Very beautiful historic place. Excellent restoration. Excellent food: we had a cold cuts platter, delicious handmade bread, and a delicious asparagus pasta dish. Everything was excellent, even the desserts.

Introduction: I wanted to eat five-star meat, and I ate a five-star Florentine steak that was superior to other renowned restaurants in Verona. Yes, it's a bit difficult to find the entrance, and in the winter the patio area is neglected... but as soon as you enter the restaurant, with a window overlooking the kitchen, three warm and comfortable rooms, professional and passionate service (two waiters and the owner took turns at the table to make us feel comfortable)... you know you're in the right place. Fresh asparagus salad, perfect Florentine steak with buttery marbling and boldness, good side dish, and a wine request that wasn't on the list but was perfectly spot on. A chat with the owner, with licorice liqueur on the table, convinced me to return and bring friends. Very good.

A hidden trattoria on Via Legnago, the road that leads from Borgo Roma to Galassia in San Giovanni Lupatoto. The place is small, but the food was excellent. I had the artichoke and pancetta garganelli, followed by a delicious slice of Pluma di Patanegra with cooked seasonal vegetables. The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, and melted in the mouth. For dessert, the classic tiramisu. Service was quick and courteous, and the prices were moderately high, but the food quality was unimpressive. The only downside was the untidy and unclean entrance. A sign with the name of the trattoria should be posted at the entrance, otherwise customers might have trouble finding the restaurant.

The trattoria is a bit hidden, but the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are attentive and friendly.
Excellent dishes, especially the appetizers and first courses; I can't comment on the meat dishes because we were already full. The desserts were good, especially the Niuorchese cheesecake.
The wine selection was very good, good quality, as per good Venetian tradition, and I'd say not overly expensive.
Next time I'll tell you about the second courses.
