We've been for dinner twice in a row, sampling the entire menu—fish, meat, and pizza—and it's all excellent. There were 12 of us, motorcycle friends, staying at the hotel of the same name (under the same ownership). The wine list is interesting, with fair markups. Anyone can create excellent dining, but the art of hospitality isn't for everyone. Angelo, the chef and owner, is a friendly, professional, and generous person. We'll definitely return.

The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. Some appetizers arrived after the main course, and the dishes were served unevenly, so one person was still eating when everyone else had finished.
On the positive side, the artistic presentation of the plates was a highlight, showcasing the chef's creativity.
The portions were small but tasty. However, they weren't always worth the price.
The timing of the dishes, in particular, needs improvement. It's unacceptable that a simple salad took longer than a freshly prepared risotto.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I wouldn't return to this restaurant. The service was slow, the atmosphere dated, the appetizer was poor, and the salmon pizza had a single piece of salmon in the center, while the shrimp and zucchini pizza had only 3 tiny frozen shrimp in the center. The dessert was good.

We've tried many in the Ascea area, and I have to say that the quality of the place isn't the best, or rather, it's not very compatible with our palates. We've come to the conclusion that Porta Rosa perhaps offers the best value. The atmosphere is certainly pleasant and well-kept, the menu is extensive and balanced, the pizzas we haven't tried and are only available at dinner, and the house wine is good and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and the prices are average. In short, while not exceptional, it's definitely worth recommending.

We stopped by for Easter Monday without a reservation, but they found us a table anyway. Delicious, refined, and expertly crafted fish dishes. A trio of appetizers, first courses, and second courses—we had everything we needed. We've made a note to return. Fairly good value for money.

They recommended it to me for pizza... there were several people ordering takeout. I wanted to try the Margherita pizza... I didn't understand the raw tomato sauce without oil, and the center of the dough was so thin that the pizza tore apart.
For me, pizza, like coffee, are the flagships of a business when it comes to pizzerias and bars...
Unfortunately, it seems like more and more people are being hired with inadequate staff!? Poorly paid!? Unmotivated!?... There are so many problems everywhere, but if you don't want to fail, you have to maintain a high standard of quality.

A place that didn't disappoint. Prices were a bit above average, and portions weren't particularly generous. Excellent food, and the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was casual.

This delightful restaurant and pizzeria is located near the entrance to the Velia excavations.
The atmosphere is very refined, clean, and spacious.
The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Serenella (the owner)
She welcomes guests with great warmth and friendliness, and is also a top-notch sommelier.
In fact, she always manages to amaze by recommending the perfect wine to complement each dish.
We enjoyed both the pizza, which has a very personalized style that evokes both the Neapolitan flavour and the pleasant crispness of Cilento.
And the cuisine.
Full of freshness for the fish and plenty of flavor for the meat.
In short,
The expertise of the mother in the kitchen and the father Angelo at the pizzeria ensures every dish is guaranteed.
Always happy to return.
Well done...in fact
Very good
