05/01/2026: I went to Osteria Charlie in Cattolica without high expectations, but I was truly satisfied. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, unpretentious, just like a real osteria.
The dishes are plentiful and carefully prepared; you can taste the quality ingredients. Even the desserts are excellent and generous, which isn't always the case. The prices are fair, considering the quality of the dishes and the fact that you leave feeling truly full.
04/01/2026: At Osteria Charlie in Cattolica, you immediately feel the authentic atmosphere of an osteria, not a restaurant, but a family-run one. The staff is friendly and helpful, and their passion for food is immediately apparent. The dishes are plentiful, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients, and even the desserts are excellent and generous.
The prices are fair, in line with the quantity and quality of the food. What some negative comments say is not true: I've had only one positive experience. A true osteria experience: simple, authentic, and satisfying. I'll definitely be back! 🍝🍷🍰

24/11/2025: Welcoming place, very friendly and helpful staff immediately put us at ease. The menu is extensive, with meat, fish, and pizza (which are also very beautiful to look at). We opted for fish, starting with a Sardinian fregola pasta with mussels and shrimp, followed by a mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and vegetables.
The price was slightly above average, but everything was good.
22/11/2025: Excellent pizza but also good cooking: I had some fish and found it very good even if cooked in a simple way.

13/09/2025: I visited this place twice this week, while spending a couple of days at the beach. I had an aperitivo by the sea, under an umbrella: the cocktails are delicious and very well made, as are the piadinas, generous and made with top-quality ingredients. I found the staff (both the waiters and the owner) to be friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: A warm welcome, kindness, and friendliness. A restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's well-kept, tidy, and clean. It offers reasonably priced menus with quality ingredients. If you're looking for sophisticated and innovative dishes, you might not find them, but the seafood tradition is well-presented. It's obviously not on the beach, but it's a good compromise.

06/04/2026: Poor management of the workload. In 50 minutes of queuing, I didn't move a single thing. I think it's because they take orders one at a time and serve them one at a time. I'd recommend using a "call-the-number" system.

Oggi è mercoledì c'è poca gente abbiamo prenotato ma la qualità del cibo era molto molto più buono 20 anni fa quando venivo con i miei nonni...
Oggi sono un po' deluso.
Abbiamo ordinato 2 pizze di cui una cruda e il pomodoro acido, una tagliatella ai frutti di mare ...ma i frutti erano di frigorifero e
la grigliata di carne sapeva di carbone....
che peccato vabbè può capitare la serata no.

20/10/2025: It's rare to find a place that's still affordable (meaning charming, respectful of the setting, not gimmicky, elegant, and original) with excellent cuisine and excellent ingredients, handled by expert hands. The staff is another plus: well-prepared, capable, and above all, friendly.
The bill can't be cheap...but it's all relative...because when compared to the quality of the food and service, the constant "pampering" from the staff, as well as the beauty of the place, it's more than fair.
For the record, I had sea bream in salt, my wife had seafood paccheri, side dishes, and dessert—all wonderful.
Well done guys, it was a wonderful experience...which is what eating out (and under the open sky, with a sea view) should always be!

I took 10 steps with the dog on the walkway, and the owner loudly scolded me in front of all the other diners, as if I'd committed a crime...

The only positive aspect is the food. It was quite good. It's a shame about the atmosphere; they put us all crammed into a room, with no air, we couldn't breathe. EVERY WINDOW HAD A LONG DARK CURTAIN IN FRONT... There was barely any light. The atmosphere was truly TERRIBLE. We waited 2 hours for our first courses. The waiters were unhelpful, annoyed, and disorganized. WHAT A SHAME!!

We booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day, and the wait was truly insane!
The place wasn't very crowded, and all the tables in the dining room seemed booked, given the centerpieces with names on them. Yet we waited over an hour for the first course, and another 40 minutes for the second course... and it wasn't just our table!
The entire dining room couldn't wait to leave.
Timing aside, I was cold the entire evening (we were seated on the veranda). We ate decently, and spent far too much for the dishes we ordered and the experience we had.
