08/03/2026: Noisy atmosphere. Too many covers, which detracts from the friendly service. The quality/price ratio is poor. We had fish for lunch.

06/03/2026: Never again!!! I ordered two half-meter pizzas for €20 each. The box was half empty, and their response was, "That's how we make pizzas." Lately, I've noticed an exaggerated increase in prices and a decline in portions and quality.

03/09/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner while walking along the seafront. A receptionist told us they had a fixed menu at a very specific price. When we left at the end of the dinner, the payment didn't match. Despite telling us what our colleague had told us, they still charged us more. The food was quite mediocre, and some dishes were cold. What a shame! I had other expectations.

02/10/2025: We're from the Como area but have been loyal to Riccione for years! You can't go wrong at Rudy al Grottino, and every time we're in Riccione for a weekend or a few days, we make a stop. Try it! The food is good and the price is right!

Il titolare (Guiseppe) è una persona fantastica, sembta di conoscerlo da una vita, disponibile in tutto e molto spesso mi ha offerto dei fuori menù. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz'altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti di mare e terra con degli ingredienti a km 0. 19/02/2026: Stopping with the truck is absolutely prohibited. 2 first courses (spaghetti allo scoglio), 2 second courses (very poor boneless roast), 2 side dishes, 2 bottles of water, and half a liter of wine, €80. Luckily, we asked the waitress if they had a driver's menu, and she said yes. We finally found a surprise. Never mind... Next time, we won't stop. Since we asked the waitress about the driver's menu, and she said yes, she could have said that they didn't offer this service on Sundays, so we could choose what to eat from the à la carte menu.

03/12/2025: I stopped by. I was very surprised to find that it's not just a hotel/motel for truckers like we all think, but a nice, well-maintained place where you can enjoy the bar downstairs and the restaurant during meal times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll try the restaurant version soon.

09/03/2026: The first courses were very good, and the fried vegetables were also quite good. The service was slow, slow, very slow, the dining room was very large and so noisy it gave me a headache, the chairs were uncomfortable and too low to the table. I don't think I'll ever return.

02/11/2025: I went for lunch with friends. The place is a sort of beachfront greenhouse, nicely decorated. The DJ was very pleasant until mid-afternoon, when it became more like a nightclub. Unfortunately, I have to rate the lunch, and the food was terrible. The entire table had almost raw starters, the fish was mostly frozen and tasteless, and the portions were small. The atmosphere was unpleasant, with a number of "promotion" girls and questionable characters. Finally, the prices were completely outrageous for the low quality (€80 per person for an appetizer, main course, and wine). I strongly advise against eating here. If you're looking to have fun with cocktails and company, then this is the place for you.

15/09/2025: I can't give this a less than 1-star review... A week-long vacation with my family and Twice we asked for lunch around 2:00 PM, but both times we were told the kitchen was closed and we couldn't eat. We weren't asking for anything special, but a toasted sandwich or a piadina would have been nice. A tip for the future, if ever there is one: a ham and cheese toastie is always a good choice for any occasion and everyone is happy.

15/03/2026: A delightful discovery. This Sunday morning we decided to spend it in Cattolica, and stopping for lunch was a spur-of-the-moment decision. Among the various restaurants in the area, our intuition led us to "O Capitano Mio Capitano," enticed by the crowds coming in and those already having lunch inside. We found a table without booking in advance, and they were very happy to seat us. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, with attentive and fast service. The restaurant is very charming, and being in the port area, it reflects the surrounding style. EXCELLENT cuisine! Not much to say. Excellent first and second courses. The abundance is paramount! The prices are very fair, and the quality is even better. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

14/02/2026: Very nice atmosphere. I've had pizza twice: once for dinner at the restaurant and once for takeout. I'll start by saying that I'm celiac, so I don't know what "normal" pizzas are like. As for me, the gluten-free pizzas, while good, had a few issues: the one I ate in the restaurant was a bit difficult to chew... While the takeout one was raw at the base and burnt (black) on the top crust... Quick and friendly service. Clean atmosphere. Another negative about the takeout ones... As soon as I got in the car, I was inundated with toppings, which leaked out quite a bit from one of the pizza boxes.
