kilo. It's really a tourist trap, and it's true that the portions are frustrating and the service needs improvement because the employees' smiles aren't exactly cheerful…

They basically sold the agreed-upon amount, perhaps for a more profitable banquet. Scoundrels.

16/02/2026: Sunday lunch with friends: Warmed by the February sun and cheered by Camilla's smile, we casually decided to stop here. It turned out to be an excellent choice: a charming location, super-fast, friendly service, and attentive to our every need. The food was sublime—special mention for the mussels— and for the fried fish, incredibly fresh and expertly fried. Prices in line with the quality of the offerings. I can't believe the negative reviews. Well done, keep it up. See you next time.

02/02/2026: Taking advantage of a beautiful sunny day, I decided to eat at this beach restaurant. I had creamy scampi risotto (very good) and fried seafood, which was not only delicious but also very filling. All this was accompanied by a good Falanghina wine and a sunny day that made the lunch truly enjoyable. Truly satisfied.

14/09/2025: A beach resort, Puntarossa, which is, first and foremost, a restaurant: da Renatone. The owner and his family will welcome you with their authenticity, as genuine as their cuisine. The menu is simple (the daily specials are delicious), yet the cuisine fully showcases the flavors of the freshest ingredients (garlic and onion are prohibited). Must-try dishes include the bruschetta with chicory and prawns, the spaghetti with clams, the catch of the day (baked with mixed vegetables), and the fried fish, which I dare say is perfect: dry (without oil) and crispy. The service is decidedly authentic, sometimes unfortunately confused, but always friendly.

06/12/2025: The Old Station Bar in Gaeta offers a welcoming and refined atmosphere, with courteous and helpful staff, perfect for enjoying excellent coffees, drinks, and snacks in a pleasant atmosphere ideal for both quick breaks and relaxing moments with friends.
