Il titolare (Guiseppe) è una persona fantastica, sembta di conoscerlo da una vita, disponibile in tutto e molto spesso mi ha offerto dei fuori menù. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz'altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti di mare e terra con degli ingredienti a km 0. 15/10/2025: The food was average, the place was rustic, the problem was the space was too small, the waiting times were quite normal, the real problem was that even though we had asked for some pizzas to be prepared before the others in our group because they had little time to eat, those pizzas arrived last.

08/10/2025: A historic venue. I've witnessed various transformations over the years (since the '90s), but it's always top-notch. The food is always excellent. The staff is friendly and approachable. Always ready to innovate and they never fail. I'd say, without a doubt, that in terms of food, it has no competitors.

04/05/2025: Welcome to Locanda La Pioppa, between Via Emilia and the West, a few steps from the motorway and the unrivaled craftsmanship of the Truck Driver Monument. An oasis for robust stomachs and tired souls, where time has stopped, probably to have a sambuca. Proudly preserved 90s interiors and zoological-hallucinogenic wallpaper with intellectual raccoons, mystical birds and assorted mammals. Friendly and welcoming staff. We ate well. Super generous dishes, perhaps a little too tasty: 1 plate of Fantasia di Mare scialatielli (and oil), peppered mussels (which are actually Taranto-style mussels), 1 portion of grilled vegetables and 1 bottle of water. Cost: 41.50. An honest amount for a hearty meal and a digestion that will end in a few weeks but the atmosphere is so irresistible that we will be back!

21/09/2025: We hadn't been there in a few years. One Tuesday in September 25th, we were nearby, so we stopped in. We went in, and Gianluca, the owner, recognized us immediately. We even shook hands. He sat us down, ordered drinks: 1 Quattro Stagioni red and 1 Capricciosa. They were delicious. Superbly seasoned, and to finish off, an excellent Le Tentazioni dessert. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend it. 👍🌹👍A.

05/09/2025: This restaurant runs in the family for already 46 years, you can tell. It may not look busy but that’s a pity that it isn’t. The quality of the food, wines and service is amazing. Drop yourself down here and enjoy some real original Italian cooking.

20/08/2025: During a business trip to San Benedetto, we were looking for a place to have lunch and were recommended La Bettola by locals. It was a great discovery: quality dishes, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. A place definitely worth a try, and one we recommend to visitors to the area.

11/10/2025: I went for a birthday dinner with children. The idea of ​​a dedicated area for them was a good one. The service was very good and courteous. The food quality was less than stellar: the pizzas were below average, the first courses were average, and the meat was a bit disappointing. For the price we paid, it wasn't in line with the quality.
