The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s.
Prices are not in line with the culinary offerings.
Appetizer and two first courses: €65 per person.
01/02/2026: We went to this restaurant for the first time. We'd heard great things about it, and I can confirm everything. Delicious food, friendly staff. The family atmosphere makes you feel at home from the first moment.

A comfortable setting near the waterfront, the dishes are effortless, showcasing the freshness of the fish through their simplicity. Highly recommended.

15/04/2026: One of the historic restaurants on the Trabocchi Coast, specializing in brodetto, which is truly excellent.
The quality of the fish is excellent, and the menu offers a good selection of dishes, all very well cooked.
The wine selection is also excellent, with many local wines to suit all budgets.
The staff is young, but there's plenty of room for improvement.
I definitely recommend it.

26/03/2026: If I'm in this area, I've been coming here for several years. I used to come for work, now it's for fun. An honest, clean place with reasonable prices. Anyone with higher expectations in their reviews can go elsewhere or let them manage a similar place. Recommended.

19/01/2026: I chose the €20 lunch menu, as advertised on the chalkboard outside.
Inside, I had spaghetti with tuna, which arrived after half an hour, and very greasy fried fish, 1/4 cup of wine, bottled water (open), and coffee.
If you don't like people spending less, don't order these menus.

30/04/2026: As a native of Abruzzo and Pescara, I can say that at Scalo di Montesilvano you can eat the best fish in Abruzzo. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff is always helpful, polite, and professional. For my family and I, it's a regular stop when we want a place where we can eat beautifully and enjoy a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere.
18/04/2026: Overall, a mediocre experience. The food was decent, but not enough to justify the final bill.
The service was poor: we weren't presented with the menu or the wine list; we were directed directly to what was offered, without many options.
The bill was €65 per person for a cold and hot appetizer and a coffee. No selection of raw fish, no dessert, and not even a liqueur. Considering the area, quantity, and quality of the dishes, the price was decidedly high.
The quality-price ratio was unsatisfactory. Not recommended.

15/09/2025: We returned like every year, but this time a little disappointed, a problem with the service of the dishes, the chitarrina with clams was a fettuccine and I assure you that there is a big difference, poor communication with the customer, the place is nice at lunch, less so in the evening, the pizza is good but the mussels are a mix of fresh and old.

06/04/2026: We spent the Easter Monday 2026 event with friends in the Lance room. It was a lovely location, with engaging music, but the food was meager. The appetizers were awful, the first course inedible, and the second course was meager and tasteless. In short, to get something to eat, we were forced to buy some arrosticini from the drying rack in the garden. We won't be returning!
09/11/2025: A place that is nothing short of magnificent and elegant, even though I think it is dated in its existence, I had the pleasure of celebrating Halloween evening in this location with an organised package and with a small group of friends, taking advantage of the fact that there are also accommodations, we also stayed to sleep.

27/04/2026: Went for lunch on Sunday with friends, and the restaurant was packed. We had to wait over an hour to order (even just drinks), plus a good amount of time for the mains. They even brought us dishes from another table; the staff was friendly enough but in a complete panic. In the end, the lunch wasn't bad, though some items on the menu weren't available, like the pasta options.

Very fair prices, good first courses, delicious fried food, and excellent white wine by the glass.
Really pleasant location, no problem even when we were with our dog. Highly recommended.
