09/12/2025: They brought us a BOXED focaccia (reading the other reviews, everyone says the same thing: the focaccia and pizza seem frozen. It's sobering that the owner responds angrily in the reviews as if the pizza were objectively good...). The focaccia, however, was to accompany an appetizer that was supposed to be a mixed platter (cured meats and cheeses), a very banal selection of cured meats but unjustifiably expensive. It consisted of just a few slices of cured meats, the only one standing out being the prosciutto (the coppa was tough, overly dried and aged, while elsewhere it melted in the mouth). For the rest, we had small green olives from the bar, some fiordi latte that resembled those from the supermarket, and it's also incorrect to write cheeses in the plural if they served three pieces of one type, nothing special. Therefore, I don't recommend the mixed platter or anything made with the mixer used for that focaccia. We were actually very hungry and about to have a rich and complete meal, including a bottle of wine, but the rudeness of the owner, who responded in an annoyed tone to a legitimate question when I was ordering about the type of potatoes they offered as a side, made me decide to quickly order the bare minimum to leave (meat and side dishes). I had simply asked if the potatoes were "slices," and she arrogantly replied, "Madam! Pizza is sliced! Potatoes are the ones with the skin on!" Gesticulating with these hands, I didn't understand what he was trying to mimic... 🙄Calm down... He also immediately pointed out that they don't make changes in the kitchen, but we hadn't even asked for them. The menu simply wasn't clear whether sausage meant cured meat or butcher's sausage. So we deliberately finished our meal elsewhere, enjoying an excellent dessert and coffee. We didn't order a bottle of wine or any entrees. Most importantly, we excluded this place from an event we're celebrating soon in Vasto with many guests, and the managers of other places who know us treat us very well because we're excellent customers. The owner is so caught up in her manners, which need to be reconsidered, that she doesn't understand the potential of this new customer... She doesn't even take the time to determine if they're a "good" customer who spends money... Don't worry, we'll eat the potatoes with the skin (and not in wedges) and be done. The only good thing about this place is its location on the balcony overlooking the sea, which persuaded us to stop, and because the other places were closed for lunch. I find the owner's response to other reviews about the pizza/focaccia dough very arrogant (we found the latter to be cardboard-like and bland, as mentioned). If she continues with this policy, sooner or later she'll find herself having to make a surprise inspection to verify the product being offered, given that it's highly unusual for all the reviews to be negative... so stop being touchy and above all learn some manners, because yesterday I should have left her with the notepad in my hand after that rude response and walked away...

23/11/2025: Beautiful place in Vasto...the view is unique and the atmosphere is super comfortable. I liked the service and the quality of the food. And the best part is the mascot, haha...Sirio...a sweet and loving little dog. Something I find very charming. If you're visiting or want to explore Vasto, Abruzzo, you have to stop by this restaurant!!!

27/07/2025: Cucina familiare, abbondante, il prezzo fisso ripaga delle tante portate.....cibo fresco e location stupenda.......la proprietaria gentile e cordiale .....vale la pena mangiare su questo splendido trabocco

27/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena, menù fisso € 50,00 a persona per mangiare miseri antipasti, una cozza a testa e lo stesso vale per lo scampo, tortino ripieno di baccalà che non sapeva di niente, piselli, lasciamo stare.... Primo con sugo che era veramente imbarazzante... frittura misera, dolce non parliamone. Almeno il personale era gentile.

09/11/2025: A place that is nothing short of magnificent and elegant, even though I think it is dated in its existence, I had the pleasure of celebrating Halloween evening in this location with an organised package and with a small group of friends, taking advantage of the fact that there are also accommodations, we also stayed to sleep.

06/09/2025: We chose this location for our wedding and what can I say... We were pampered from start to finish. Piero is a wonderful person; he made us feel at home from start to finish and guided us through this year of preparations. Miriam and Elena are two amazing people, super organized and available to us. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food excellent, and our guests had a blast... we couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding. A serene, cheerful, and happy atmosphere with cool hair and a wonderful light in their eyes. And then the desserts... unsurpassed. For a unique experience, I highly recommend them.

01/12/2025: On Sunday, the two of us ordered a trio of fish appetizers (TASTELESS), terrible d'Avalos pasta, fish tasted like nothing, inedible tomato sauce had a metallic taste, then ravioli with yellow tomato soup, BOOOO. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE, I don't think we'll return.

