osteria Titina In Cassino

Today, June 2nd, I visited the Osteria da Titina on the Casilina road to Cassino and I was impressed by the quality of the dishes, the quality-price ratio is excellent, the staff was very kind, I highly recommend trying it, exquisite food, especially the linguine with lots of fish, excellent fried fish that was not soaked in oil, etc. It is recommended.

The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, starting with the location: a gas station. Fixed-price menus with a choice of meat and fish: €20 and €25, served fairly quickly. The bruschetta with black bread...needs to be reconsidered, as it was bread and tomato! The pasta was good: gnocchi with eggplant and sausage; the main course was less good: veal prosciutto, but nothing exceptional. They didn't serve dessert due to the heat, but only five pieces of fruit (there were five in total) with a flavorless melon. All in all, for €20, it's worth it, with no extras (not even a cover charge) and two complimentary coffees.

Excellent value for money, everything tastes good, clean environment and friendly staff, the set menu idea was a great one, the seafood menu had a fried fish that alone was worth the price of the menu. If you're passing through Cassino, try it.

Yesterday my partner and I stopped for lunch at this wonderful osteria... after a motorbike trip, we stuffed our stomachs with culinary delicacies... ordering the 20 euro fixed menu full of flavour and with generously filled dishes... the dessert at the end together with the coffee closed this satisfying menu... and for those who don't like meat at only 25 euros excellent fish menu... the staff were very kind... we left happy... promising to return again with our biker friends... for those who want to visit the Montecassino Abbey and afterwards don't know where to eat... stop at the Tittina osteria... try it and believe it... a big thank you to the blonde with the bob

How could I not give this fantastic place five stars? It's a family-friendly atmosphere, fast service, excellent food, and perfect tourist prices. We had both the mate and land menus, and we couldn't fault anything. I didn't take many photos because, between the tasty dishes and the chat with the owner, it was a relaxing lunch. Congratulations!
