18/05/2025: Nice inviting place for the location and view. Varied menu, from burgers, salads and pizzas. Terrible Pizza, good salad and also the other dishes were good. Kind and present staff. A mistake in paying the bill, it can happen, solved with a refund and apologies.

24/05/2025: Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wir kommen seit 3 Jahren jedesmal hierher. Das Essen ist TOP, das Personal ist TOP - vorallem Ben. Der Chef ist super freundlich und charismatisch! Wir empfehlen es jedem weiter!!! Einfach unvergleichlich!!!

05/05/2025: Era un paio d'anni che non andavo e sono rimasta veramente male. Sono andata per anni in tutte e tre le pizzerie per la bontà della pizza e ingredienti. Questa volta purtroppo sono rimasta davvero delusa solo mozzarella o formaggio, niente pomodoro. Ho preso la puzza tris al metro maxera solo con mozzarella. Credo che non ci tornerò più. Mi spiace

09/05/2025: Like another reviewer mentioned the vibe was off from the start. Instead of bread we received prepackaged crunchy bread sticks. We should have left then.
We ordered bruschetta and 2 pizzas. One of the pizzas was so spicy you couldn't even taste the gorgonzola. If you've tasted gorgonzola you know how hard that is.
The second pizza just tasted off. I'm pretty sure it was the mushrooms. Every other pizza we had in Italy had fresh mushrooms on the pizza. These were slimy like they were canned or jarred.
The bruschetta was missed. Not a big deal. I ordered house sparkling wine. It also didn't come out. In the middle of the meal the waitress brought a big bottle of water.
We wanted to check the bill to make sure it was correct. The waitress went through it with us. No apology for the missed drink or bruschetta until later. Her first priority was to get the large bottle of water added into the bill as we were only charged for a small one. She had an exchange in Italian with the waiter who took our order since she didn't return after we said we wanted to wait a bit to order. He seemed pleasant so that was a plus. After that she said she would leave the charge of the small bottle of water for the inconvenience of not receiving our order.
We're not even really that picky. It just makes me suspicious of other reviews. If you are anywhere else at local, homegrown Italian places you'd know how unauthentic this was. We had better pizza for €8.
Piece of advice. if no one around you is speaking Italian; run.

A very nice place, next to La Fenice, where you can have a drink before the show.
The customer service is terrible. There was a new waiter, who was having a really bad time. I don't think he had much help and no one had explained anything to him.
They treated us like tourists, just to collect our money for terrible service.
We waited 25 minutes for a cocktail and couldn't eat anything because they didn't serve us well. In total, we waited 45 minutes.
Basically, they ignored us, even though the restaurant was practically empty at that time. When it was time to pay, we tried to tell them we hadn't eaten, and the bartender (who came very quickly to collect the money)
just said, "Yes, yes, ma'am, yes, it's €28, yes, yes, €28"… completely ignoring us, and with terrible treatment and manner of addressing us, a shame.
Venice is a city that thrives on tourism, and everyone can have a bad day, but you have to treat customers with a minimum of politeness and professionalism, and not treat them solely to make money, thinking another tourist will come later. That's what makes places die of success.
I don't usually write negative reviews of places, but I really felt bad there. I think the beautiful place could be managed differently.
Thankfully, when I entered the Opera House and saw the beauty of the theater and the performance, I forgot everything else.
