29/03/2025: THE BEST PAELLA!!! AND A VERY KIND STAFF!!!

16/03/2025: I just went to this Casa Fernandez restaurant and ate a Valencian paella which was the bomb! They speak Spanish and therefore they are really Spanish and it is not the classic improvised restaurant, The rice was perfect, with the right flavor and ideal cooking. The mix of meat, seafood and vegetables was really good, every bite was super tasty. The staff was really friendly and made us feel like we were at home. Strictly Spanish music, the atmosphere is very welcoming, ideal for a quiet dinner with friends! If you are in the area, I absolutely recommend it, the paella is a must try! I can't wait to go back!

23/03/2025: Ci siamo capitati per caso e d'istinto siamo entrati. Pur essendo sabato e non avendo prenotato, veniamo fatti accomodare al tavolo. Ambiente accogliente e pulito, personale gentile e premuroso senza esagerare. Ottimo sia il polipo che le capesante ma veramente squisito il baccalà con polenta. Ottima esperienza certamente da ripetere alla prossima occasione di essere in riva al lago di Garda

17/03/2025: A slightly hidden place in the center of Bardolino which contains a refined atmosphere inside. It is not the classic tourist restaurant that offers the same things as the other places on the lakefront. The owners are very kind, thoughtful and put the customer at ease; for example, three of us had two appetizers and they brought us 3 hot dishes. Excellent appetizers, good first courses (although the spaghetti with sardines are very tasty, but the ragù "made itself felt" during the afternoon...... hence the 4 rating on the food) and the desserts (classic). The sweets with coffee are a gem. Average prices and perhaps low in relation to quality and environment. Must try!

04/04/2025: Siamo state a cena, posto molto carino, piatti presentati bene, personale gentile. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto ed un primo piatto. Entrambi buoni: io ho preso polipo morbido e gustoso ma 4 pezzetti di due centimetri con tanta salsa, e 40 grammi di bavette con le vongole, un calice di prosecco e acqua minerale. Qualcuno ha preso il dolce e caffé. Ció che lascia stupiti ê il prezzo, 50 euro cadauno, troppi soldi per aver mangiato bene ma poco...

28/09/2024: Sono stato con mia moglie per il nostro anniversario, incuriosito dalla stella e dalla buona nomea. Location sicuramente molto bella e curata, particolare dover suonare il campanello al cancello per farsi aprire ed entrare con l'auto, ma il viale di cipressi secolari è stupendo. Seduti al tavolo abbiamo notato che ogni tavolo ha aspettato almeno 10 minuti prima che si avvicinasse qualcuno, sarà una strategia, ma abbastanza fastidiosa. Propongono una carta dell'acqua, con scelte molto ricercate, costose, ma è un capriccio simpatico, ne abbiamo provate 2 diverse! Come menù abbiamo preso il percorso scelto dallo Chef, quello che pensavamo fosse il migliore, purtroppo è stato abbastanza banale, abbiamo mangiato tanto pane.. il piatto peggiore: 6 fusilli stracotti su 4 salse diverse. Piatto quasi imbarazzante. A fine cena il carrello dei formaggi è invece ottimo, gran selezione, molto ben servita, mancava qualche nome importante, ma quello che presentavano era una gran scelta. Tema vini, nota dolente, volevamo una bella bottiglia, il sommelier ci convince a provare il suo percorso (55 euro a testa), io accetto a 2 condizioni: NON vini del luogo ed almeno 1 bollicina. Su 4 vini portati, 3 erano della casa e neanche 1 bollicina. Non era più onesto dirmelo prima e farmi prendere una bottiglia??? Aveva forse meno margine?? Invece la vera caduta di stile, cosa su cui vi avverto, perché rasenta la truffa è la bollicina di benvenuto. Dopo i 10 minuti di attesa iniziali, passa il sommelier tra i tavoli con un carrellino e varie bottiglie, offrendo un aperitivo di benvenuto nell'attesa di ordinare. Il bicchiere di champagne (Cantina Rothschild) di benvenuto costa ben 30 euro a persona... cosa non detta e non scritta da nessuna parte. Questa cosa è vietata per legge. In conclusione, avendo speso quasi 500 euro in 2, mi aspettavo molto di più, soprattutto dal menù e dai vini, peccato perché la location ed il servizio è veramente di alto livello. Purtroppo non credo che torneremo, l'aperitivo è una vera presa in giro..

18/09/2024: Menù "In viaggio con lo chef" molto interessante, divertenti i fusilloni, anche se forse ho gradito di più l'altro primo; la portata preferita è stato lo scampo marinato. Buono anche il dolce, che di solito è un po' il punto debole di quasi tutti gli stellati che abbiamo provato (anche se ammetto che non sono poi così tanti). Personale attento e gentile, per il nostro anniversario hanno avuto un occhio di riguardo che è stato davvero gradito e per una volta ci hanno proposto il calice di prosecco senza usare la formula un po' ambigua del "possiamo offrirvi" (noi abbiamo scelto un prosecco rosè della loro cantina che tra l'altro era delizioso). L'unica cosa che, nonostante ci fossero i condizionatori, abbiamo sofferto un po' il caldo, ma eravamo in un periodo particolarmente torrido, devo dire. Consiglio di andarci a pranzo per poter godere della vista, di cui ovviamente a cena non abbiamo potuto usufruire.

16/03/2025: We recently had lunch at this restaurant and, overall, the dining experience was very positive. The dishes were well prepared, with balanced flavors and fresh ingredients. However, the service left something to be desired. In particular, the bottles of wine were only brought to the table after we had already finished the courses, rather than before or during the meal, as we expected. Furthermore, the glasses were not suitable for the type of wine we had ordered, a detail that somewhat affected the overall experience. If the service had been more attentive and attentive, it would certainly have been an even more pleasant experience.

17/12/2024: Ein tolles Restaurant in direkter Seelage. Riesige Auswahl an Pizza und Pasta. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Die Kinder waren auch ganz begeistert. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

16/10/2024: Update 2024: improved service and food, too bad that next year the temporary closure for works is planned. We will wait for 2026! 2022. Always a nice place but: slowness and distraction in the staff. A diner's dish had been forgotten, none of the waiters had noticed that it was missing from the table... Dry and burnt pizza, good linguine allo scoglio but a little lacking in pasta. Let's hope it improves and returns to being our ---> 2021: favorite inn on the lake!

06/03/2025: Conocí este sitio porque estaba en la zona y buscaba en Google algo cercano y tipico. Dogamos que he acertado. Parking muu grande y comodo. Sitio que parece estar en otro siglo. Me pareció ser una casa noble del 700 o por hay... hay varias habitaciones en un ambiente cuidado y que se ha dejado como era. Personal joven y majo. Pedí los bigoli all'anatra (pato). , buenos aunque la salsa me habría gustado menos liquida (parece como si no se hubiera mantecado bien al final de la cocción). Luego he pedido polenta con baccalá (bueno aunque deberían intenyar a quitar todas las espinas). Como acompañamiento unas verduritas cocidas, kuy buenas. El pan destaca por su calidad. Precio bueno.

30/03/2025: Restaurant in the heart of Garda, convenient location and adjacent to the lake. Indoor and outdoor tables, structure large enough even for larger groups. Specialists in fish cuisine with many varied raw dishes and also grilled specialities. The staff is kind and helpful. It met our needs. I recommend it and we will return.
