02/11/2025: First of all, the atmosphere and the place are stuck in the 1940s. The food isn't the best, but it's not bad... After being unsure about what to order, he recommends the €30 per person menu. You almost feel like you're getting a bargain until the first courses arrive, and the waiter Michele tells you that each dish is for three people, and the same goes for the second course. He decides to make a small boat with only six pieces of calamari and fried fish, which in our opinion is enough for two people, but he made it for five people... so we decide to have another dish of fried shrimp and calamari brought to us, explaining why... Moral of the story... At the end of the meal, the fried fish is also included in the bill... We ask him for an explanation, and he says he did it by blaming someone at the table, when he had only asked him to put it in the center for the second fried fish, but not for the other second courses... We go and tell him that, however, We're going to pay €30 per person, so by rule we should have each course as a single plate, and she says she did it to let us taste a bit of both main courses, when in the end it should be our decision and not hers... we tell her okay too, but do you think it was a main course that 5 people ate?! It was a 2-course main course... so be careful with the packages that could become PACKAGES

12/02/2025: Tout est bon. L’accueil et la nourriture. Parfait pour une addition raisonnable. Quasiment que des produits de la mer bien cuisinés. Et un baba en dessert.

05/01/2025: Sono stata totalmente rapita da questo posticino piccolo ma pieno di amore e passione. Complimenti senza dubbio alla cucina: tutto quello che ho preso era ottimo, dalle bruschette con i moscardini alla grigliata mista, peraltro mai vista una grigliata così ricca da nessuna parte fino ad ora. Un abbraccio forte a Mamma Rosa che con la sua grinta gira per i tavoli e ti fa sentire come se fossi a cena dalla nonna!! Complimenti, tanti e di cuore. Tornerò senza ombra di dubbio.

09/11/2025: Spurred by the avalanche of positive reviews, I decided to try this burger joint, and honestly, I wonder who wrote them, because the experience was one to forget. The fries arrived greasy, soggy, and with that classic used-oil smell that lingers for hours. The burger, advertised as 200 grams, must have weighed less than 100 grams, and was burnt and completely flavorless. Dry bread, stringy meat, and no attention to detail on the plate. The service was borderline irritating: indifferent staff, long waits, and zero customer service. The sauces seemed to be taken from the discount store shelf, and the water was drawn from a home purifier. In short, a place that thrives on questionable reviews rather than actual quality. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise against being fooled like I was.

28/10/2025: What can I say? I haven't tasted such authentic flavors in years. Friendliness and professionalism. Plus, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. But the sandwich is superb.

11/11/2025: High-quality restaurants, with excellently prepared seafood dishes. A prestigious wine cellar. Given the quality and sophistication of the dishes, the staff didn't seem up to par.

10/09/2025: We stayed this summer. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. The hotel is located right in the center, very close to the sea, the port, and amenities. Downstairs, there's also a gelateria, restaurant, and rotisserie/pizzeria. I'd say everything was perfect, I highly recommend it.

05/09/2025: Hotel in the center of Ischia Porto, very close to everything (everywhere within walking distance). The staff is incredibly friendly, and a special compliment goes to Lisa, whose smile made us (your Sicilian friend) and all our guests feel right at home every morning. Breakfast is spectacular, with homemade pastries, Ischian croissants, tarts, brioches, pastries, cakes, and more, all homemade, with a different selection every morning. There's also a savory selection. If we return to Ischia, we'll definitely stay here again.

05/05/2025: Nous n’écrivons que rarement des commentaires sur nos expériences de voyage mais dans ce cas-ci, après y être allés trois fois en 9 jours à Salerne, ça valait la peine. D’abord, il ne faut pas se laisser berner par le mot taverne, il s’agit en fait d’un très beau restaurant, et d’une véritable caverne d’Ali Baba, de vins, d’apéritifs et de digestif. L’accueil du couple de proprios est remarquablement chaleureux. Nous avons goûté, différents antipasti, des plats de pâtes, et également des plats principaux, tous préparés avec des ingrédients frais et délicieux. La nourriture est excellente et l’accord avec les vins était parfait. Le proprio est également commerçant en vin, si bien que nous lui avons acheté quelques bonnes bouteilles. Définitivement à essayer!

23/08/2025: I've been coming here every summer since 2014, and it has never disappointed us. We came again this year, as is now our custom. The menu is always precise and perfectly reflects the dishes. The wine list is extensive, featuring local wines. The Fiano di Pioppi is excellent, with notes of yellow fruit, apple, banana, and a distinct savory flavor. For our main courses, we had excellent raw appetizers (I recommend the anchovies and prawns) and exceptional fish meatballs with a unique crispy exterior. For our first course, we had a seafood Genovese, and the second course was the catch of the day with fish tempura. All the desserts were delicious, including tiramisu and fruit tartlets...all well-made. The staff were very helpful, the table service was excellent, with attention to detail, and the wine was well-served and always chilled. The bread was varied, all homemade. Highly recommended!

19/09/2025: We had a very decent meal at the restaurant for a reasonable price, then headed for the beach chairs which we paid 10€ for per person. The beach was clean, so was the shower and changing room and they had a lifeguard on duty. The sand is very fine and the view picturesque. The menu of the restaurant was in english, german and italian (-ofc). Staff was very friendly and there were cats :D

24/09/2025: A real insider tip you'll almost want to keep to yourself! The food is fantastic – the menu includes both fish and meat dishes, all freshly prepared. The service is warm, attentive, and thoroughly pleasant. What's especially nice is that it's a family business, and you can tell that right away. A place to feel good, enjoy, and come back. Absolutely recommended!

11/10/2025: It's the best restaurant I've eaten at in recent years. Chef Giuseppe offers a reinterpretation of typical Neapolitan dishes without straying from the original translation, but with a very successful innovative touch. The wine list is excellently selected, and Mariano's service is both warm and professional. If you're in Portici or nearby, I highly recommend going for an exclusive culinary experience.
