08/03/2026: Wonderful food right in the heart of Sorrento. The service was excellent and very attentive. The pizza with sausage and friarielli was one of the best I’ve tried in Italy. We will definitely come back to try more from the menu. Also a very nice selection of wines.

08/03/2026: I went for lunch with friends, passing through. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, but the problem was the timing, with little sense of priority and precedence. I didn't complain, even though I had reason to. I don't plan on returning. The prices are quite high for the setting and quality.

11/12/2025: The hotel is located in a fairly remote area from the city center, yet the sea is nearby, visible from the panoramic views. Resembling a gigantic, low-rise farmhouse, renovated both inside and out, it boasts vast surrounding spaces that include a huge parking area, a beautiful swimming pool with solarium, a large perimeter patio with a large gazebo providing shade for tables and chairs, and just 23-26 guest rooms inside, plus a lobby with a small restaurant attached, kitchens, ground-floor bathrooms, and access to a basement level that leads to another restaurant adjacent to a disco/dance hall. The rooms are very intimate and spacious, all with windows, and airy in size, including the equally large and welcoming bathrooms (with sinks, bidets, and showers, but very few amenities: there are no towel hangers, for example, which are forced onto the vertical radiators), compared to other service areas in three-star hotels like this one! During this pre-Christmas period, the hotel is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, creating a festive atmosphere for the upcoming holidays. Mrs. Marcella, I believe the young owner or manager of the property, is very dynamic and "quick" in providing information and clarifications on internal regulations, as well as instructions and practical assistance to the staff: cooks, chefs, waiters, and the subordinate staff assigned to various tasks and cleaning, who are truly excellent. In short, given the fairly affordable prices of the packages offered for the weekend and for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, overall it was a pleasant mini-vacation, some for two or some for three days spread over half-board. This would encourage us to return for short periods, if only because you need a car to get to the center of Agropoli or the neighboring villages such as Santa Maria di Castellabbate, or Paestum, Capaccio, etc., in the heart of Cilento.

10/12/2025: Went in today and met the owner, if you want to feel welcomed I would go elsewhere.

13/01/2026: The building and the atmosphere of the restaurant were great, it set a really high expectation. Sadly the food wasn’t that great… the cold antipasti was tasteless boiled shrimp, octopus and some smoked salmon. The shrimp pasta was pretty decent, just like the fried seafood, nothing special. Than we also got the tuna steak with mint sauce. The mint sauce were just some leaves of mint on top of the tuna steak. Our mouth started to tingle from the tuna and after the meal we both got a very bad stomach ache… We were expecting high quality fish in a fish only restaurant, sadly it was not what we expected.

11/03/2026: An amazing mussel soup, both in quality and quantity. Start with a taste of truly delicious lardiata. The restaurant has been renovated and has ample parking.

01/03/2026: The only positive note here is the view. Otherwise, it was a negative experience. The food and staff were especially bad. They were polite, though, no complaints.

01/03/2026: I went to Hachè with medium-high expectations, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The dishes were overly seasoned: from broccoli rabe to gnocchi alla sorrentina, everything was drowned in oil. I understand the rich, old-fashioned cuisine, but here they crossed the line: more than tradition, it seemed careless. The flavor of the ingredients was completely lost. On a positive note (the only one): the coffee, really good. The service was another sore point: disorganized and distracted. We had to call the staff several times because they constantly forgot requests and orders. When you're at the table, you want to relax, not be a human reminder. In short: so much confusion, so little balance. Naples can do much, much better—the past hasn't been honored here, and the future can only improve. For now, I wouldn't go back.

16/03/2026: A place that may have once been decent, but now lives solely on its profits and parking (in fact, we parked elsewhere). We ordered a plate of fried shrimp and calamari, which arrived in two minutes with literally two shrimp and six (maybe?) calamari rings. My suspicion is that they scraped together leftovers from other customers: €15. Two entrees of spaghetti with clams (this is from the menu) brought a bland and undercooked plate of clams: €15 each. Even the bread was stale. The only redeeming feature was the wine. Shabby, I'll never go back.

15/03/2026: The fish was definitely fresh, but cooked without bringing out any flavor. There was no seasoning. Eating the spaghetti felt like drinking a glass of water. It's a shame; there's potential, but the result was truly poor. The price was too high, absolutely unsuitable for the quality of the dishes.

17/02/2026: We stayed for a few nights in the summer of 2024 and were very happy, especially with the gluten-free options (I've been celiac for 12 years). The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh homemade products (cakes, croissants, etc.). We also almost always stopped in for lunch and dinner (gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free fried foods, etc.). Superb!

05/12/2025: All in all, we had a good time, especially for those seeking tranquility, and Mrs. Caterina is truly kind and thoughtful towards her guests.
