09/11/2025: Just finished lunch, authentic food, very fair prices, very helpful staff. Autumn menu featuring fish (but there was also a meat option), from appetizer to dessert, drinks included, all for €30 per person. One of the few restaurants worthy of the name. The dessert deserves a special mention: cheesecake with fresh berries. Delicious. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: The experience was already terrible when it came to choosing the courses, as Mrs. Regina didn't even know the dishes included in the Cisternone appetizer. The uncertainty of the display made me think they'd improvised from whatever was in the pantry or refrigerator. At this point, I opted for a platter; the cured meats and cheeses were not bad, but I still didn't understand how the pumpkin had been prepared. At the lady's recommendation (never again), I chose the paccheri porcini and gamberoni. Just tasting one because I was already scared by the color of the sauce, apparently dark due to the poor-quality frozen-frozen prawns and the mushrooms listed on the menu as porcini. Unfortunately, it was a mix of sautéed mushrooms (frozen-frozen), I was disgusted, and not even the very acidic red wine could cover the pasta's terrible flavor. In the end, I decided to pay the bill and opt for another restaurant in the area that I'm about to review.

29/11/2025: Terrible experience. I honestly can't give a review of the food because the staff at this restaurant is so rude that we left before the appetizer. The first waitress who ordered drinks was so annoyed and aggressive that you were afraid to ask for anything. Then another waitress came to order food. This one was even worse, she couldn't even hide her annoyance; she got really angry when we asked for ice for our wine. At that point, we got up and left. I must say, the owner was mortified by his employees' behavior.

15/09/2025: I've been going there for years, ever since it was still called Acquarius. Over the years, it's transformed into a charming place (it used to be just a pizzeria with a beach club) thanks to significant investments. I don't frequent the beach club so much as the restaurant, where I've always found courtesy and a willingness to accommodate even off-menu requests (when possible). The fish is fresh and you can taste it, the cuisine is sophisticated but not overly so, and the wine list is excellent and frequently updated. The only flaw is that they no longer serve my favorite white wine, a Ceretto Arneis—a shame. For the rest, my compliments, truly...

28/09/2025: Arm yourself with patience, we wanted to order a first course and a second course, but it wasn't possible. Orders are taken only by course type, meaning you order the first course first, then you eat, and then you order the second course. It's the first time this has happened to me. We waited about an hour for the first course, which was good, but then we decided against ordering the second course due to the time constraints. Ultimately, the food should be good if you can get it.

16/11/2025: I love this restaurant! The food is delicious and always fresh, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant: there's never a rush here, you can enjoy your meal at your leisure without feeling pressured. At the same time, the service was quick and attentive, so you don't have to wait long for your food. The place is spacious and clean, and the staff is friendly. Every time I pass by, I can't help but stop here. One of my most pleasant dining experiences!

10/11/2025: Today, we came for lunch, for my husband's birthday. After a long time, we returned to eat at this historic restaurant. What a disappointment! I remembered good food, kind and knowledgeable waiters, a vast selection of dishes, abundance, coordination between the dining room and kitchen, and above all, honesty in the presentation of the final bill! There is none of this anymore! The mixed seafood appetizers arrived at the table lacking in everything, alas, they already boded ill for the worst, paltry, bland. After 50 minutes, the first courses arrived, first two, the third diner first looked at the others and then ate alone! The basics, the basics are missing, synchronizing the arrival of the dishes at a table, can't be that complicated, especially when there are three of them in total! The fettuccine with red prawns was bland and overcooked, I even seriously doubt its freshness. The spaghetti with clams had only empty shells, barely enough; I basically ate garlic, oil, and chili pepper. The main courses, like the fried fish and mixed roast fish, were barely adequate—half portions, so to speak! The waiter, incredibly agitated, was pacing around; but he accomplished little, between one rush and another. He reassured us countless times that they were plating up and that our orders would arrive soon—of course! We ordered three different desserts, the only one that stood out was a chocolate one, which I saw at another customer's table, which he didn't even mention to us. The coffees were extremely strong and burnt. To recap, 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 2 second courses, 1 side dish, 3 desserts, 3 coffees, 1 water, 1 Coke Zero, 3 glasses of wine (we had asked for Chardonnay and an anonymous wine arrived that had already vanished) for the modest sum of €186.00. €62.00 per person. It seems excessive to me, especially considering the poor food. I deliberately didn't leave a tip when leaving. These gentlemen are experts in the industry, with tons of experience in the restaurant business, which I believe they've been doing for a century now. Trying to generate record profits at this low level today is presumptuous, so I'll stop here. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere, perhaps with someone who has the desire and passion to do this job, who wants to renew themselves and grow professionally!!!

23/09/2025: A super cozy family restaurant in Le Forna, known for fresh fish dishes. We've tried and especially recommend pasta with clams and the paccheri with scorfano. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff provides personalized service. Perfect for a quick aperitivo (as they open late afternoon) or a leisurely dinner away from the hustle and bustle. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is popular with locals and visitors alike.

19/10/2025: The location is undoubtedly beautiful, a highlight between Anzio and Marina di Ardea. The coastline lends itself to long, beautiful walks, sport fishing competitions, and you might even spot jockeys and horses in groups from the nearby stables... and, most importantly, plenty of beach resorts. After a lovely stroll, we stopped here for lunch. The atmosphere is clean, the staff are friendly, and the restrooms are the same as those found at beach resorts. We enjoyed the menu, which included two first courses and two second courses based on fish, one mussel sauté, and one sautéed chicory. The cuisine appeals to all palates, and if you want to add a pinch of salt, just ask. We also had bottled water and chilled house white wine with our dishes. The total cost was €70.00.

16/09/2025: Clean environment by the sea. Fettuccine allo scoglio and fried calamari and shrimp excellent. Honest prices.

25/09/2025: Outrageous prices: €16 for a half-portion of buttered fettuccine for a two-year-old. I certainly didn't want them on sale, but at a fair price, yes.

09/11/2025: Shameful! It's a shame because the restaurant has a lot of potential, but... Paying €14 for a penne pasta (which was also bad) for a 2-year-old is madness!!!!!

29/10/2025: Terrible food. Yesterday, October 28, 2025, I had lunch with my daughter and my one-year-old granddaughter. The little one happily ate pasta with fresh tomato sauce. I ordered it for myself. It was absolutely disgusting. Even the little one refused it. Having paid 14 euros for it, I keep asking myself... "What kind of tomatoes was it cooked with?" This is the last time we'll go. The NAS should check us out. Who knows, they might find something irregular. I'm also disgusted by what my pregnant daughter tried to eat. I'm speechless!

16/10/2025: The place and the food are fine, but the service is terrible. They didn't give us much time to choose. Also, there were three of us, and we were only allowed two food options, so the third had to choose between those two... I don't know if this only happens at lunchtime. We won't be back.

16/10/2025: The best fettuccine I've ever had. I would 100% go back for the food, but not for the service, which leaves a little to be desired.
