01/11/2025: A super Roman restaurant with spectacular, well-prepared dishes, just like in Rome. The owner is from Tivoli and clearly cares. We tried the carbonara, artichoke alla Giudia, lamb chops, and fried calamari. Everything was spectacular, I highly recommend it!

29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!

02/12/2025: Franca is a rare host, Luigi is an equally exceptional waiter. It's one of those Italian trattorias worthy of WWF protection. Truly traditional, with a few unusual dishes, but exceptional nonetheless. We'll be back soon!

01/12/2025: A lovely Sunday lunch. The dining room on the first floor is very welcoming. The food is delicious, and the wine is excellent. The dessert deserves an honorable mention: the sbrisolona with cream was excellent! Signora Franca was very friendly; we'll be happy to return!

02/11/2025: We got the tip from a guidebook, but we were very impressed. The restaurant is almost directly on the lake, with a fantastic view and a wonderful atmosphere when the sun is shining. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, providing unobtrusive service.

23/10/2025: Closed. The information on Google Maps and their website isn't updated. Closed all day. There's no information even on the doors. Their attitude toward people is disrespectful.

08/10/2025: The spaghetti with salmon was soaked with wine that it was almost inedible. Unfortunately, there was no indication whatsoever that the sauce had been seasoned with wine. The wonderful ambiance was spoiled by several power outages; Italian electrical systems must be reaching their limits with the heaters in October.

01/12/2025: Yesterday, six of us had breakfast. The waitress was very rude and inadequate; she even threw crumbs from our previous meal onto our laps. We were sitting on the veranda, but birds were flying overhead, dirtying our jackets and pants. I don't recommend it.

20/11/2025: I was passing through Verona and was looking for a place to have a quiet lunch, perhaps something traditional. My Google Maps search found Osteria Dogana Vecia, which immediately inspired me, so I decided to give it a try. I showed up without a reservation and, fortunately, found a table. The menu doesn't offer a wide variety of dishes, but the selection is "traditional." I decide to order the ricotta gnocchi with truffle cream, which turns out to be soft, tasty, and satisfying. I'm hungry, and since it looks like a long day, I also dive into the second course of the chicken alla scaligera. Another pleasant surprise that I'm positively impressed with, even though I'm not a fan of raisins. I skipped dessert because there's a limit to everything, but even then, the offer was tempting. I get up, pay €36, and leave, complimenting myself on the excellent lunch. I'm more than satisfied with the meal and the experience at the restaurant. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!

19/10/2025: We stayed one night for the Bardolino 10km race. From the welcome, to the services, to the buffet, but above all, the kindness and willingness of the staff to fulfill our every request, everything was truly excellent. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back!!

13/10/2025: Beautifully located hotel directly on the Cisano waterfront. A great restaurant with tasteful interiors. A wide selection of food and drinks. A picturesque setting. A spacious breakfast room. Decorated in a rather romantic, typically Italian style, yet modern and with a feel-good factor.

08/12/2025: We ate at this restaurant during the Immaculate Conception long weekend, when the city was overrun with tourists. Despite this, thanks in part to the size of the restaurant, we managed to find a table fairly quickly. The staff were very friendly. The location was unique and scenic, considering it was previously a church. The food was excellent; we tried a charcuterie and cheese platter (ample, with very good and fresh cuts), truffle risotto, and pizza. Everything was delicious. The only downside, due to the crowds and the size of the restaurant, was the wait (it took an hour from ordering to the food arriving). Overall, a very positive experience, worth trying when it's not too crowded.

22/11/2025: A service charge of 2.50 euros is added per person. The pizza was so-so, nothing special, but not bad. The pasta was decent, and the 1-liter white wine was very good.

18/11/2025: The lunch was excellent. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment we entered, always kindly serving and clearing the table. I've been to this restaurant several times, and for me, it's always a guarantee of good food.

22/10/2025: While strolling around the city, we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. While all the restaurants had their kitchens closed until evening, this place was open as usual. It was a very large establishment. The dishes we ordered were quite tasty. I'll add... the best lasagna of my entire time in Italy.

21/10/2025: Under new management. Very good food with well-prepared dishes. Unfortunately, the waitress service isn't up to par; they were infrequent even though the restaurant was almost empty.

21/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a truly lovely and relaxing setting just steps from the lake shore, with friendly and helpful staff. I had tagliatelle with trout and zucchini for starters, delicious!

19/09/2025: I've eaten at this lovely restaurant several times. They have an extensive menu. Today we had another delicious meal, accompanied by a good glass of wine. The service was excellent and friendly.
