13/04/2026: We returned to Duende after four years and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The empanadas had a lukewarm, almost cold, tomato filling, and the potatoes were cold. The meat was also not cooked to our expectations. We regret having to pass this judgment, but the quality of the food was definitely better four years ago.

12/04/2026: I expected more! The dishes aren't up to par with Spanish tradition. The prices are high.

02/04/2026: Nonexistent service and an incredibly rude owner A terrible experience. At 11:00 PM, after an hour and a half of waiting, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. Despite having asked for updates 40 minutes earlier and being reassured that we were "next," we continued to see only takeout pizzas. The worst part was the owner's reaction when we decided to leave: he tried to blame us for arriving at 9:30 PM instead of 9:00 PM. A pointless excuse, given that the place was already full and the kitchen was clearly backed up. The worst moment came when, with rare arrogance, he asked what we did for a living and dared to respond with a "shut up!" to a woman at our table. Disgraceful and totally unprofessional behavior. If you want to be treated with respect, go to another pizzeria.

03/03/2026: Horrific experience: we booked an 18th birthday party at the end of May last month, and they called us yesterday to tell us the venue was no longer available and that we could come by to collect our deposit. They basically sold the agreed-upon amount, perhaps for a more profitable banquet. Scoundrels.

02/03/2026: The dish of the day, spaghetti with clams, cooked cherry tomatoes, and bottarga, was absolutely delicious and I'd love to try it myself at home, I loved it so much. We all ordered fish starters and main courses and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The fried fish was exquisite, and the potato-crusted sea bream was tasty and filling. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

The service is attentive without being intrusive, fast but never rushed. You can tell that the people who work here love what they do. And the food... the food speaks for itself. Every dish has a story to tell: carefully selected ingredients, flavors that make sense, presentation meticulous without being overbearing. Nothing forced, everything about substance. Mare Fritto isn't just a restaurant. It's one of those rare places you return to not just to eat well, but simply because you feel good.

23/03/2026: The service was top-notch. We were greeted by a lovely waitress and the chef himself. We ordered Scoglio and Fritto misto. The portions are quite large. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh. We'd love to come back again. Visited March 2026

01/04/2026: I had a glass of the white wine they serve open. It was not very good. Then I had a risotto with artichokes and gamberini as a first, followed by gamberi agli agrumi as a second course. the food was good. As I did not like the white anv had already finished my Seafood when i got served again, I tried the red wine they serve open. It was bad. But except for the open wines a good experience. if you can avoid them drink something different.

28/03/2026: Excellent pizza and friendly staff. It was recommended to us by another restaurant owner, which is definitely a plus. We'll be back to try the seafood!

16/01/2026: One of the absolute best restaurants I've ever had, this warm and charming Nettuno establishment always makes me feel welcomed and pampered. The wine selection, even the small ones, is excellent, and the selection of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options—my favorites—is extensive and very inviting. Unbeatable dishes include the handmade pumpkin tortelli, the vegetable lasagna, the dogfish cacciatore, and some delicious desserts that will take your breath away… Definitely worth a try!

23/03/2026: A wonderful evening with a wonderful dinner... like the al dente, well-creamed, abundant spaghetti alla pescatora, the tasty and fresh fried calamari and shrimp, perfectly crispy... great courtesy, professionalism, and customer service. Healthy, traditional cuisine, excellent location just steps from the sea! The staff was also attentive and courteous! Highly recommended! When I return to Civitavecchia, I'll be back! A great place to visit!

07/03/2026: Negative... extremely unpleasant food. Spaghetti with clams full of oil and with flavors that didn't blend. Seafood risotto was overcooked and tasted like iron... what spices do they use? Rust? Fried fish made in who knows what oil, and rubbery grilled squid... the house wine was unspeakable... decor stuck in the '80s, and chaotic service...

11/04/2026: The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. The owners are kind and helpful. The food is very good, the wait time is short, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. But let's get to the lack of service. They brought us a wine, opened it, and left it there without pouring it or asking to taste it. Mixed appetizer (cooked and raw). The hot dish was served before the raw dish. It's a mistake; the delicacy of the raw dish is altered if served after the hot dish, and it's not done anyway. Not a single course was explained, so we didn't know if we were eating raw meagre, sea bass, or anything else, or even what was in the hot dishes or the meatballs. They were brought and then ran away. The first courses were excellent, the fried food was overcooked and the oil was used too much, so the fried food was very dark. But I would always recommend it. Aside from the slightly distracted service, the food is very, very good.

30/03/2026: We ate at this seafood restaurant today and were truly satisfied. The appetizers were a real surprise: delicious and beautifully presented, with a selection of fresh, flavorful dishes. But what really won us over were the first courses: in particular, the seafood maltagliati, amazing! The homemade pasta was perfect, and the rich, flavorful sauce enhanced the flavor of the fresh fish. I highly recommend this experience to all seafood lovers. We'll definitely be back!
