08/06/2025: Quando vado in costiera la mia tappa fissa è sempre in questo ristorante.Non lo cambierei per nulla al mondo: pulizia top,cibo eccellente e prezzi accettabili.Poi i titolari persone eccezionali in particolare Italo che ti fa sentire come fossi a casa tua.Poi i dolci sono fatti personalmente dal loro pasticcere fatti come li farei io a casa senza conservanti tutto al naturale come un finale top di un ottimo limoncello.

03/06/2025: Vinimos aquí para el almuerzo como parte de nuestra recomendación de la costa de Amalfi de nuestro guía turístico y no decepcionó! Fui por un plato recomendado de marisco lingüino que tenía una salsa cremosa de limón y estaba delicioso! Entramos como un grupo grande, así que esperamos un poco para nuestra comida, pero valió la pena una visita. El menú era amplio y el personal era muy amable, recomendaría.

25/05/2025: Food came out cold and found a bone in lasagne!!! Service was not great. Atmosphere is nice and that's why we came as we saw it on social media as it's cute. The food was not cute. Tried to charge us for a £100 wine when we didn't order it we ordered at £50 one. Managed to come to an agreement of the bill. Would not recommend for the food or service as they were so rude. DONT FOLLOW SOCIAL MEDIA TRENDS!!!

28/04/2025: Buonissimo ristorante e pizzeria, affacciato su un panorama spettacolare. Il personale è molto attento e gentile, i piatti sono molto curati e il pesce è freschissimo. Dispone anche di un parcheggio molto comodo, non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

26/04/2025: Ieri sera dopo aver prenotato regolarmente per le 20 e dopo essere arrivati puntualissimi , nonostante ci fossero numerosi tavoli che affacciavano sul panorama ci hanno fatto sedere ad un tavolo vicino ad una porta di passaggio. Quindi già era venuta meno una motivazione della scelta del locale! Dopo con aria di indifferenza hanno portato il menù quasi irritati dal fatto che rinunciassimo all’antipasto scegliendo solo la pizza che tra l’altro è risultata essere di media fattura. L’esperienza in totale è stata alquanto negativa e NON ripetibile !! Peccato i luoghi meritano! Le persone dovrebbero essere istruite su come si trattano i turisti … l’accoglienza è arte e cultura….NON può essere lasciata all’ improvvisazione !!!

17/05/2025: Nice view, clear water but all rough rock, not natural but brought in and 6 euro to park + 15 euro/person to sit down!! Don't know about others in the area but this seems pretty expensive for an unnatural experience! There are restrooms and changing areas, which is nice and the parking across the street has a tunnel under the road so you don't have to cross the busy street. Volcano and City view is nice and water is clear!

09/06/2025: I didn't think I'd eat badly anywhere in Italy, but I did. Carbonara tasteless, but maybe that's for the best because my husband's bolognese was sour. A place chosen at random without checking the reviews first. Additionally, the waiter stood over us when I was choosing another dish and asked if it was ready.

09/06/2025: We asked if they had sea bream like the one in the picture, and they said yes. They brought us panga with no vegetables and it was very raw. It's a tourist trap, don't go there.

15/06/2025: Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. The waiter was seriously presumptuous and rude, daring to raise his voice and treat us with obvious condescension after making us wait over 50 minutes (half-empty restaurant) for pizzas that, moreover, arrived wrong. He responded arrogantly to our report, initially trying to convince us that the mistake was ours, and then taking the pizzas back to the kitchen, yelling at the pizza chef directly from outside the restaurant, where we were sitting. But the most serious incident occurred shortly after: one of the pizzas reserved after the mistake (humane, but unacceptable attitude), contained an allergen that had been reported very clearly twice, due to a SEVERE ALLERGY. Only chance avoided potentially dramatic consequences: another diner tasted the pizza first, recognizing the dangerous ingredient in time.

23/05/2025: Very positive home delivery experience. I only ordered a mussels with pepper and a calamari fry that arrived at home with 2 excellent prawns, still crunchy after about 20 minutes. All for a very honest price of €20. Tasty mussels, well cleaned and tasty for the season and cooked to perfection - they remained pleasantly large and not overcooked. Reasonably large portions. Professional delivery service (perfect packaging for fish dishes) and friendly - having an arm in a cast the delivery woman helped me set the table. I highly recommend for the Arenella district and I will definitely try again. 4.5 or 5 total rating

