08/11/2025: Today I was surprised because I ate fish, and I never imagined I'd be able to enjoy fresh fish in the mountains! Clams, shrimp, calamari—all excellent and well-cooked. Sajonara is a must-try in this area. The idea of having to go to the seaside to get fresh fish was proven wrong today. We often look far away, thinking the best is always somewhere else, but instead, it's right there before our eyes. The fried cod was truly top-notch.

07/12/2025: The small, crowded space offers little choice on the menu. We definitely ate well, given that the pasta is made on-site and the fish is all fresh. In fact, since it was December, all the mussel dishes were out. The woman serving us (I don't know if she was the owner) was very helpful and accommodating. They ran out of Cetarese pesto, so she still offered us the dish I'd ordered from what was left. The prices were reasonable. Two first courses and an appetizer with crostini came to €46 for two. Not excessive or cheap, in my opinion. The first courses (the only ones we could say we could choose from) were scialatielli with yellow datterino tomatoes and anchovy sauce, and ravioli alla cetarese filled with ricotta, yellow datterino tomatoes and anchovy sauce. In short, two fairly similar and simple dishes. I gave it three stars because I'd like to try the summer scialatielli with mussels, pistachios, and lemon first, or the ones with clams they're currently serving, or the ones with the fish of the day. Perhaps if these last two dishes had been a bit more of a wake-up call, we'd have been more satisfied. The welcome crostini with buffalo ricotta and anchovy sauce was delicious, but I didn't particularly like the anchovies ripensi with provola and broccoli. I recommend booking because the place is small. I expect it will be crowded in the summer.
07/12/2025: We entered this restaurant attracted by the variety of the menu and the family atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food was truly terrible. I ordered a simple pasta dish with anchovy sauce, which should be a staple every restaurant in Cetara should know how to make, but the pasta arrived incredibly salty, inedible, and full of garlic bits, so I had to send it back. The waiter kindly had me remake it, but then I ate basically pasta, oil, and starch without any knowledge of the sauce. Not to mention the calamari stuffed with a seasonal vegetable sauce—which, being December, was mushrooms?! An inedible combination, a revolting mash-sauce. I only ate the calamari, which was incredibly tough, out of hunger and the thought of having paid for it. I'm sorry, but few times in my life have I been so embarrassed and eaten so badly.

27/10/2025: Every time we return to Ristorante L’Approdo in Piano di Sorrento, it's a testament to our reputation: simply one of the best in the Marina di Cassano area! The location is enchanting, right on the sea, with breathtaking sunsets. The welcome is always impeccable: owners Tonino and Anna, along with their staff, welcome guests with kindness and attentiveness. The cuisine is excellent: the fish is always incredibly fresh, and every course is meticulously prepared; every dish is superb. The wood-fired pizza, light, fragrant, and delicious, is also worth a mention, perfect for those seeking a quality alternative to other dishes. The wines are excellent, and the desserts are unmissable. Highly recommended for those who love the sea, good food, and memorable moments.
02/09/2025: Simple but clean and comfortable B&B. The location is a picturesque fishing village in the Sorrento area. The restaurant is excellent.