13/10/2025: Food. Fresh. We had a really good time. Quality...good. If you pay a little more, it's worth it. Overall, my rating is 5.

19/09/2025: A typical beach resort with an attached restaurant. The sandy beach is excellent, and the umbrellas are very pleasant, a very unique Foggia look. Perhaps it wasn't the right day, but the spaghetti alle Vongole was particularly tasteless. The octopus and potato appetizer was good, but rather poor in quality. As for the price, as a guest, I can't be sure beyond the prices listed on the price list: I'd say it's about average.

30/09/2025: Very disappointing experience. We arrived at 8 PM with two small kids, ordered right away, but only got our appetizer at 9:15. Our baby’s food came earlier, but the rest was delayed and cold when it finally arrived at 9:30, only after we complained. I ordered an Aperol Spritz but was given a different aperitif without being told. The tuna tartare was average, and the squid was sandy. To make it worse, other tables that arrived later were served much faster. Not a good experience, especially with children.

06/12/2025: Each restaurant chooses how to present itself in terms of service, kindness, location, and attention to detail. La Mimosa has chosen to give itself a 3-star rating, overall. You'll eat mediocre fish, some even a little better. The service is simply there, flawless but also lacking in courtesy. The food is okay: without special flavors or recipes; the fish is neither fresh nor pureed. So in the end, you won't suffer or be thrilled. And you won't remember or return.

10/11/2025: The quality of the fish is truly excellent, especially for a mountain restaurant. The portions are very generous, and the pasta dishes are almost equivalent to two or three portions, so I recommend choosing just one type. The only flaw is the service, which is a bit slow—perhaps because the restaurant was busy that day. All in all, the quality and flavor are truly good, and the price is more than reasonable!

01/11/2025: ......at the end of the evening, with the arrival of the birthday cake, the owner's brother, who served us, in an abrupt manner, approached us and threw his cutlery on the cake, taunting us, saying "if we still wanted to play with the cake" ........after this terrible experience, I will never go back. Terrible staff, rude, and my experience can only be negative....I strongly advise against it, don't go there! €85 per person!!!!!

01/11/2025: Terrible place. The owner's brother was very rude. The price was high, almost €100.00 per person. For that price, there are more welcoming places with friendly staff, and above all, they don't throw cutlery on your cake, asking if you want to play with it or eat it, especially on my birthday. I will never go back. I don't recommend it.

03/08/2025: Personale gentile e molto disponibile , piatti abbondanti e di qualità ottima . Abbiamo preso uno spaghetto alle vongole e 2 gravioli ripieni di pesce che erano eccezionali, la frittura di paranza e sogliola per mio figlio il Prezzo giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato lo consiglio vivamente.

24/07/2025: Tan bueno que yo y mi prometido hemos estado aquí dos veces seguidas (hora de la cena y al día siguiente hora del almuerzo). La relación calidad-precio es totalmente vale la pena la visita. El propietario y el maitre es muy amable y también adecuadamente preparado. Los platos estaban absolutamente deliciosos; recomendamos ir a una comida a base de pescado, porque todo estaba bien cocinado y con sabor. En consecuencia, sugiero probar el aperitivo frío y caliente, luego ir por el marisco de cicatello y pesto y definitivamente debe tener el pescado frito (uno de los más crujientes que he tenido) todo acompañado de una buena botella de vino blanco local. Simplemente: ¡a por IT!

15/12/2025: I had a truly wonderful meal. The service was excellent. The prices were fair. The staff was excellent. Definitely worth trying, it was the highlight of the day.

05/09/2025: You'll find everything. The restaurant is very flexible, offering everything from pizza to fish or meat, vegetarian and even vegan options. Excellent pizzas, even with alternative doughs, like spelt. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

08/09/2025: Le pieds dans l'eau! A wonderful place where you can have lunch or dinner with the sound of the sea, very romantic. I had amazing paccheri with lobster, a delicious fish main course, and an exquisite dessert. Attentive and friendly service, Carlo was able to please us and fulfill all our requests. I'll be back very soon!

28/08/2025: Five stars aren't the same as a 10 at school, but the lunch by the sea (not with a sea view, but right by the sea) is worth every penny, and well worth the trip. The food is of unquestionable quality.
