23/06/2025: As we walked past, we were drawn to the restaurant because it was in a quiet area. The menu, however, doesn't offer much choice. We were initially told that lasagna was no longer available that day. We then ordered spaghetti carbonara and macaroni with meatballs, along with a mixed salad. The carbonara was quite tasty. The meatballs were completely forgotten in the macaroni, so it was just macaroni with a tomato sauce. And the salad was overpriced at €8 and a bit disappointing. The service, unfortunately, wasn't that good either. We asked for the bill and had to wait 20 minutes before we went inside and paid ourselves. The waiter could have also suggested that it would be better to pay inside. A €2.50 per person charge is added to the bill for the table setting. So, unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

22/06/2025: Quiet. Local. Cool. Informal. Good reasonable food. We had anchovies and tartare. Delicious.

02/08/2025: Good food all around! Our server was quick to push a large amount of starters for the table that were far more than we needed, but garlic bread and cheeses were delicious. The cuttlefish ink pasta is a Venice specialty, and it was fantastic here. Fried calamari was a bit tough. Service did take quite a bit.

02/08/2025: Atmospheric place, good pizza, friendly service. I recommend Tratoria da Nino, it's worth a visit. Prices are typical of Venice 👍

13/07/2025: If you want to eat well, you can't go wrong here. The roe deer fettuccine is mouth-watering, with excellent meat and a variety of delicious side dishes. Superb service and minimal wait. Excellent!

27/07/2025: The good quality of the food is completely ruined by the rudeness and lack of courtesy of the head waiter and the cashier, two graying gentlemen who should be experienced in treating customers but who are actually rushed and annoyed, completely ruining the restaurant experience. Especially considering the prices are quite high.

27/07/2025: Although dinner on the outdoor terrace is quite expensive (€65 per person), I wouldn't have had anything to say if it weren't for the unprofessional, rushed, and sloppy nature of the head waiter, which ruined the entire experience. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths. It's disappointing to see all the waiters friendly and helpful, and then to see the head waiter with an attitude more suited to a market stall than a fine restaurant.

15/07/2025: Evite este restaurante, hay tantos buenos restaurantes en Venecia desafortunadamente este no es uno de ellos. Sí, es una buena ubicación, pero el servicio es horrible, platos pedidos que nunca llegaron a pesar de perseguir 3 veces. Comida devuelta tan no cocinada como se pidió. Inodoros no limpios. Terrible experiencia de tal vergüenza cuando solo estás en Venecia durante unos días.

13/07/2025: Ombra del Leone is a restaurant that seems promising at first, but after waiting an hour for the food, they bring out the main course before the appetizers. The food is poorly prepared or overly seasoned. With so many restaurant options in Venice, I recommend choosing somewhere else and not wasting your time here.

07/07/2025: A very good pizzeria with many excellent dishes. I've eaten there several times, and the prices are very good for the food and what's on offer. The fish and seafood dishes are highly recommended; they're very plentiful, not just a few mussels like in Germany, where they also offer a generous portion of squid and scampi. Pizza and other dishes also looked very good, and our group really enjoyed themselves there. The ambiance is very pleasant and nicely decorated; in hot weather, they use air conditioning to keep the temperature comfortable. If you do order too much, just ask, and they'll pack up the rest to take away. I think that's very sustainable.

25/06/2025: I was there on Sunday 22-06-2025 after my dad wanted to take us for years… I had a great time, the manager was SUPER SUPER kind and helpful. The food was excellent, I took a gnocchi with duck as a first course and veal with tuna sauce as a second course… what can I say, one better than the other, you could tell they were homemade, and the veal with tuna sauce had its amazing sauce and was cut thin, the right portions for the price it has. An experience to ABSOLUTELY DO AGAIN

15/06/2025: STAY AWAY FROM THIS "RESTAURANT". I am telling you about my experience on 06/15/2025. I booked by phone asking for the availability of bigoli, I received a positive response from the manager. I arrived on site and was greeted coldly, we explicitly ordered BIGOLI from the waiting staff, we received linguine with duck ragù. Unhappy we went to PAY (receipt not issued), and politely explained my discomfort for not having received the desired food, I added that they thought I was a foreigner and could have brought me any type of pasta. I added that I would never return there (always politely). The owner told me: "Go away", I got pissed off and I sent him outside to discuss face to face. The RABBIT 🐰 🐰 🐰, ran away to the kitchen. Human pettiness. Her collaborator and accomplice, mortified on the surface, adds: "We thought it was the same to have linguine instead of bigolo". Finally she didn't want to make me pay, I insist, I pay and I put a VERY BLACK cross. Cover charge: €3, Location not up to the mark for such a request. TO BE AVOIDED ABSOLUTELY.

20/07/2025: I'm sorry, but I have to give one star because the lunch was ruined by the heat inside the restaurant. Apparently, the air conditioning broke, turning the place into a sauna. If it weren't for the waitress apologizing, the owners pretended nothing had happened. When it came time to pay the bill, not even an apology or a discount (at least on the service).

08/06/2025: Do you want to eat good fish? This is the right place. The pizza is also good. Very friendly staff.

The welcome was warm from the first moment: the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel truly at home. The food? Wonderful! 17/06/2025: simple lunch but with excellent food and good portions, the service, despite it being Tuesday and the restaurant almost full, was fast and courteous with kind waiters; welcoming interior and with a very pleasant temperature, in short a positive experience I was with my wife who shared a good lunch and the review more than positive.

25/07/2025: On est attiré par 3 chanteurs qui mettent une bonne ambiance et l’endroit est charmant à côté des arènes. Mais les plats sont chers et décevants. Entre autres ,des spaghettis trop cuits à la langouste sans goût. Et nous rajouter 20 % de service sur la facture nous a surpris. Nous ne reviendrons pas .

23/07/2025: The service was very unhurried: no one came to take the order for a long time. The food was prepared quickly, we had to remind about the drinks, they didn't bring everything right away, they forgot about the ice, although we asked for it. They didn't even offer dessert, and we didn't insist. We couldn't wait for the bill for a long time. The cost of the dishes is high, they take 15% for service, but they don't provide such service.
