29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!

06/10/2025: Last night for dinner, my girlfriend and I went to this restaurant (for the second time) and we couldn't be more thrilled! A real GUARANTEE! The service was impeccable, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the owner Andrea, who made us feel right at home. He recommended the fish first course, which was simply AMAZING! The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite. We also ordered the Fassona beef tartare, which was incredibly fresh and high-quality. The portions were generous, and every dish was a feast for the palate. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the generous portions. Andrea was always present and attentive, making us feel welcomed and at ease. Kudos to Andrea and his team for the excellent service and exceptional cuisine.

25/09/2025: There were four of us. The Maxim Hotel sent us a message saying it was very good. Instead, we received a horrible welcome. With unprecedented arrogance, first a boy waiter, then a girl, the same attitude. We waited a bit for the table and then we sat down. Another table became available near us. Since we were near the entrance, we asked if we could change tables. The waiter didn't even answer, just looked annoyed. We changed tables anyway, but no one came to clean the table or even bring us menus. I went to call someone, found a girl, and she said, "I'm coming." I arrived when she saw that the table wasn't ready. She looked annoyed and said, "No." She made us wait a bit longer, came back, took away the dirty glasses, didn't clean the table, and set it up like that. She left again and came back with the menus, threw them on the table, saying, "Only Pizza." She turned and left. At that point, the drop had spilled out. We got up and left. I won't judge the food because unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try it.

12/10/2025: Beautiful place, very quaint. Once inside, it feels like you've stepped back a few hundred years. The food is good, and my favorite dish was the bigoli all'Amedeo. Prices are reasonable.

12/09/2025: This place was recommended to me. I had a mixed grill of fish. The fish was served cold and didn't smell good. The fish wasn't fresh, and the prices were extremely high for the poor quality. I think they serve expired fish. THAT NIGHT I FELT SICK AND VOMITED ALL THE FISH. (I'll never go back.)

10/09/2025: Very welcoming place, we were disappointed not to have the opportunity to be on the terrace, you have to book in advance to have this beautiful view, however the interior is just as beautiful. We ate extremely well, and the team is very welcoming

03/10/2025: The pizzeria is located in the center of Lazise, ​​in the narrow streets. The ambiance is truly lovely. The garden is in the back courtyard, which is truly cozy and inviting. I ordered a mixed fried seafood platter for €18 and a plate of fries for my daughter for €5. The platter was tiny and tasted absolutely awful. It tasted like it had just come out of the freezer. I eventually raised the issue with the cashier. They apologized for the problem and added a €3 discount to the dish (they couldn't offer more). In the end, however, I saw on the bill that I had to pay €4.50 per seat for the cover charge, even though my friend hadn't eaten anything. So disappointing. It's best not to eat here!

02/10/2025: We had a reservation for four people. When we arrived, there was a wedding reception in the courtyard. We were given a table inside, and then the drama began. Our order was taken without any notes. An appetizer was forgotten and only brought after two requests. Then a main course was served incorrectly, and all the dishes were only lukewarm. No request for more drinks or dessert. Absolutely no service. We waited forever for the bill, then paid at the bar to cut it short. When I answered "No" to the question "Are we satisfied?" and listed the issues, I was met with a shrug. Unfortunately…

27/09/2025: As an expert reviewer and member of AIS (Italian Sommelier Association), we returned to this Roman restaurant at the suggestion of a friend. We probably found the kitchen and staff having a bad day... the restaurant was packed! But let's start with the drinks: the wine list is good, but there's only one red and two white wines by the glass... honestly, a limited selection. I understand that they want to push customers to buy a bottle, but in today's context, to save their driving license, it would be better to expand the selection! Wine was poured at the bar and not at the table without presenting the bottle. A friend asked for a beer and there was no choice, only draft lager and no bottles. The food: Jewish-style artichokes that had little of the original recipe, I would call them assassin-style artichokes... they were dry and overcooked, probably fried in the fryer, and tasted of fish (a friend with a fish allergy asked if the French fries were cooked and not contaminated by fish, the answer was no, so I assume the same oil was used for everything). However, apart from the heart of the artichoke, the rest should be discarded because it was dry. We ordered the first courses, two people ordered the carbonara and the feedback was positive, while I and two other friends ordered the cacio e pepe... definitely a terrible dish, which all three found to be reheated and without the necessary cream, the cheese had clumps and the pasta was overcooked... I left about 70% on the plate, a friend ate it all and his wife left 50%, I called the owner to tell her about the failed dish, she replied that I should have told her about the problem immediately, but she would have remade the dishes for me, I replied that it wasn't the case... but another cacio e pepe was forcibly prepared... perhaps they were afraid that I didn't want to pay for it, another friend who lived in Rome wanted to eat it, but after one bite he left it all there!! Asserting that in his opinion, but also in my opinion, the pasta undergoes pre-cooking... at this point we no longer order anything and ask for the bill, where we find an error in the table settings: we booked for 8 and were charged 9, a venial sin that was remedied immediately, but the bill didn't go smoothly either!! If I were the owner, I wouldn't have charged for the dish and would have tried to keep the customers... I understand that in Peschiera del Garda the turnover of tourists is considerable, therefore, especially in the summer months, there is no shortage of customers!! However, catering done with passion, with the aim of satisfying the customer, is not this!!

12/08/2025: Excellent staff, attentive and always smiling. We have a beautiful restaurant. Be wary of others in the area, who serve blood lab-sized portions. The food here is truly good, with generous portions. I happily stop here every year for my lakeside vacation because I'm always satisfied. I recommend the Carbonara or the Tagliatelle Rosa with Salmon, the sirloin steak, and the pizza—every dish is worth trying. Very easy to find, with parking in front of the restaurant. If it's busy, go 100 meters and turn onto Via San Faustino, right in front of the town hall. There's a large parking lot and a public children's playground with video surveillance. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. The pizza maker is excellent. Excellent management. Keep up the good work, Luca.

Les dejamos seleccionar carnes y queso locales, agarramos una botella de soave y seguimos hacia el área de picnic que tienen justo en el río. Fue hermoso, delicioso y relajante. Sinceramente, habría caminado por este lugar si no lo hubiera sabido mejor.
