30/12/2024: Small and essential place, with few tables, which is why booking is preferable. Menu with few courses but cooked very well by chef Andrea with fresh fish generously seasoned with truly delicious oil. Excellent spaghetti with clams. The fried prawns and calamari and the typical Gaeta tiella are also very tasty. I would like to point out the great willingness to adapt the dishes for guests with food intolerances (other than celiac disease) like the writer. Highly recommended.

23/08/2024: Have eaten here a couple years ago and it was OK. Went back today and it just had this air of "we were in Julia Roberts movie, who tf are you?" Menü didn't have any of the items from the movie, no pizza either, like 3 pasta plates one of which is €30... We were happy we left and found a real Italian experience down the street.

22/08/2024: We have been on the terrace having a prosecco and a beer. It is wonderful, they have brought us snacks and it is not expensive at all, on the contrary, the cheapest we have been to in the area. Excellent quality-price ratio. To return one day yes and another too.

24/12/2024: Last night, guests of our uncles in Rome we went to eat at the Archetto and what can I say......a thousand reasons to go back!!!!......delicious and welcoming place, excellent food (we tasted a mix of appetizers, pizzas and to finish the dessert...."shoes" with nutella.....finger licking!!! actually crazy!!! 😋😍), we were served by the owner.... .very kind and helpful person in offering us advice on what to eat ......a place that I certainly recommend 👍

04/11/2024: Very kind in the service. Excellent food, which can also be enjoyed directly on site. I was also able to taste the arancini and I tell you, as a Sicilian, they are really good even if (as a good Catanese) for me the arancini are with the tip... ;-))

08/12/2024: We were looking for a pizzeria and tried to ask, with little hope, if they had room. They did everything to please us and they succeeded. Polite staff, kind and attentive to customer needs, very good and light pizza. Congratulations to all the staff.

21/12/2024: I ate a good pizza. I would have preferred drier. In my opinion the dough should be more hydrated and more leavened. But I liked it in the end. The staff is kind. The place is welcoming.

18/12/2024: The pizza is good, although I remember a lighter dough in the past. Furthermore, it would be desirable to also try using wholemeal flours given the enormous advantages from a health point of view.

04/01/2025: Delicious first courses, the place is very nice (the tables arrive when it is high season almost all the way to the beach) and the service is friendly and welcoming. I have to say the negative part though... a plate of raw seafood for two people €60? Of course, the price is clear on the menu, but it doesn't seem right if for two people they bring you 2 oysters (ette ette...), 2 red prawns (mine was still frozen near the head), 2 prawns and 1 tartare ( to be divided obviously) seems decidedly excessive to me. I paid, complimented but I think we should sometimes be a little more generous and understand when we are exaggerating... I will return, as I have done for five years now, but I will certainly no longer take the raw ones. I'm truly sorry about this.

19/08/2024: Very welcoming atmosphere. Nice spot to enjoy dinner. Much quieter than the square and lovely view of the ocean. The staff were so happy and pleasant. Food was great and good portions. Excellent value.

16/08/2024: Nice place with terrace overlooking the sea. Very friendly and polite staff. Very freshly made octopus salad and I ate one of the best spaghetti with clams of my life…and I haven't had a few before 🙃

02/01/2025: Amatriciana a masterpiece! We had dinner at this restaurant by chance. We pointed out to the boy in the dining room that we had little time, and with extreme courtesy and great kindness, he accompanied us to this quick dinner! Best Amatriciana eaten so far, congratulations to the chef!!! Good carbonara, it does its job. What really struck us, however, was the passion, friendliness and elegance of the boy from Sala! We'll be back soon!

02/01/2025: Was looking for an early dinner near FCO. Owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great and the restaurant atmosphere seemed perfect. We will definitely return the next time we go through FCO.
