20/02/2025: Very good food at a good price. Nice service. Casual authentic atmosphere. The place is hidden from the hustle and bustle of tourists, which translates into reasonable prices. A liter of good table wine in a carafe only 10 euros (we drank white frizzante - very tasty). Pizzas start from 5 euros :) I highly recommend it. If I'm nearby, I'll definitely come back to Golden Italy :)

19/02/2025: Excellent food, large portions, flexible staff even for an entire class of students. Pizza only in the evening, but there is a great choice of other delicious dishes at lunchtime.

04/01/2025: Posto bellissimo, con un bel tramonto, ma vi sconsiglio di utilizzare i loro servizi. Conviene entrare e prendersi solo una cosa da bere e basta, il resto è terribile! L'aperitivo sembra una presa in giro, dopo aver fatto lo scontrino ci hanno spiegato come funzionava (si poteva ordinare da bere alle ragazze dal tavolo e poi loro stesse avrebbero portato a rotazione i fritti) peccato che dopo un'ora dal cocktail ci hanno informato che ormai l'aperitivo era finito. Per ordinare le pizze, con locale vuoto, ci sono volute 2ore i pizzettai mi sembravano non proprio a loro agio con il forno e le pizze . Peccato avere un posto incredibile e non saperlo far rendere a dovere, abbiamo capito solo alla fine perché c'era così poca gente. Peccato rovinare il nome dell'Osteria del Borgo (che in teoria fornirebbe solo le pizze e non le birre, incredibile) dove invece funziona tutto alla perfezione con un servizio

31/12/2024: The place is very nice, but rude staff. I had confirmation of this again today when I enrolled my son in their baby sailing course for children aged 4 to 6 years. Being from Milan we had called in advance and they assured us that the course was dedicated to the little ones and that the child could do the first day of testing to see if he liked it. My wife took the day off to accompany him and see how the course was carried out. When he arrived he was told that the child was too small, even though he was 4 and a half years old, adding that he was too frail, when in fact he was quite in line with his age and was even taller and more massive than most of his classmates. However, they rudely refused, calling my wife an inconsiderate mother who puts her son in danger to get him out of the way, when they are the incompetent ones who talk about courses for children from 4 to 6 years old without probably calibrating them to the age of the children, we didn't expect him to do a regatta alone, but rather to learn the basics of sailing in a playful way. We conclude with them who, almost as if they were doing us a favour, decide to reimburse us for the day we have already paid for weeks. Meanwhile, my wife has taken a day and now we have to find a last second summer center. If you can't offer services for 4 year olds please don't promote them, it would make you look better.

10/12/2024: Il classico posto in cui andare per il pranzo della domenica in famiglia o in coppia. Cibo fantastico e menu davvero curato. Nella bella stagione la chicca è mangiare con i piedi sulla sabbia. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Un locale intimo,ospitale e curato nel minimo dettaglio. Ho apprezzato che ci abbiamo preso i cappotti e riposti nell'appendiabiti. Le due cameriere che ci hanno servito oltre ad essere empatiche e cordiali hanno dimostrato molta professionalità nel consigliare ma soprattutto nel raccontare i loro prodotti. 16/02/2025: I am reviewing because I was also asked by the restaurateurs themselves. So: table for 5 with reservation and many errors during the service: we were 4 adults but only 3 glasses were filled with prosecco (the fourth on subsequent request), in my starter there was an 'unpleasant' hair and I wasn't given a reservation for what I had to discard (nor did I receive an apology for the accident), the order of the two pigs requested arrived incredibly late compared to the other dishes ordered... for the rest, it was the second time in this place and I have to say, with great regret, that compared to the first time I noticed considerable inattention and also a reduction in the quantities in the dishes. The quality of the food in general is decent, the price high compared to the service received and portions (particularly the platter). The end of the meal was appreciated with tastings of different liqueurs and homemade biscuits.

23/02/2025: arrivati alle 11:30 solo mezz’ora per ordinare, prendiamo l’ordine di un semplice pezzo di pizza rossa e due bicchieri d’acqua, altri 20 min prima che ci venga servito. persone arrivate dopo di noi hanno ordinato più cose e prima di noi quando stavamo già aspettando da mezz’ora

23/02/2025: io e il mio compagno siamo andati a fare colazione alle 11:30, erano le 11:50 e ancora dovevamo ordinare(un semplice pezzo di pizza), una volta ordinato erano le 12:12 e ancora dovevano portarci l’ordine, al che ci siamo alzati per chiedere informazioni e li ci è stato portato il pezzo di pizza freddo.

14/02/2025: If you love fish, especially raw fish, the Barra restaurant is a must. The quality of the fish is extraordinary, very fresh and processed with care. The raw meat, in particular, was the real protagonist of the evening, with perfect cuts and refined combinations. In addition to the top-notch cuisine, the service was impeccable. Special thanks to Gianni and Francesco, attentive to detail, available and always ready to recommend the right dish. With their professionalism and courtesy they made the experience even more pleasant! Definitely a place to return to!

01/02/2025: I got raw meats and sauces from them on Tuesday evening for a dinner at home. Result: excellent! Everything delicious and super fresh. The staff at the restaurant are super friendly and helpful both when ordering and picking up. I will definitely use you again!

15/12/2024: Unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations. The water was bottled and the house white wine was not of good quality. The crouton with porcini mushrooms was too greasy, while the ravioli with salmon cream had an unclear flavour. Even the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms were not successful, resulting too sticky. The service was kind, especially for offering pasta to our child, but the wait of over an hour for the dishes was really long. I'm sorry to say, but overall the lunch was not satisfying.

The place isn't bad but maybe I would do a few tweaks again, especially the fake grass on the walls doesn't seem hygienically recommended to me. The pizza definitely needs improvement. Fried appetizers normal. Prices...a little pricey.

09/02/2025: Very good pizza (both dough and toppings): I tried the high "Neapolitan" one but I was skeptical, but it was very good, light and soft! The guys who serve are friendly and approachable, very nice atmosphere, youthful, modern and welcoming... even the tiramisu was delicious, fair prices, in short, good, we will be back with other friends!
