27/05/2026: We spent a very comfortable winter at Nautilus Marina. Our boat was dry-docked, where some maintenance work was carried out (bowtraster, through-hull fitting, antifouling, and topside polishing). The staff were all very professional and, above all, very welcoming, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.

27/05/2026: A good shipyard just 1.3 miles from the mouth of the Tiber. Decent parking and a good nautical supplies shop. Ferry service for boats moored on the island in the middle of the Tiber.

09/06/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday evening, recommended by friends. Perfect advice, I'd say. We initially had a table in an air-conditioned room facing us, and they quickly accommodated us by offering us an even larger table. They served us very attentively and kindly explained each dish to us. We had four different fish appetizers, all delicious, two fish first courses, a fried dish, and a fish second course. Furthermore, there was a celiac at the table, and they provide all gluten-free options. Highly recommended for an excellent dinner in a friendly, family atmosphere.

02/06/2026: A welcoming restaurant with dishes that can surprise you. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening; both the pizzas and the first and second courses were delicious. An excellent choice, especially for those with celiac disease, as they take great care to differentiate gluten-free dishes from those that may be contaminated.

16/06/2026: The stars could be even lower, but to be honest, the food wasn't bad and the location is nice, though the outdoor seating is a bit less so. The problem is the exorbitant prices, not just for the quality but in general. I chose a pizza "with Fassona carpaccio" out of curiosity, and I was served a perfectly normal pizza with bresaola, arugula, and parmesan for a whopping €16! A marinara, the quintessential basic pizza, shouldn't cost €12, and a cup of strawberries with no toppings and just a dollop of cream was a whopping €10. There's no justification for these prices, even if they were of excellent quality, which they weren't. Thumbs down.

17/05/2026: Terrible! Too long a wait, and then we received the wrong dishes. We arrived at 1:30 PM, and by 3:20 PM we had only eaten the appetizer. Even though we arrived before another table, we ate later than them. The best part was that the other table apologized for the excessive delay in eating and was offered an extra dish for the wait; we were not told anything. I went to pay at the cashier to complain about what had happened, but no one asked me how my lunch had gone. The dishes were decent; the mussels and pecorino cheese packages are only 7, so if you're hungry, don't order them (imagine my face after waiting two hours for just 7 packages). Never again; the wait and the quality of the dishes aren't worth the expense.

17/05/2026: What a great discovery in Focene! 🌊🍤 ​We had lunch at the Arcobaleno Beach Resort restaurant in Focene and had a truly enjoyable experience. We opted for an entirely seafood-based menu and were thoroughly satisfied. ​Everything was delicious, starting with the appetizers, which were a perfect start. The real highlight of the day was the scampi cream risotto: simply exquisite, creamy, and perfectly flavorful! ​For first courses, we also tried the spaghetti with clams: perhaps a touch more flavorful than usual, but still absolutely delightful. Among the second courses, if the choice of fish (perhaps a little bland for my taste) didn't completely impress us, the fried fish made up for it: dry, crispy, and delicious! ​Overall, we had a wonderful time: the beach atmosphere, the good food, and the warm welcome make us want to return. Recommended for a relaxing day and excellent seafood on the coast! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

27/04/2026: Let me start by saying that I don't like to leave negative reviews; in fact, I don't think I ever have. But I think it's my duty, to protect the next person who decides to go to this restaurant. We went to eat here just yesterday, even though we were all the way from Rome. My partner and his mother had been there for the holidays and (strangely) had a great time. Needless to say, the second experience was worse than awful. My extremely negative opinion goes to the dishes. One WORSE than the other. The food was overcooked, soft, and obviously OLD. As a true Romagna native, I obviously know how to recognize good fish. But what really bothered me was the owners' extreme indifference. The plates came back completely full, from the first to the last, and if anyone said anything, nothing at all... needless to say, nothing was removed from the bill. Never again.

I have to say, everything was 5-star, from the quality of the food (essential) to the service and your kindness, even in calling me back when I tried to call at lunchtime but you were closed. Well done! The dishes were beautifully plated, the portions were just right, the bread was excellent, and the homemade pasta was amazing. Kudos also for the "vodapiatto" (a typical dish-to-table presentation) here in Gaeta, but most restaurants aren't up to par, whereas yours was excellent. I'll be back soon to try other dishes.

07/05/2026: I visited La Perla during a weekend in Terracina and I must say it was a truly pleasant discovery. The place is simple but very welcoming, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. I especially appreciated the friendliness of the staff: always helpful and attentive, even when the restaurant was full. I tried both the pizza and a fish-based entree and was very satisfied. The pizza had a light, well-leavened dough, very digestible, while the spaghetti with clams was generous and flavorful, with fresh, well-cooked ingredients. The fried fish was also excellent, dry and crispy to perfection. The prices seemed absolutely fair for the quality and portions offered. The only small complaint is that during busy periods, service can be a bit slow, but nothing that detracts from the experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine place to eat good food, especially fish and pizza, without too many pretensions but with plenty of substance. I will definitely return when I pass through Terracina again.
