17/09/2025: Service good, pizzas acceptable. My own experience: Chicken salad - consisted of thin slivers of pre cooked chicken then fried into chewy cougons. I grimaced and immediately waiter was very responsive, took salad away and approached manager straight away. Manager brought out a whole batch of pre fried cougons and proceeded to eat one in front of me to show me that he thought it was acceptable. I just said a couple of words (equivalent to I don’t agree). No arguments. So the food was taken away. About 10 minutes later the manager emerged with a salad topped by freshly fried chicken. Clearly the restaurant is re frying yesterday’s chicken and serving to tourists if they can get away with it. A sign that this place has low standards. See photo. Chicken comparison can be seen as some old chicken was left on my salad by mistake. I compliment the management for not charging for my chicken salad. That is a good sign but the whole episode should not have happened.

27/09/2025: We actually didn't plan on going to this restaurant, but we missed two of our planned restaurants because they were closed, so we decided to go to the one closer to our accommodation, which was amazing. We were impressed with the service, the staff were friendly and smiling, the seafood was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was warm. It must have been fate that we found this restaurant, and we were not disappointed.

29/08/2025: Spaghetti alla busera = a huge disappointment... it was spaghetti with tomato sauce and 5 small, dry pieces of scampi... forgettable 😥

11/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere! I highly recommend it! The only important thing is to arrive shortly after opening, otherwise it's difficult to find a seat because everything is taken.

07/10/2025: It's a disaster. We went based solely on the positive reviews (it's rated 4.5 on Google, but most of the reviews are very old). Considering the portion sizes, this place seems to aspire to serving a tasting menu/fine dining experience, but it falls far short of high-class cuisine – the food is bland (both in appearance and taste), and the portions are very small. I didn't know it was possible to prepare pasta with black truffle in such a mediocre and bland way, but yes, this place surprisingly manages to do it! 😂 The service was strange. We asked for black tea three times, and the waiter finally brought a soda called "black tea" (is it that hard to make tea?). Overall, for Italy, the service wasn't very friendly. The bill was over €100, paid at the bar, because the waiter couldn't come to the table and prepare the bill within 15 minutes. The interior is sad and small, and the decor is average. KEEP AWAY

27/09/2025: Dinner for 6. Confusion over the dishes ordered: cacio e pepe with no pepper whatsoever and barely noticeable pecorino cheese. The only saving grace was the truffle, which practically embellished its appearance. The rabbit cost €24, which in our opinion wasn't worth the price. There were also misunderstandings about coffee and desserts. Almost €400, which definitely wasn't worth it. Waiters need to know what they're serving.

10/10/2025: As soon as you disembark... you're looking for certainties! "As soon as you step off the plane after a long stint in Spain, how could you resist Metropolis pizza? Impossible! And in this case, it was a perfect choice. Because, let's face it, this is a pizza with a bang!" "The ingredients are of a quality that surprises you, a 'bravo!' I'm convinced by the pizza chef's choice of ingredients. The pizza is well-leavened, you can tell there's been a lot of study and patience behind it, a cloud that doesn't weigh you down. And the cooking? Perfect, a crispy and fragrant crust that makes you say, 'Job well done, chef!'" ​"They seem obvious: top-notch ingredients, perfect leavening, and impeccable cooking... but often, and I mean often, it's difficult to find this winning trio. But when you enter Metropolis, well, it's a certainty. Metropolis is a happy oasis for lovers of real pizza. Rating: 9++

05/10/2025: Very good pizza, very precise service and a welcoming atmosphere, certainly worth repeating and recommending.

26/08/2025: We had a great family lunch, ordered pizza, different pastas. Gluten free lasagna was an amazing surprise for our celiac family member!

25/08/2025: Small portions, but delicious. Quick service. Pasta alla carbonara was okay, though lacking in meat. Lasagna was overcooked. Other than that, okay. The garden has a nice view.

27/04/2025: Per un’esperienza “totalizzante” su piatti di pesce, questo è “the place to be”, il posto dove andare. La qualità del cibo, l’attenzione con la quale verrete serviti e l’ambiente raffinato sono gli elementi che mi hanno colpito fin dalla mia prima visita. La varietà del menù accontenterà tutti gli amanti del pesce, dal crudo al cotto per concludere con dolci speciali e fatti al momento (come il tiramisù).

