14/09/2025: This restaurant has the arrogance of the "old hands," who have been here for 40 years. Locals are warmly welcomed, tourists less so, as they are only passing through. It's a shame, as other very touristy regions also have the sense of humor that this restaurant lacks.

08/10/2025: We stayed for three nights at the Villa Lubrense for the last part of our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. Amidst the bustle of the Amalfi and the rest of the Gulf, this hotel is quiet and restful and would be great for both a weekend retreat or a longer-term stay. Its location is unbeatable, with amazing views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Naples. There is a small, rocky beach that is about a 15 minute hike down the rock face. By the beach are a few restaurants (the one we went to had the best pasta we had in Italy). It's also easy to get to the Bagni Regina Giovanna (a must-see and worth the 30 min walk from the Villa - or 20 mins if you take the bus to Capo) and to Sorrento (about 15 mins by bus which costs 2 euro and comes every 20 mins). If you feel comfortable renting a scooter, it would definitely be recommended, as the bus is not fully reliable - make sure you note where the bus stops are. Overall we had no issues though. I also want to specifically thank Fabiola for the wonderful service. After a difficult day (and a mistake on my part) we arrived late and Fabiola stayed late and picked us up herself - it saved our honeymoon and I'll always remember the gesture!

02/10/2025: The complex is beautiful, our room was not good, lots of background noise and old, breakfast was often simply empty, a ten-minute wait for a roll, sausage out... If you love breakfast, it's terrible. ADDITION, ADDITION: For the last three days, a different person has prepared breakfast, and lo and behold, there was sausage and eggs... The response to my hotel review, that we were late for breakfast, is not true; we were at breakfast between 8:10 and 9:30.

31/03/2026: The restaurant is cozy and charming. The owner greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. There were four in our party, and we all enjoyed our meals. The traditional dishes were fresh, delicious, and full of rich flavor. It was a wonderful find in the heart of Capri!

31/03/2026: They are friendly but the price is exaggerated for the quality of food they serve. We ordered a carbonara and they served us one with the sauce completely cut off. The meat is good. Also, I don't really recommend going there! It's very cold inside the place!

Appetizer: two mixed seafood platters divided into four; (photo) First course: vermicelli pasta with mussels and zucchini flowers; (photo) Dessert: classic tiramisu accompanied by coffee. The only flaw is that I think the price is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

11/03/2026: Fantastic ambiance, especially on a sunny February day, and a dream location. Fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with care and dedication. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the cuisine: the waiters do what they can, but more staff would be needed to limit wait times. An experience worth repeating, but given the circumstances, not during high season.

04/10/2025: Fantastic 😊 My Italian in-laws from Naples were absolutely blown away by the Spigiola and Pasta Vongole. My Pasta Genovese was also absolutely fantastic, and the ambiance right on the beach was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

16/09/2025: What a wonderful experience we had at this family run business, Bagno Dai Tu. The setting is breathtaking, with a restaurant and view that are truly stunning. The staff were warm and welcoming, and every dish was absolutely delicious.

15/10/2025: Delicious impromptu lunch. Generous host. The spelt, chickpea, and chestnut soup sustained us for a long coastal walk.

24/08/2025: We had the opportunity to take a cooking class here as a family and then we returned to the restaurant the next night for dinner. The food was amazing and so was the service and atmosphere! If you have celiac or need to eat gluten free, the chef is an expert at making dishes gluten free (including all the pastas). He will absolutely avoid any cross contamination. Also, the cooking class that we took was gluten free.

10/09/2025: We stayed this summer. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. The hotel is located right in the center, very close to the sea, the port, and amenities. Downstairs, there's also a gelateria, restaurant, and rotisserie/pizzeria. I'd say everything was perfect, I highly recommend it.

05/09/2025: Hotel in the center of Ischia Porto, very close to everything (everywhere within walking distance). The staff is incredibly friendly, and a special compliment goes to Lisa, whose smile made us (your Sicilian friend) and all our guests feel right at home every morning. Breakfast is spectacular, with homemade pastries, Ischian croissants, tarts, brioches, pastries, cakes, and more, all homemade, with a different selection every morning. There's also a savory selection. If we return to Ischia, we'll definitely stay here again.

09/11/2025: Spurred by the avalanche of positive reviews, I decided to try this burger joint, and honestly, I wonder who wrote them, because the experience was one to forget. The fries arrived greasy, soggy, and with that classic used-oil smell that lingers for hours. The burger, advertised as 200 grams, must have weighed less than 100 grams, and was burnt and completely flavorless. Dry bread, stringy meat, and no attention to detail on the plate. The service was borderline irritating: indifferent staff, long waits, and zero customer service. The sauces seemed to be taken from the discount store shelf, and the water was drawn from a home purifier. In short, a place that thrives on questionable reviews rather than actual quality. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise against being fooled like I was.

28/10/2025: What can I say? I haven't tasted such authentic flavors in years. Friendliness and professionalism. Plus, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. But the sandwich is superb.

04/03/2026: From the welcome, to the service, and the food, everything was truly exceptional!!! I highly and truly recommend coming to "Il Brigante." I was there for my nephew's first communion and for my birthday, which I celebrated with my family. I assure you that you will be more than satisfied!! Thanks to the entire staff at "Il Brigante."
