05/10/2025: Amazing place on the beach! We arrived by boat but you can reach there with the bus as well. They serve everything in the restaurant or on the beach! Staff was amazing ! We really enjoyed this place !

25/09/2025: On a day when we didn't feel like pasta or pizza, we decided to order the cutlet, and to our surprise, it was very good. It's a breaded meat, but the breading was very good and unusual. The fries were very good. The staff were super friendly and smiling. Then we asked for help finding lounge chairs on the beach, and they promptly called the manager, who was also super friendly. I suggest having lunch there and then going to their beach; it was the best beach I've had in this area of ​​Naples. Oh! Great sea view from the restaurant.

25/09/2025: The view is beautiful and the food was good. But the service was not good. We ordered a multiple course meal and they served all of the food at once. Felt very rushed and wasn’t properly coursed like it should have been. Really ruined the experience. Then dessert and coffee were not even offered. Staff felt more interested in going home than serving customers. Would not go back for another visit or recommend to friends.

A welcoming location, a quiet atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and expertly prepared dishes using top-quality ingredients. I recommend the grilled razor clams, white clam soup, tempura cod, tempura shrimp with mayonnaise, octopus salad, grilled cuttlefish with crunchy vegetables, squid, and potatoes with Corbarino tomatoes. Very tasty dishes. And finally, a delicious dessert: panna cotta with berries and crema catalana. Excellent value.

10/10/2025: Pizza is good, Service ok, the beer they serve us was bad, they said is the taste of peroni im a beer judge bjcp E4149, so I know what im taking about, mine was almost empty, my wife almost full they said free i said no worries, they insist free. When the tap came they charge us both beers. Dont know why they said free. Offer us free lemonchelo.

21/10/2025: We loved our stay at Hotel Open Gate! We did 5 nights in October, the weather was beautiful as was the view! The staff was also incredibly helpful and kind. We had breakfast there every morning, and dinner twice, the food was great. Being able after a long day to have a dinner right at the hotel was a relief. But also very easy to access other major parts of the coast via the SITA bus (if you have big luggage they do have storage on the outside of the bus, opposite to the entrance), as well as walk to other places in Praiano. Hoping we can come back someday!

09/10/2025: I just finished dinner at this little restaurant, which I think should be included on the UNESCO list because it captures the true essence of the Amalfi Coast. Excellent service, all supervised and supervised by the owners. Excellent cuisine, highly recommended. The seafood scialatielli are truly unique, handmade by the local, native chef. 03/10/2025: We went there on a weekday for lunch, there was no one there so the service was quick, the staff were friendly, we had 1 starter and 2 fish main courses, we liked them.

13/09/2025: We arrived really early for dinner (18:30), but they still welcomed us warmly and cordially. We had pizza and Neapolitan fried fish. Everything was truly excellent!!! We'd been here a few years ago and remembered it well!! We hope to return soon to try the fish dishes too!!

11/09/2025: I don’t write a lot of reviews. I have to tell all what a fantastico experience we had at Vela Bianca this evening. Free m the moment we were seated until the time we left, we were treated so well. The manager, Michael, was kind and welcoming. Our primary server, Mucharo, took great care of us nd we adored his sense of humor. The food was amazing… best meal in Sorrento so far. We’re hoping to come back again before we leave. Highly recommend!
