07/08/2025: Het eten was goede kwaliteit, ook in de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De bediening is vriendelijk, het bedrijfsmodel lijkt erg op omloopsnelheid per tafel gericht. Dat is jammer, want het terras met uitzicht op het meer is fantastisch en doet af aan de sfeer. De beoordeling zou op ruim voldoende moeten staan.

30/07/2025: I had reserved a table for my husband and me on the evening of July 28, 2025. The restaurant was full, but the reservation wasn't particularly important; we were assigned a table without even mentioning our names. The food was served quickly, and the drinks and bread arrived very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. The food was good, no doubt about it. However, the atmosphere was too rushed for us; there was a constant coming and going, and the tables were very close together. Since the restaurant is located directly on the busy promenade of the old harbor, it simply seemed very hectic. The service was professional and friendly, and at the end, we were given a self-service bottle of limoncello. We prefer a quieter and more comfortable seating, especially for longer, preferably somewhere off to the side where people aren't constantly walking past. For this reason, despite the good food, I would choose a different restaurant for us next time. But that's simply due to our subjective experience.

10/08/2025: The food is okay. The people are nice. If you get a seat by the window, you'll have a great view of the lake. Overall, though, the atmosphere is rather dull.

17/07/2025: I raised my review because you responded politely, as I did. I'm all for honesty, so assuming my wife fainted, obviously not because of the food, I want to point out that she felt ill within 2 minutes of the platter of cold cuts arriving at the table, so I'm suspicious of the main courses being prepared. That said, you can't imply that from the €98 bill, you only charged us €40. By law, if a dish is being prepared but not consumed, we as customers are not obligated to pay. The two of us consumed 3 slices of cold cuts and a glass of wine, which I drank alone. If you're willing to pay €40 to go home on an empty stomach, I don't think that's fair. The waiters, I repeat, took steps to bring ice and check on her condition. I didn't expect to leave without paying anything, of course, but a little discount or a voucher to spend next time, that's for sure, if you cared about good publicity and not losing 2 new customers.

16/07/2025: This is my second time here. The quality of the food is confirmed. The price isn't cheap, but for me, it's actually in line with the quality.

04/08/2025: Menù che offre molte alternative, area bimbi molto apprezzata, personale gentilissimo, bella location, posto ben curato e pulito. Cibo più che discreto, quantità buone, Conto alto considerando la qualità di ciò che è stato portato (per esempio, bicchiere di prosecco a 6 euro, vino alla spina a 12.6euro/l, coperto 2.9e/persona e pagando anche una bambina di 1 anno)

21/06/2025: The atmosphere and vibe of the place is always fantastic? This time I went for dinner on Saturday. Spaghetti allo scoglio as it should be and a trilogy of fish carpaccios good. Fast service. Definitely recommended!

18/07/2025: The lunch menu is fairly limited, not much choice, but what we chose was tasty. Quite noisy, with a group from the next table not speaking... they were shouting after a few bottles (they were house guests, since they knew the waitresses). The price is a bit steep.

06/08/2025: We sought out La Costa in Bra after seeing another coeliac's positive review on Facebook. What can I say - this was the worst meal ever. Service was slow. I mean painfully slow - after 45 minutes we received our starters. We got replacement cutlery which was dirty. Then waited a further 30 minutes for our main - 2 pizzas. When they arrived my pizza was not gluten free as requested, and my partners pizza came looking so unappetising and inedible. We asked what the issue was - where they went wrong, very basic apology. Paid for the wine and the starter €60 and left hungry. They really need to get their act into gear. I will be contacting the Italian coeliac organisation as they have numerous awards.

27/07/2025: We would definitely come back! Delicious food - some of the best in Garda, and very friendly service. 😍 We've eaten here twice and are very enthusiastic about the pasta with grandma's meatballs and the fresh tuna with a pistachio crust. The tiramisu is also fresh and delicious. We've had a lovely spot on the terrace both times and understand that the alleyway might not be the most pleasant - so definitely go for the terrace spot! Vitello tonato, 2 aperol, fresh tuna, pasta, 2 limoncello, and tiramisu - €85

17/07/2025: Very tasty pizza, the "Sofia Lauren" is highly recommended. The staff is also very attentive and friendly. They also think about the food and serve it in a child-friendly manner.

17/06/2025: This place is fantastic! I would call it genuine both for the location and for the food. We left super full, with a selection of hot and cold vegetable-based appetizers, a first course, second course and dessert. Everything was extremely good, healthy and different from the usual proposals of Veronese restaurants. I give applause to the waitress: very kind and punctual in the description of each course. The view of the city and the climate make everything very romantic and intimate. The price is also excellent! I highly recommend it.

09/05/2025: Katerina and her team are fantastic, beautiful place and good food. I recommend everyone even just to drink an aperitif in the fully stocked chisco bar which is near the super TOP car park.

07/08/2025: Highly recommended trattoria. The atmosphere is very pleasant both inside and out. It's located in the Porta Vescovo area, amidst the buildings, but it has a cool, pergola-covered outdoor garden. The food is very good. A few dishes are well-crafted and made with selected ingredients (in the winter, I ate a risotto with typical "trumpets of the dead" mushrooms, something I'd never found anywhere else). In the summer, we ate fresh and original dishes (I ate a ravioli filled with incredibly soft polenta and topped with Gorgonzola). The Lugana wine the chef brought us also surprised us. Finally, I'd like to add compliments for the service, both from the waitress and the chef, who roams the tables. A truly wonderful experience.

12/08/2025: I can't remember ever being so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant. I stumbled upon it almost by chance, on the way to the Madonna della Corona sanctuary. I appreciated the intimate setting (a room at the entrance plus a hidden, cooler one behind it), the timeless atmosphere of the rustic interiors featuring stone, plaster, and antique wooden beams, the attentiveness and kindness of the waiter, the quality of the dishes, from the (very fresh) ingredients to the cooking, from the generous portions to the wine pairing advice. In short, a sensory experience, more than just a meal. Highly recommended. Bravo!

11/08/2025: A very nice restaurant with very friendly service. Italian is spoken, but ordering is still easy. Despite the proximity to Lake Garda, most of the guests seem to be local. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and you can have a wonderful time here. But the best part was the food. My risotto con porchini was a poem.

29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!