22/11/2025: Rich dishes featuring fresh, high-quality seafood. The menu varies depending on the catch. The place is very basic, but if you're looking for flavor and quality in seafood dishes, you've come to the right place. The service is okay, but the price isn't cheap in my opinion. Considering the location, the service, and the table settings, the prices are more like a 4-star restaurant.
16/11/2025: We've been frequenting 'O Povero Pesce for several years now, and each visit is a confirmation. The restaurant, open a couple of years ago and flanked by the family fishmonger, offers dishes prepared with the catch of the day: a guarantee of freshness that is evident in every course.
Our favorite feature is the chalkboard menu, handwritten daily and brought to the table: simple, authentic, and true to the spirit of the restaurant.
We started with a rich house antipasto, served on a single plate but composed of many small bites: marinated anchovies, tuna meatball, salmon, and smoked tuna, a seafood salad with green beans, and cuttlefish on mashed potatoes with marinated shrimp (raw). A well-balanced, fresh, and truly satisfying mix.
For our first courses, we chose the fisherman's paccheri and the "'O Povero Pesce" tubetti, a version of pasta topped with seafood sauce and clams. Simple yet flavorful dishes, generously seasoned and with top-quality ingredients.
For main courses, we tried the roasted cuttlefish on a bed of zucchini scapece, tender and flavorful, and the sea snails in tomato sauce, basil, and a touch of chili pepper: a traditional, intense, and truly well-executed dish.
Next came the desserts: a berry cheesecake and a warm chocolate tart served with milk cream. Both were delicious and carefully crafted.
To conclude, the owner—always kind and helpful—offered us a meloncello digestif and coffee. A gesture that confirms the family atmosphere and the care they give to their customers.
The prices are fair, truly modest considering the quality and freshness of the fish. It's no coincidence that we've become regulars: professionalism, kindness, and authenticity are never lacking here.
Congratulations to all the staff: keep up the good work!

18/10/2025: For me, this is the best pizza in the Sele Valley. The rest of the food is also excellent, the waiters are friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Recommended for both small and large parties, the location is truly lovely, especially since it was renovated. There's the "old" room, which is smaller, rustic, and welcoming, and the new room, which is larger, brighter, simpler, and elegant. In short, there's something for everyone.

Wait staff were great. Yummy ice cream with nuts to finish. Tasted each red they had before choosing our glass. highly recommend!!

The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of the old style, and the walls are adorned with artistic drawings and small curiosities, creating a unique, warm atmosphere. The food is delicious.

11/10/2025: There were four of us this evening, two gluten-free and two regular ones. The food was delicious for both of us, with sensational fried foods. They allowed us to choose the pizza menu even though it was Saturday. Excellent value for money, fast service, and very friendly staff. Exceptional pizza. The only negative aspect, 100%, was the noise from the diners, but that's understandable on a Saturday night and with a line outside the restaurant to be served, perhaps because we didn't book. We didn't have to wait even a minute, having booked yesterday.
11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant tonight. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly, and the gluten-free food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fried food is sensational, and the gluten-free pizza is absolutely delicious and richly topped. Excellent value for money. (Appetizers include supplì, crocche, and pasta frittata, ortolani pizza, beer, mineral water, and Fernet for €25.)

11/11/2025: After 10 years of absence, the last time I went to the old establishment, and I brought some of my colleagues from Brescia to let them eat the quality fish and in abundance not drawn on the plate and I made a great impression; they couldn't believe their eyes at how much food they had brought us of all qualities. Here in the new establishment I always found the same spectacular welcome, always fresh, genuine food, Diego and a great chef, Papa Sabatino, always a great gentleman, excellent service. I booked on Saturday afternoon, it was packed, but for friends, as always, they found a table. Thanks Diego, thanks Sabatino, when I return I swear I'll book the week before, hahahahah, a hug, you are the best.

09/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant today, and it's a shame there aren't any more stars to give, because it deserves all of them.
Fresh, well-cooked fish, friendly service, generous portions, and excellent value.
Having never been there before and not knowing the portion sizes, we ordered an extra appetizer, which the owner had removed from our order because he already knew it was too much and we wouldn't eat it—a great sign of seriousness and professionalism.
We'll definitely be back often...

Zeppoline and mussels with pepper as an appetizer were really good and high-quality
But they outdid themselves with the first courses.
I tried it for the first time in my life:
paccheri with porcini mushrooms and clams, truly delicious, excellent, obligatory mopping up the sauce (€12 😮)
And I also tried my girlfriend's seafood scialatielli (€15 👍), equally delicious, with top-quality clams.
The portions were also decent, almost generous.
I continued with fried shrimp, calamari, and cuttlefish (€13 😮)
Quality ingredients, well-fried, golden brown.
All in all, exceptional food, very low prices compared to the quality (perhaps due to the climate and very informal setting?)
Same staff, same food in a "fashion" restaurant. "fashion" you pay double for everything
