27/03/2024: Warmly welcomed by friendly staff in a rustic atmosphere. The stylish wood-fired oven in the entrance immediately catches the eye. The fact that the restaurant is fully booked on a Wednesday lunchtime speaks for itself. The friendly service and the top pizza with fluffy dough, together with the above-mentioned ambience, only allow for a 5 star rating. 2x tuna pizza 2x Cola 1x mousse eau chocolate with cake = 32 euros More than fair. Definitely highly recommended for us. 👍🏻

01/04/2024: A family occasion, three generations of women at lunch. Pampered with kindness, staff present but discreet. Excellent food, as always. In the photo a Crudité appetizer and a Grand Gratin without garlic, mussels in busara, grilled octopus (without the parmesan cream), king prawn tails on truffle cream, grilled prawns on a bed of mixed salad. No photo for the baked potato portion. A simple glera and some water to soak everything up and three coffees at the end of the meal. Price more than correct for the quality of the food and the service (€55 each)

13/01/2024: I love this place, the staff are lovely, the food is to die for and the wine assortment is perfect. Massimo cooks locally caught fish there. My favorite dishes are, the sardoni alla Massimo, the cozze, the shellfish pasta and the mixed fry which is light and cooked to perfection. It is without a doubt the best place where you can eat fish in Trieste!

Original dishes, with attention to taste and not to special effects. Excellent asparagus with delicate quail egg soufflé. Snapper ravioli that are striking for their strong flavour. Sea bass with a curious combination with saffron purée. Wine with varied choice. Perfect space to combine vitality and discretion. Perfect location for walking through the pedestrian area of ​​the centre.

17/03/2024: Locale estremamente piccolo ma allo stesso tempo accogliente, le portate abbondanti e soprattutto squisite. Una cucina come se la facesse tua nonna la domenica a pranzo. Consigliassimo.

25/11/2023: Locale piccolo, coccoloso e di altri tempi. Cucina schietta di mare con pesce freschissimo. Gina è una cuoca di altri tempi, attenta ai sapori e realizza i suoi piatti con amore che si trasmette in ogni boccone; sembra di tornare bambini ai tempi in cui mamme e nonne si riunivano per cucinare nei giorni di festa. Roby in sala è un personaggio, apparentemente burbero, ma in realtà con un cuore d'oro. Difende le tradizioni, e seleziona la clientela con un " radar" naturale"... O gli piaci o nemmeno ti accomodi nel locale... nemmeno se è vuoto. Ma se incontrate la Sua empatia, vi sentirete trattati come persone di famiglia ed andrete via con un bel ricordo.... Varied and interesting menu, offers very particular dishes, well presented and tasty. Good quality/price. Advised!

31/03/2024: Fun experience if taken philosophically. Friendly and kind service, the room imaginatively furnished. When it comes to lunch, you can certainly save extra virgin olive oil and salt. For the rest: the sea bream served RAW with heart and ricotta after the report and a bill of €90 for 4 covers, a fish served raw, with potatoes burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, and an appetizer from Lidl. The menu and price list are missing. I really don't recommend it.

02/04/2024: This is how you imagine an Osteria in Trieste 👍. The selection and quality of the antipasti could hardly be better. The fish soup was great. The service was excellent. Of course the open Prosecco and the espresso too.🥂There were four of us and we hadn't made a reservation. But the server organized a great place for us. We'll definitely be happy to come back.
