04/08/2025: Excellent address! Great food, we really enjoyed it 😋

26/07/2025: I walked into this place around 3:00 PM and ordered grilled mussels for €15, which were nothing grilled. They brought me a soup with croutons, and obviously good quality mussels, otherwise I would have sent them back immediately. The sauce was salty, though, so I ate them because it was late and I was hungry. Afterward, I hoped for spaghetti with clams for €25, but it was saltier than the mussels, and I had to leave it after two forkfuls because it was inedible! I explained that I couldn't continue because of this. The owner's response was that they hadn't added salt, and he was so arrogant and rude. He yelled and swore, telling me that I was the only one who didn't like the others. Yes, his wife came out and started saying that the journalist was better than me because he studied and that he liked it and I didn't. Unbelievable, absurd things! I continued to say with astonished calm that I was only expressing my taste, my very legitimate opinion on what I had and hadn't eaten! I left my plate half-finished and not only did they verbally attack me, but the wife even supported her husband, who was getting extremely upset!! He was screaming! And they even made me pay for what I didn't eat! I drank a whole bottle of water because of all that brine! In short, I've never experienced anything so absurd in a restaurant!! 42 euros wasted!!! NEVER AGAIN! AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW WITH A LIE!!!! WHAT PEOPLE!!!

15/08/2025: Excellent! The homemade pasta was delicious, as were the starters, the typical Procida parmigiana and the swordfish and eggplant croquettes. Very pleasant terrace.

08/08/2025: We chose it at random, because it was named after a friend: a random choice was never more appropriate! We'll be thinking about the pasta with anchovies and pecorino cheese for a long time, so much so that we ordered it two nights in a row. Thanks Mariano!

25/08/2025: Worth all the hype and a real highlight of our trip. I would recommend this to anyone. Despite the fact that almost everyone in the restaurant was a tourist, it still felt like we had all stumbled upon a kind of secret adventure. No part of the experience felt slick or corporate or “touristy”. The staff are friendly and expressive, running up and down the stone steps in bare feet with plates groaning with beautiful food. The prices and specials are still scrawled on a chalk board. There are several cats roaming around who our waiter knew by name. There were as many Italian voices as there were international ones, and people were recognising each other and catching up. Ride the cute boat, eat the delicious food, relax on the private beach, soak up the atmosphere. You won’t regret it! Top tips: book online before you go, and bring a parasol for the beach if you’re sensitive to the sun. There’s no natural shade and it faces the south.

24/08/2025: We had a fabulous time at Da Adolfo! All the negative reviews here are a disgrace and must come from people who haven’t done their research on the schedule of the boat, the prices for the beach, or how to book a table. We booked our table 10 days before traveling to Positano with no issues at all. We requested a table for lunch, two sunchairs and a parasol for the day which were set up as we requested. When we got to the beach, we went up to the bar and ordered some coffee. They’ve just opened up so we had to wait a couple of minutes for the machine to heat up, but were served excellent cappuccini! Our lunch was superb! Excellent! It literally made me shed a tear of joy. We had Tuna Carpaccio, Parmigiana and Aglio e Olio. The pasta was al dente and had a really nice balance between the garlic, herbs and olive oil. The parmigiana was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life - I actually felt sad I didn’t get a portion for myself but had to munch up the leftovers of my girl. When we asked for a dessert recommendation, they suggested we order the lemon tiramisu and boy o boy… The following account actually happened)… After we finished the main course, the sun hid itself behind the clouds and some raindrops fell through the fabric above us. But when the waiter brought out the lemon tiramisu and the very first bite touched my gums, the sun came out again. It was the most delightful dessert we’ve had on our trip to Italy this year, and it felt like god himself was lighting up the sky from above and within. The flavors of this tiramisu captured to essence of Campania. Bite by bite we were lured more and more into la dolce vita and tipped our hat to the chef and his staff. WOW! What a food experience. If you are going to Positano, book a table in advance. There is also a way of booking a table without calling… (research goes a long way 😉) Don’t go to the pier and ask for a free ride as they won’t take you there without a reservation. Also: If you want to show some respect to the workers at the bar, learn the most basic words and phrases in Italian. This goes a very very long way and will make your overall experience so much more pleasurable. Don’t be a stereotypical American or German tourist by expecting them to speak your language. Even if they do… you’re a guest in their country and at their restaurant. Have some dignity, respect and you will be treated with such! 11/10 recommendation! Would and will come again.

