07/07/2025: We went there this weekend to eat a good fish dish. Excellent and super fresh fish. Excellent grilled sea bass. Very kind and super helpful staff. Honest prices. We will be back.

20/08/2025: The pizza is acceptable, but the price is high compared to the average—this might be understandable given the location, but the service is not up to par. In a beautiful and well-kept setting like the castle, finding a dining room with artificial plants and indifferent service is unpleasant and doesn't justify the medium-high price point.

26/08/2025: Really disappointed. I ordered the scallops (Scaloppine al limone) and when the waiter brought our food I pointed out that this was not what I had ordered but he insisted! I got some sort of naked schnitzel! Will not go there again and definitely not recommend!
18/08/2025: The ambiance is very nice! Otherwise, unfortunately, a disappointment.
Caprese salad with unripe tomatoes; vitello tonnato for €15, a very small portion. The pasta with salmon was very tasteless and had a lot of oil.
When paying, we were practically told how to pay. Sorry, but I want to decide for myself whether to pay together or separately.
Definitely never again!

02/09/2025: The beer was undrinkable; some might like that flavor, but I didn't like it at all. The shrimp in the spaghetti were falling apart from age, the pasta was hard, and not al dente. After eating this combination, I barely made it to the restroom at the parking lot, which was less than a 40-minute walk away, and that was it for the visit. It's a good thing the portion was small, which also doesn't reflect the price.
26/08/2025: A historic, very welcoming place with a lovely terrace. The staff is very polite and always ready to offer advice. I also recommend the pizza. If you're in the area, stop by!

08/08/2025: The food is excellent, with a fixed menu for €14 and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is operatic during the week, but who cares? The people are genuine and super friendly.
25/06/2025: I was there on Sunday 22-06-2025 after my dad wanted to take us for years… I had a great time, the manager was SUPER SUPER kind and helpful. The food was excellent, I took a gnocchi with duck as a first course and veal with tuna sauce as a second course… what can I say, one better than the other, you could tell they were homemade, and the veal with tuna sauce had its amazing sauce and was cut thin, the right portions for the price it has.
An experience to ABSOLUTELY DO AGAIN

03/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and rooms, a varied sweet and savory breakfast, and friendly staff. The restaurant is very popular, but the service is fast, well-organized, and the food is excellent, both the starters and main courses of meat and fish.
Finally, the immaculately maintained garden and pool are ideal for parties and ceremonies.

26/08/2025: This isn't my first time at Ristorante Pizzeria Papillon, and every time is a confirmation! The place is large, clean, and very tidy, making you feel immediately at ease. The service is impeccable and fast, with always friendly staff. The pizzas are truly delicious, but the fish is a real guarantee: fresh and cooked to perfection! And what can I say about the desserts... simply delicious. All at very fair prices. A place I always love to return to and one I recommend without hesitation!
26/07/2025: I can't rate the food; I can only say that I tried to book a table, and when I asked if I could bring my dog (9kg, elderly, and delicious), the lady (with an elderly voice) said no.
I immediately canceled the table and politely said goodbye.
Saint her in the background, talking to someone in a sarcastic tone:
I wanted to bring the dog, I got a no-no, imagine that!
There are many ways to interact with customers, and this seems like a terrible way to do it.
Retrograde and rude!

For adults, it depends on what they're looking for.
Too crowded, and the wait for a drink is out of the question.
It could be a top-notch nightclub, but it's sorely missing.
21/08/2025: I went here for a company dinner. It's a very beautiful and well-kept place, suitable for both dinner and dancing. The food is good quality. There's a wide selection of pizzas, appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The Amarone risotto was a bit disappointing.
Excellent table service.

Regarding the meat, I'm sorry, but it's not quite right. I was attracted by the photos of the cuts displayed on the counter so you could select them... crazy prices for the breed and types offered... I expect €8-10 per 100g for Creekstone Farms and/or similar, in any case meat that comes from renowned farms.
Completely incorrect cooking, and he didn't even ask any of the guests how they liked it. Those who wanted it rare received it overdone. Those who wanted it medium rare... I wanted it rare and it arrived raw and inedible (my girlfriend left it there).
I've never seen a thick cut cooked, then sliced it, and re-grilled the cut pieces.
What a shame!
19/08/2025: The restaurant is beautiful and the service is attentive; it's a shame that the meat, the restaurant's star, arrived undercooked and flavorless. Given such a high bill, the overall experience is very disappointing.

04/09/2025: After not being able to get a table for one person at a competitor with 4.4 stars during rush hour, I received a very warm welcome, excellent service, and excellent food here. The pizza Quattro Stagioni was truly outstanding, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. I'd be happy to come back – I definitely recommend it! 😀

29/08/2025: After the Friday market, we ended up here just in time for lunch. Sitting at a table by the lake and under cover from the sun, it had the perfect holiday atmosphere.
We ate a selection of Pizzas, myself opting for the pizza Garda, which went down a treat. All the food and drinks were well priced and the service was fast and friendly.
26/08/2025: Very good pizza, homemade pasta and a great view.

07/09/2025: Perfect restaurant to kickoff our time in Venice! Live music, great service, and delicious food. Our server just asked if we wanted red or white wine, nothing else, and came back with the most perfect bottle of white wine for us! The pizza & pasta was top notch! And then ended our dining experience with complementary limoncello shots. Could not have asked for a better evening!!

06/08/2025: my best friend and i stumbled across this little place for dinner t, and we were SO warmly welcomed! our waiter Kazi took amazing care of us, and brought us such a delicious dinner! my pasta, her lasagne and our limoncello spritzes were delicious! i definitely recommend coming here for a meal in venice!
