10/04/2026: We ate there twice and were thrilled. The staff is very friendly, the food is superb, and the view of Lake Garda is fantastic.
09/04/2026: Unfortunately, we weren't served even though we politely asked for a table and were shown to one. While we waited, we observed other guests being served rudely. Very disappointing!

22/04/2026: Most of Venice seems artificial, overpriced and honestly, second-rate. Al Mascaron is, refreshingly; the opposite of this trend: super nice and attentive local staff, fair prices and amazing quality food (both the ingredients and the preparation). A must!
15/04/2026: I have eaten at Al Mascaron a few times before. Long history and the owner is right there serving wines and taking your order.
The Taglierini Scoglio was excellent and loaded with critters from the lagoon. Antipasto di Pesce showcased traditional preparations of classic Venetian appetizers. Grazie!

23/02/2026: I went for pizza with a friend on Saturday, February 21st. The pizza chef was super professional, the waiters were very friendly, and the quality/price ratio was top notch.

12/04/2026: Arquà Petrarca is a picturesque village in the Euganean Hills (Padua) featuring the medieval home of the poet Petrarch and his sarcophagus in the church square. The small Osteria al Guerriero is within sight of the church and also offers some outdoor seating. It primarily serves very tasty Venetian dishes, including the delicious bigoli pasta (very thick spaghetti).

21/09/2025: We had spaghetti with clams for lunch, but they weren't real clams... plus a plate of mussels, but they were dry and reheated!!! I definitely won't be back!
16/09/2025: Great pizza with a large salad for €10. A liter of rosé wine and a bottle of water cost €58. We ate there twice in a row, totaling €116. Unfortunately, the salad on the second day was only half the size for the same price. We complained to the waiter in English. When he told management, he came back and said everything was freshly prepared.
We couldn't make much sense of that answer. From then on, we were practically ignored as customers. When we paid, they asked if everything was alright, but that was it; they didn't address our concerns. A certain arrogance. There are certainly other good restaurants in town.
This was our last time there.

Good food. The bill was a shame. We ordered two appetizers to share, and a side dish. Two first courses, and a dessert. The bill showed that the appetizers were for four, and the side dishes for two. We paid and left with a smile because the food was
really good. When we got home, we thought it was fair to share that the place wasn't busy, but trying to maximize sales by avoiding customers isn't a strategy that pays off in the long run... sorry, because I repeat, the food is good and the atmosphere is welcoming. In any case, I WON'T BE BACK!

28/09/2025: A fairytale wedding at this estate, nestled in the greenery and overlooking the lake. Even though it was drizzling yesterday, the photos captured the beauty of the view perfectly. The dishes were excellent, my favorites being the appetizers. The cold cuts, polenta, and salami were delicious. Many thanks to the owner for her kindness.

28/03/2026: We went for dinner (6 adults and two children) using The Fork app. The dinner was delicious, with generous portions and high quality. The dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful, and they even made gluten-free pasta for me without any problem. They applied the discount without any issues; the restaurant was right across from our apartment, which was a great bonus.
