17/05/2025: The atmosphere seemed really good in the pictures and we therefore made a reservation from home. We arrived at the booked time, but the waiter neither looked nor listened to us that we had booked. We were shown a table outside, facing the road, which was not ready. We sat for 5 minutes and could see several employees coming out and smoking at the entrance where we were sitting. No menu or word was said from the waiters. All in all, a super bad experience, where we ended up leaving the table without looking at the menu.

16/05/2025: Average food for Italy. Not worth stopping at, and they say you never have a bad meal in Italy. Well it wasn't bad, but also nothing special. I would suggest eating somewhere else.

02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

03/06/2025: Thanks to Michele for booking us a table at Taverna Do Re. Massimo was a friendly and helpful host and we ate very well. Excellent octopus, tasty pastas and exceptional parmigiana with a view of the Maschio Angioino.

20/05/2025: Spectacular spring lunch 😍 The food was excellent: the flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were incredibly fresh (the anchovies a la moda di Capri were divine). A quiet atmosphere to enjoy a totally relaxing experience to get away from the daily routine. Impeccable service Excellent value for money! The generous portions and the exceptional taste. Highly recommended!!!

14/05/2025: Absurd price for a decidedly average quality. The lady who served us was very friendly, unfortunately the chef, presumptuous as few, got annoyed when I pointed out to him that the Romanian pork and lamb meatballs were raw (literally they had the consistency and color of raw minced pork). Ps. The "Neapolitanized" ramen broth is also a no go if it turns out to be a simple vegetable broth, tasteless and insipid, especially if the main element of the ramen is the river shrimp simply placed to float in the broth and without a minimum overall seafood flavor of the ramen. (By the way, the river shrimp were not even opened and cleaned of the enormous intestine full of sand)

09/05/2025: waiter couldn't speak English but someone help. I needed something else but got this rather and it was good. The place is small and they didn't have sushi.

08/06/2025: "An experience that leaves its mark" I was at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and I still talk about it with friends and family. It is rare to find such authentic, refined and tasty cuisine. I started with an eggplant parmigiana that seemed to have come straight from grandma's kitchen: tasty, well-layered, with a fragrant tomato sauce and a perfect balance between saltiness and softness. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. Next I tried a very tender roast, served with sautéed vegetables: the meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, with a delicate base that enveloped the dish without covering its flavors. The presentation was also elegant and refined. To finish, a plate of spaghetti with cream of zucchini that was simply unforgettable: creamy, enveloping, with a scent of fresh basil and a textbook mantecatura. A vegetarian dish, yes, but rich and satisfying like few others. The service was courteous, attentive but never intrusive. Clean, well-kept and relaxing environment. I will definitely be back, and I recommend anyone who loves real Italian cuisine to do the same. A 10 out of 10!

18/05/2025: I ended up there by chance..and when you end up in a location by chance you are always amazed. So let's start with Giusy, the owner DELICIOUS, PROFESSIONAL, A REAL LANDLADY. VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. AMBIENCE well I saw her even if I don't know her well her identity that of Giusy. The food I ate a delicious risotto and a tasty fried fish. Excellent wine. The price, that I have to make a small controversy...because in my opinion it is a bit low. On a general evaluation in my opinion you deserve a few euros more. When I entered I said Giusy, my expectations are high.. You went beyond. Thank you. I will return.

01/06/2025: Siamo stati al 53 tre giorni fa , antipasti caldi e freddi molto buoni , spaghetti con le cozze e frutti di mare mai mangiato così buoni . Ma a condire gli ottimi piatti la cortesia del proprietario che segue ogni cosa con cura e la professionalità la gentilezza e ka simpatia del personale di sala . Lo consiglio felicemente.

09/05/2025: So the menu says about 12 a dish in fact we pick d two 10 euro dish and a salad and some how our bill came to 32 which in fact is due to a hidden cover charge / we feel this is terribly sneaky / yep it's a nice spot but watch for this no mention from the menu /.food is ok and authentic wine is cheap here /spoiled by the hidden costs

17/05/2025: Visité 10 años al día para celebrar mi 50 cumpleaños. Como antes, la comida era increíble, el personal era increíble, y el chef Peppé estaba atento como la última vez que visitamos, no es común tener un jefe de cocina que le guía a través de un conjunto de cursos de sus deseos y preferencias y realmente escucha. El ambiente era perfecto. Elegí el menú degustador "Confío en ti" y cumplió con mis expectativas. Además tienes un pudín de cumpleaños gratis 🤣

17/05/2025: Salimos muy decepcionados de nuestra cena en este restaurante. Si bien la comida estaba bien, el servicio dejó mucho que desear. Nuestros camareros cambiaban a menudo y eran muy poco atentos. Teníamos dos botellas de vino y nunca una vez vinieron a rellenar las copas o registrarse para ver cómo estaban las cosas. El chef se detuvo, lo cual fue agradable. En cualquier caso, cabría esperar un mejor servicio de un restaurante con estrella Michelin. Nuestro camarero principal pareció desmayado cuando tratamos de señalarlo. No esperamos mucho, pero no volveríamos aquí.
