Il titolare (Guiseppe) è una persona fantastica, sembta di conoscerlo da una vita, disponibile in tutto e molto spesso mi ha offerto dei fuori menù. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz'altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti di mare e terra con degli ingredienti a km 0. 21/04/2026: A truly memorable venue, both for its location and its cuisine. We visited here last Saturday during a trip to Bologna for a national competition. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great attention and care, escorted to an elegant and well-appointed private room. The food selection lived up to expectations. As chef, I chose local dishes and was completely satisfied: excellent culatello and beef tartare, prepared with precision and respect for the raw materials. The staff stands out for their knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism. The owner, in particular, was extremely elegant and attentive to his customers. This will undoubtedly become a go-to place every time we return to Bologna.

12/04/2026: Today my husband and I had lunch at this lovely restaurant. We'd heard about it for a long time, and thanks to a Sky voucher, we went to explore. We were offered two glasses of wine and a good platter of cured meats and cheeses (just as expected), then we chose two Bolognese cutlets, accompanied by potatoes and friggione. To finish, we chose fruit sorbets and an apple tart. Everything was excellent, in a refined and welcoming atmosphere with extremely kind staff, ready to meet any needs. The professionalism of everyone was so high that it was completely transformed, and I felt like I was having lunch at my grandmother's house rather than at a restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

09/05/2026: We waited over an hour for two inedible pizzas, pizza that looked like it was frozen from the supermarket with water from the mozzarella and cooked ham floating on top.

04/04/2026: We waited for the restaurant to open, we were greeted ok, had our order take, but nothing else happened. Other clients, dressed in working clothes came in, ordered and were served the food. One table, 2, 5, 10 after almost one hour of nothing I told to the manager that we are waiting for an hour despite being the first clients and still have no food, and they served almost one hundred in between. Finally the food came in, but is was expensive and tasteless. A cold platter that we ate in other trattorias in later evenings for half the price of la pioppa, carbonara with the sauce cut, filled home pasta that was bought from Conad. After more than 20 years of coming to Emilia Romagna here it was the worst experience ever, from the one our waiting time, to the tasteless food. Avoid this if possible

20/10/2025: Very good tortellini, very good mussel and clam sauté, and also the fried food, spaghetti with clams, clams not arrived, spaghetti not very good and too raw, the seafood pizza is unsightly (how can you put surimi and 3 shrimps?) a restaurant that serves fish should have a rich and tasty seafood pizza, I was tempted to send it back

01/04/2026: I was in the restaurant, ordered pizza without gluten. They put potatoes on top 🙄 just why. pizza was not good, very oily, I guess dough was not done specifically for pizza, just random dry one. My friend ordered bolognese, it was very salty and mostly without sause.

29/03/2026: Fantastic service from Salvatore! The atmosphere was great, and we received excellent guidance when choosing dishes, especially since we only eat vegetarian food. Truly outstanding service and top-level treatment from Salvatore.

01/04/2026: Bad experience. I won't be back. The pizza wasn't leavened, the edge was rubbery, and it was inedible. I had just finished eating the last piece of pizza when the waiter grabbed my plate and said, "I'll take it away." He's finished, so I said, "No, really." Another thing that bothered me was that one of the waiters filled a small glass with Coke on tap. After taking two sips from the same glass, with some Coke still inside, he refilled it by inserting the dispenser nozzle completely inside. I don't think that's the best in hygiene. After paying, I said I wouldn't be back, but I wasn't asked why.