20/08/2025: Easily outshone every pizzeria in Naples I tried during my vacation. Incredibly good dough, the tastiest tomatoes I've ever eaten anywhere, very attentive service, who unfortunately barely speaks English—and the pizza was ready less than five minutes after ordering! Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: We were greeted by the very kind staff. The food was excellent, the terrace well-kept, clean, and pleasant. Even my celiac daughter was able to dine, choosing any dish from the menu, which was then prepared gluten-free for her.

29/07/2025: Wonderful experience! I'm celiac and was looking for a place to eat that could offer something for me. I called the restaurant, and they promptly reassured me that the entire menu was available gluten-free. When I arrived, I was greeted by the very kind and helpful waiters, who quickly served me a delicious plate of ziti with tuna Genovese, fried fish, and sandwiches. There's also the option of a gluten-free dessert, but the abundance of dishes made it difficult. I'll definitely try that next time. Highly recommended!

02/09/2025: The lemon pasta deserved the 5/5 rating. One of the most delicious lemon pasta that I had in Amalfi coast. It was so simple, with no protein or vegies, just pasta, lemon sauce and cheese (I think) and it was so so delicious! Service was also friendly.

23/08/2025: Food was great, we ordered bolognese gnocchi, scialatielli con gambeta e zucchini, pignatiello di spaghettini alla scogliera, insalatona atrani and the fish of the day. All were very good, and service was quick. The place is very nice, just beside the beach, and has outside sitting with large umbrellas that provide shade.

01/06/2025: Found this gem my last night in Naples. Great atmosphere with excellent food & wine. Mario was very hospitable. I highly recommend visiting!

18/07/2025: Location strapitosa, terrazza del Palazzo Marchesale sul mare. Bellissimo per l'aperitivo, ancora più bello col buio. Cucina di mare e di terra del territorio, porzioni abbondanti.

07/09/2025: It was quite a high price for what we got. For example, with the Cerata spaghetti with anchovies, I only found one piece of anchovy. The waitress said the rest was in the sauce, but I didn't taste much of it. When I paid, the cashier pointed out that service wasn't included. So I had to pay extra for that.

11/08/2025: Everything was excellent, with some nice alternatives to the pizza, which was truly delicious. We also had sandwiches, and I can honestly say they were good. Obviously, since it's not a restaurant, the place is a bit cramped, but if it's not crowded, it's fine. The people behind the counter are lively, but if it gets crowded, you obviously have to wait a bit, but that's normal.

29/08/2025: My girlfriend and I went for a tour of the coast, and on the way back we decided to stop at Ninuccio's. We asked if it was possible to dine without a reservation, and they very kindly said yes, allowing us to sit either in the dining room or on the terrace (we preferred the terrace). Of course, we started with Ninuccio's signature dish, the giant croquettes. We had four classic croquettes, one Genovese, and one with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. Everything was truly excellent: perfectly fried, crispy, and the inside melted in your mouth, using quality ingredients.

25/08/2025: I've been going to Ninuccio's for over 30 years and have always appreciated the cleanliness, the courtesy, and the pizza, so good it seemed to come from another planet. Tonight, however, I found the service dirty and the pizza absolutely light years away from the usual ones they've always served—thin and crispy, almost like a biscuit. The price is average: three pizzas, a Coke, and a beer for €26. The staff is friendly, the girls are kind and attentive, and most importantly, they don't rush you to leave when you're finished eating. I'll definitely be back for another chance. Update: I've returned after five years, and things haven't changed at all. The pizza is inedible. It looks like a biscuit, it's hard, and the dough is rolled out with obsessive precision (it looks like it was rolled out with a roller) and the tomato sauce (so precise it looks like it was made with a machine). It tastes like a pre-packaged pizza. The price has obviously increased, from €26 to €32 for the same items.

23/07/2025: A corner of authentic Ischia: La Rondinella 🌿🍝🧡 If you're looking for authentic Ischian cuisine, homemade with love, La Rondinella is a must-see. Located in a beautiful garden, the atmosphere is simple and familiar, one where you immediately feel welcomed. The chef (a true master in the kitchen) prepares dishes that exude tradition and passion. The staff is attentive and professional. The portions? Generous is an understatement. Here, you eat seriously. The dish that won me over: pasta, potatoes, and mussels – creamy, flavorful, perfectly balanced. Pure comfort food, with a touch of the sea that stays in your heart. A sincere place, where every bite reveals the soul of the island. I'll be back. In fact, I already miss it.

09/07/2025: A great find! We were looking for a restaurant on our way back from Sorgeto Bay. The atmosphere was pleasant, surrounded by well-kept plants and flowers. We made the most of the evening with live music. The service from the girls was much appreciated, as they were friendly. The bathroom was also excellent, new and clean.
