19/03/2026: The service is 'eat, pay, and go.' The pizza is very average for Naples. The ragu is good. The atmosphere is rather stiff. There are many more interesting places.

11/10/2025: It's the best restaurant I've eaten at in recent years. Chef Giuseppe offers a reinterpretation of typical Neapolitan dishes without straying from the original translation, but with a very successful innovative touch. The wine list is excellently selected, and Mariano's service is both warm and professional. If you're in Portici or nearby, I highly recommend going for an exclusive culinary experience.

24/02/2026: Last night we decided on a pizza on the spur of the moment... and since we never managed to get in on the weekends (it's always full) my husband and I decided to take the plunge and I have to say the pizzeria is worthy of its reputation... delicious pizzas, plentiful and above all a perfect dough and cooking... friendly staff, warm and welcoming place... the pastiera was surprising... fair value for money... we'll be back for the restaurant menu... I highly recommend it.

21/02/2026: We visited Ciarly Pizzeria and Restaurant, located in Piazzale Tecchio - Maradona Stadium, and overall, the experience was positive. We ate excellent Italian-style fried food, well-made and tasty, and we were also satisfied with the pizza: good, well-cooked, and easy to digest. The prices were fair and in line with the quality offered. The only negative aspect was the organization of the service on a particularly busy day like Saturday. The pizzas didn't arrive at the table in a coordinated manner: some of us had already finished, while others had to wait up to ten minutes for theirs. The delay was likely caused by the fact that the pizza chef was busy with both preparation and cooking, thus having to manage too many tasks at once. One suggestion would be to divide these roles between two people, so as to make the service more fluid and synchronized. Overall, however, it's a place where you eat well and where I would return, hoping to see even more efficient organization during busier times.

07/10/2025: As a beach resort, they offer an original offering with large, comfortable seating. Restaurant: There's little to say. The choice of ingredients is reflected in the quality of the dishes. An excellent choice both in Maronti and as a restaurant in general. Truly superb.

08/03/2026: A truly authentic place amidst so many touristy restaurants in this charming fishing village. The restaurant is family-run. The service is basic but welcoming and friendly, the ingredients exceptional, and the freshest fish cooked to perfection. If I could give it 10 stars, I would, and if I returned to Naples, I'd definitely go back for the fried calamari and mixed seafood, as well as the calamaretti alla Luciana.

20/02/2026: A good restaurant serving both meat and seafood dishes, with rustic yet friendly and efficient service. We arrived early and were served in a reasonable amount of time, but after a while the place filled up and they struggled a bit. The gnocchi with ragù were very good, with various pieces of meat, served in a small pan, and the ziti alla Genovese, grated with the classic grater, were also good, and even had a little meat, which isn't always available elsewhere. The homemade croquettes were decent. The desserts weren't homemade, but they chose the pastry very well: the lemon delicacy was better than some we've had on the Amalfi Coast, and the cheesecake was also good. The only downside was the croquettes, which were listed as €5.50 and were actually a full-sized. In any case, for what was quoted plus a bottle of mineral water, it was about €45, which I'd say was more than fair. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area; we also saw some lovely seafood dishes, which we'll try on a future occasion.

16/02/2026: On Carnival Sunday, we went to lunch at Orlando in Rotondi, following a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is spacious, the ambiance is simple, and the service was excellent. The first courses were delicious, both the ziti alla genovese and the gnocchi with sauce, enriched with meatballs, pork rinds, and tarachelle. The "padellaccia," a pork stew with potatoes and pickled peppers, a typical winter dish from the Avellino area, was flavorful and generous. The desserts were delicious, creamy and delicate. The bill was in line with the service.

27/09/2025: Beautiful, fresh, and clean atmosphere, old-fashioned professional service—compliments. We tried the pizzas, the best in Procida (at least for our tastes), after having been to at least 4 or 5 other pizzerias. The potato croquettes were special! This will be our go-to place for Saturday nights!

12/09/2025: I ordered takeout. The pizzas were delicious, arrived on time and hot. The staff was very helpful. The delivery guy was super friendly! I'll definitely order again. Highly recommended.

22/09/2025: We had dinner at La Rondinella this evening, guided partly by reviews and partly by intuition, and I have to say it was a wonderful dinner, with those simple flavors that linger. We wanted a good first course, and the pasta and potatoes with seafood was sublime, not to mention the Ischian-style rabbit...an island specialty that deserves to be tried here! What can I say...we'll be back in Ischia and will definitely stop by again to enjoy these delicious specialties!! Highly recommended! 😉

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

04/04/2026: This place was recommended by the tour guide. What a disappointment...I ordered Pizza Exotica, which has pineapple. It came in like soup in the middle. The only edible part was the crust. Can't explain how bad it was.The prices were pretty crazy and they charge extra 6 euros, if you want to be seated inside. The garlic bread was hard as a rock and it was 6 euros for 2 tiny slices. No waiter comes around to check if you need anything and you have to search for them to pay your bill. Poor excuse for a restaurant. Who would have thought the worst pizza was made in Italy...

03/04/2026: Visited early April when the weather was not great so a mistake to come to this huge restaurant then. It was completely empty so no atmosphere at all. The food was very good but I felt that even though my grilled squid was really tasty, it was too expensive for what I had. My husband's pasta was good. I'm sure I would have enjoyed this place much more on a hot day in the summer.

16/11/2025: We came across this place on accident in Positano and we're so happy we did. The pizza and octopus were amazing, also tired some recommended dishes. The vibe is perfect, and the service is 5 star.
