24/06/2025: Good paella. Chaotic service. Friendly staff, but mess everywhere.

18/06/2025: We came across Casa Fernandez on Friday evening, after having spotted their paella several times during various trips to Garda… and finally decided to try it! We booked a couple of hours in advance (the paella is on request — it is highly recommended to book in advance also because the restaurant has few seats and fills up quickly). The restaurant is located in a charming street in the center, a few minutes from the lakefront. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We chose the traditional Valencian paella: a large portion and really tasty (the photos speak for themselves - “Clean plates don’t lie”). We accompanied it all with half a liter of sangria and still water, spending about 25 euros each, an excellent quality-price ratio. One detail that we really appreciated: the owners speak Spanish among themselves, which adds a nice touch of authenticity — I imagine they are originally from Spain. In short: excellent dinner. We will definitely be back!

02/06/2025: Very clean, well-kept and spacious rooms, beautiful view, very friendly staff, the restaurant in front (always managed by the hotel managers, offers good breakfasts. In the evening it is possible to have dinner, the proposals are not many but they are well executed and the raw material is of quality, the restaurant enjoys a beautiful view of the lake

02/06/2025: The seating is nice, but as a German, you're treated like a second-class citizen. I was sitting at a nice table for two and was sent away, only to be seated further back. Very unpleasant.

13/06/2025: Terrible restaurant. Although they advertise it as air-conditioned, they only have HEAT PUMPS, so in summer... you sweat like a chicken in a roasting tin. On top of that, while sitting at the tables for lunch, the sun shines directly on an entire row of tables. You should be equipped as if you were going to the beach, including umbrellas. A SHAME. TIP: They only stay open during the winter months, and that way they save on air conditioning. It's a joke. And the food is nothing special, the only saving grace is the tiramisu. Don't go.

22/03/2025: It was our first time on Lake Garda and we are very happy with our choice of hotel. The family-run, stylish hotel places great emphasis on service. Waking up in a stylish room with a beautiful view of Lake Garda and being welcomed by really helpful and friendly staff is worth a lot. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and there is something for everyone. The restaurant offers very good cuisine combined with a very good wine selection. We can highly recommend the hotel.

24/06/2025: Very good pizza and friendly staff! Although I didn't like the additional cost of basil, since basil was also included in the ingredients of the Margherita pizza. Place also chosen by Barbieri, met weeks ago to enjoy a pizza with his collaborators. Highly recommended!

23/06/2025: This is how they cheat on tourists, read everything carefully. Servizio 10% 15 euro ? We got scammed of 10 euro, Watch out everyone !! Even with servizio 10% ( which ja 5.15 euro we should pay ~56 euro but they charged us 66, we noticed it a few hours later.

09/06/2025: By far the most authentic restaurant I have been to in Verona. It is a family owned establishment, the service is very quick and kind, and the owner is obviously very passionate and takes care of his customers. Open late and affordable!

23/06/2025: As we walked past, we were drawn to the restaurant because it was in a quiet area. The menu, however, doesn't offer much choice. We were initially told that lasagna was no longer available that day. We then ordered spaghetti carbonara and macaroni with meatballs, along with a mixed salad. The carbonara was quite tasty. The meatballs were completely forgotten in the macaroni, so it was just macaroni with a tomato sauce. And the salad was overpriced at €8 and a bit disappointing. The service, unfortunately, wasn't that good either. We asked for the bill and had to wait 20 minutes before we went inside and paid ourselves. The waiter could have also suggested that it would be better to pay inside. A €2.50 per person charge is added to the bill for the table setting. So, unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

22/06/2025: Quiet. Local. Cool. Informal. Good reasonable food. We had anchovies and tartare. Delicious.

06/06/2025: Called in for lunch, friendly welcoming, sat outside, couple of cool beers, shared a Sicilian pizza, fries and mixed salad, finished off with an espresso. Left very happy.

04/06/2025: Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und auf unsere Wünsche wurde hilfreich eingegangen. Sehr leckere Pasta, auf den Punkt genau und geschmackvoll. Preis / Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Kann ich empfehlen. Danke an den tollen Service!

21/05/2025: I went there on a Sunday evening in May, when I called to book they asked me to bring forward the time a little, when we arrived it was almost empty and even when we left there were not many tables occupied, I don't understand why they asked us to bring forward. The pizza was decent, but a little fatty. The prices are a little high for what they offer. The service was fast, but the empty place makes me sad and as for the location, so on the road it's not the best, I don't think I'll go back, at least not in the summer.

17/06/2025: Worst place we have eaten at whilst being in Italy. The waiter got the order wrong. Service wasn't the best. Asked for mayo and given 2 sachets bit tight. Other half got up to get more. Most expensive meal as well whilst been here with the worst meal and service.