02/06/2025: La mia esperienza al ristorante O’Pizzirillo é stata indimenticabile, purtroppo nel senso negativo del termine. Le attese erano eccessivamente lunghe e snervanti, aggravate da un servizio disorganizzato e poco professionale. Uno degli episodi più surreali é stato il comportamento di un cameriere che, con evidente inesperienza, rischiava di far macchiare i malcapitati clienti ogni volta che si avvicinava ai tavoli, lasciando strascichi di sugo sul pavimento al suo passaggio. La scena diventava quasi una gara di riflessi per spostarsi rapidamente in modo da evitare di essere investiti dal contenuto dei piatti, una vera impresa. Il momento più esilarante? Una mozzarella ribelle lol, sfuggita dal piatto di un antipasto, che ha iniziato a rotolare per tutta la sala sotto lo sguardo incredulo e divertito dei commensali. Un vero spettacolo comico, se non fosse che ci si aspettava un’esperienza gastronomica più curata. La qualità del cibo? Probabilmente le nostre aspettative erano troppo alte, ma il giudizio finale é chiaro: non lo consiglierei, a meno che non siate amanti dei pasti accompagnati da musica assordante e fazzoletti sventolati a quel ritmo, in un ambiente che dovrebbe rispecchiare quello di un ristorante, non di alto livello, ma a parer mio, pur sempre un ristorante

19/06/2025: So many beautiful regional ingredients, yet so little care in preparation. Gordon Ramsay would go nuts.! The vegetables were drowning in oil, everything was severely overcooked, and the tuna was so dry and hard you could knock someone out with it. A real disappointment, especially considering the potential of the local products. Maybe it’s just me — I feel spoiled, or perhaps there’s been a change in the kitchen? The place is always busy on weekends, and it’s not exactly cheap either. People wouldn’t keep coming if it were consistently bad… I don’t get it..

06/11/2024: Ristorante di ottimo livello con pochi tavoli, per cui essenziale la prenotazione durante il weekend. L’esperienza è stata indubbiamente positiva: abbiamo scelto un menu degustazione di pesce e uno di terra (80€ l’uno) abbinando un paio di vini. Il personale è molto gentile, per alcuni tratti anche in maniera un po’ forzata. Allego le foto dei cibi assaggiati tra i quali ci sono anche dei regali dello chef. A mio parere una forzatura e la carta con le diverse bottiglie d’acqua da scegliere, anche questa è una forzatura un po’ fuori luogo, ma è mio parere molto personale. Sicuramente un posto dove ritornare.

29/10/2024: Sono anni ormai che giro i ristoranti consigliati dalla guida Michelin, in questo caso credo seriamente abbia preso una svista, location rustica ma tutto sommato carina, il servizio vuole essere quello di un ristorante stellato ma non essendolo risulta spesso molto pressante, passiamo ora alla vera nota dolente il menù, per iniziare ti viene portato il menù delle acque , in pratica una lista di acque a 15 euro che ti inducono a prendere per buoni i 4 euro da pagare per l’acqua panna, null’altro che una evidente furbata commerciale, di seguito ti viene portato il menù (rivestito da una vecchissima pelle consumata ) la scelta è scarna e come per il menù delle acque anche qui c’è un menù alla carta con prezzi dai 30€ ai 50€ per piatto che ti induce a scegliere il menù degustazione da 4 portate ad 80 euro , in questo caso un prezzo giusto per un menù degustazione anche se per la seconda volta si palesa agli occhi del cliente l’ennesima furbata commerciale. E di fatti la furbata c’è e come, il menù degustazione è composto si da 4 portate ma da fame, porzioni sotto gli standard quantitativi di qualsiasi ristorante stellato in cui siamo stati solo che qui la stella nemmeno c’è e di fatti nei sapori e negli abbinamenti si sente, la portata più RIDICOLA è stata il primo, nemmeno 30g di risotto. Infine al mattino dopo io e la mia compagna ci siamo svegliati entrambi con un terribile mal di pancia probabilmente in quelle portate da fame c’era qualcosa anche di marcio ASSOLUTAMENTE INTOLLERABILE!! Consiglio a chiunque di EVITARE questa trappola, Castellabate è un posto meraviglioso con dei ristoranti dove si possono assaggiare i veri sapori del cilento spendendo il giusto e se si vuole spendere qualcosina in più almeno si va da cantine belvedere dove si ha un prodotto di qualità ed una vista mozzafiato non in una grotta malgestita che sfrutta solo il buon nome della città per derubare i poveri malcapitati.

18/05/2025: terrible experience. disorganized and rude staff (except for the girl). very salty pasta but above all the most scandalous thing is that between the first and the second course there was a time difference of an hour and a half... something shocking and unforgivable given the name of the place. I strongly advise against it.

11/05/2025: I think I was very generous in my vote, an experience nothing short of a horror film, the awning on the terrace collapsed due to the rain resulting in a freezing "shower" for some guests, including me and my father. They included us in the bill (with a slight discount) given that the other diners unharmed by the water continued their lunch but we left soaked in water and without completing our lunch. Historic place but certainly with little commercial experience.

16/06/2025: A beach haven, only accessible by boat or by taking 300+ steps down. Family run, authentic experience. Food was delicious, but came out at all separate times so was difficult to enjoy the main courses together. Definitely the best flavored batter for the fried fish and calamari!