23/04/2025: Il 14 settembre 2024 abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio in questa meravigliosa location, e non potevamo desiderare di meglio. Fin dal primo incontro con Davide, Stefania ed Eva ci siamo sentiti ascoltati, accolti e guidati con una professionalità che non perde mai il calore umano. Ogni dettaglio, dalla cena di prova al grande giorno, è stato curato con attenzione e passione. Lo staff è stato incredibilmente disponibile, attento ad ogni nostra esigenza e sempre pronto a proporre idee originali che hanno reso l’evento davvero unico. Il clima era accogliente e cordiale, un perfetto equilibrio tra familiarità e grande competenza. Abbiamo scelto insieme il menù, lo abbiamo provato in anticipo e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti: ogni portata era una piccola opera d’arte, deliziosa e particolare. Un grande punto di forza è stata la sensibilità verso le esigenze alimentari degli ospiti — tra celiaci, vegetariani, intolleranze e allergie, tutti hanno ricevuto piatti dedicati, senza rinunciare alla qualità e alla creatività. Tra i momenti più divertenti, la composizione della torta fatta da noi sposi: un’idea bellissima che ha coinvolto gli invitati e regalato risate e partecipazione. La location è davvero magica, con un giardino curatissimo e una piscina che la sera, con le luci e le foto, ha creato un’atmosfera incantevole. A mezzanotte, i mitici panini "onti": un successo clamoroso! E il rito della sabbia, proposto dallo staff, è stato un momento simbolico e commovente che porteremo sempre con noi. 13/10/2025: Very tasty pasta, we highly recommend it, the owner speaks Polish which attracted us, very nice atmosphere, we are very satisfied and recommend it 😀

21/09/2025: Coperto for nothing (knife and fork). Pizza quite tasteless and hardly any ham. The atmosphere is very pleasant outdoors.

13/08/2025: Unfortunately, we were misled. Reviews from two years ago and older claim the place serves pasta, pizza, and other Italian delicacies. Upon arrival, we discovered that the waitress asked us to sit inside (because we wanted something to eat). Once inside, a second waitress announced that they didn't have a food menu, only drinks. We only ordered two drinks. Of course, the waitress didn't serve the third because she got the order wrong. The drinks were cheap, though. The waitresses were running around like crazy and ignored us. It's a shame, because we had high hopes after seeing so many positive reviews. The location is very atmospheric and charming, right on the canal.

04/10/2025: Homemade pasta and gnocchi served in a pan. They know what tastes good! I highly recommend the Tagliatelle Cambusa and the Gnocci Quadro fromaggi.

16/10/2025: Great ambiance, good location, first-class food. We had two cacio e pepe dishes with mixed salads. There was even live music! It's worth making a reservation, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten a seat.

13/10/2025: We got the tip from our host. Absolutely amazing fresh pasta. I had the sepia pasta with cuttlefish and tomato sauce. It tasted amazing. The kids had the Bolognese and were in heaven. The tiramisu was also absolutely divine. One of the best I've ever eaten. They didn't hesitate to serve the house wine. The pizza was also delicious. There was live music that evening. The hostess was super friendly. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended, especially given the late hour.

03/07/2025: We entered. We waited. We left. No one even glanced at us. I understand that they had work but at least a hello. In response to their response. We were in no hurry and we were not looking for fast food. The staff, despite having seen us, did not pay any attention to us, welcoming in a very "different" way other regular customers who evidently knew them. However, a good morning or a response can be given even in times of great affluence.

01/07/2025: Good restaurant. The rooms need to be reviewed. The corridor between the floors is dark, not the best in terms of security either. The first room assigned looked like an ashtray. In the second room the air conditioner, rather dated, only cooled to the maximum. The noise was also at maximum... A sore point was the breakfast room, where the air conditioning was not turned on. With the windows open, outside temperature of 28 degrees and 90% humidity, after breakfast a second shower was needed. In response to the response from the Locanda: Ad Majora!

28/09/2025: I ordered lasagna and pizza for my son and I, we both found the pizza incredible (we ordered a margarita) I didn't like the lasagna much or at least the sauce but I still give it 5 stars
